It was a miracle that his father allowed him to go to Hau’Oli by himself. Especially to receive advice from someone who’d been ‘good with this kind of thing’. Daisuke didn’t even know if he was. Daisuke wasn’t a real trainer in any sense of the word, so whatever Logan would have told him would have likely gone over his head...

It was still nice to have gotten away from his parents, even if that did require him to write down everything Logan told him and bring it back to his father for review. He hoped he would have given him something to work with...

The boy stepped off of the ferry to Hau’Oli city with pokemon in tow, Sayaka behind him and Kisuke bundled in his arms. Daisuke shuffled the popplio under one arm to pull his C-Gear and check for the hotels in the area. Which one would his new tutor be staying at, he wondered. His thumb danced over the screen to find the man’s inbox and send him a quick message.

[I’ve arrived in the city. I’m at the docks. You should see brown hair and a Gothitelle.]

Hmm...that sounded too straightforward.

[Please be safe on your way.]

...Not much better, but he’d rather stop before it got weird.
