This blog is run by one person -- me! The name's Nebula (they/them), I'm 25, and I'm just a silly little guy that's still very new to Tumblr, so please be patient!! I'm just here to have fun and share this extra angsty AU that's been spinning uncontrollably in my brain since mid-January, and I hope I can interest a few people in this little story of mine! :))

The Abandoned Circus is mainly based on the concepts of "development hell" (media that's stuck in the development stage for an indefinite period of time) and "abandonware" (software that's been left to rot by its creator for any number of reasons), plus the core idea of, "what if every AI in the Digital Circus suddenly disappeared overnight?"

Just imagine: a tired, frustrated game dev goes to update the AI in this cool little retro game they've been working on for years. The software sucks. Coding sucks. Making it VR compatible is a nightmare. Everything is so janky and difficult to use. They eventually get so fed up trying to make things work that they decide, "hey, y'know what? This isn't worth the trouble. Fuck this." They put the game down one day... but they don't come back. Not the next day, or the next, or the next...

In a digital world inhabited by six unfortunate humans trapped together in a strangely cruel place that really doesn't care if you're struggling, what comes next? What happens when the characters that we all know and love are given the unrestricted freedom to do anything they want without the all-seeing eyes of what equates to a God™™™ watching over them?

What will they do without the ability to fix everyday bugs and glitches?

What happens if someone goes off the deep end?

Well, lucky for you I've already written a little bit about this whole ordeal, and I've got several more chapters already in the works!

I don't have an upload schedule or anything, but I'll keep y'all updated whenever I post something new, of course. Who knows? I might even start posting some extra content here as well... ;)c

Hey all, MatPat made a video on TADC, so I think it’s time to give a quick refresher on what a terrible person he is, so it doesn’t turn into his second FNaF-Cashcow for theories.

We all know how scummy of a person he is, with doxxing, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and more.

Not to mention his recent video where he talks about the hate towards his FNaF theories, where he spends the majority of the video explaining how him and his staff are smarter than the majority of the population due to a personality test that his staff has all taken.

He then ends the video by taking around 10 minutes to promote their new merch, and ties the merch plug-in into the main point of the video, trying to guilt the audience into giving him more money.

He’s not some “funny theorist man”, he’s a horrible, bigoted scumbag who doesn’t seem to care that his words have an impact on the world and actual, real life people.

So yeah. This was a post detailing the horrible actions of this man, and I hope it serves as a reminder of what a horrible type of person he is. Do not support his content, especially not now when he’s jumping ship from one fandom that hates him, and going to a new fandom thats getting more mainstream.

okay unhinged essay about ragatha probably #1 idk i don't think this is all of my thoughts but here's what i could actually put down

i think the most surprising thing for me Personally is getting a lot of my interpretations of ragatha correct ? like . the thing that almost destroyed my motivation for this blog is the fear that my unhinged overanalyzation of her mannerisms in the pilot were Wrong - i actually thought about canceling everything when i was off from canon - but now ... yeah i'm not doing that

i guess it's just that we had so little of her in the first episode that i thought i was Manifesting her issues but Nope she really is this much of a Loser

first of all ! i suspected that she has low self-esteem but Goodness Gracious !! i didn't expect it to be Actually almost non-existent ?? like i thought i was Exaggerating for this blog but no , no person with a normal amount of self-esteem would Warp an incident so much in their head that they somehow believe something going wrong is Their Fault .

like she's so focused on pomni the entire episode because she Genuinely believes that the fiasco in the first day was her fault ( even though IT WASN'T , but she's really that used to quickly blaming herself ) and wants to make it up to her . but of course pomni is still adjusting and is Overwhelmed by everything ( which is understandable ) so she's not really in the mood for ragatha's bullshit

but with how ragatha reacts and what she subsequently tells kinger - she read those more as ' i do not like you ' than ' i am too fatigued to care about anything right now ' which is such a Large leap , but considering she was the one who Apologized to pomni for giving her a stressful first day ( which was COMPLETELY out of her control , ) it makes sense that she assumes that pomni has something against her - which was not helped by how none of ragatha's attempts of starting a friendship were reciprocated

i do understand why she would Think it's her fault - as pomni's a newcomer and More Stress is the last thing she needs , especially in her first day - but ' oh she doesn't like me ' is still Such a hasty conclusion that someone who already ... Doesn't Like Themself would jump to .

of course i can't not talk about the potential history between her and kinger . through their dialogue you can tell that ragatha's one of those people that took a batshit long time to truly adjust to the circus - which has a lot of interesting implications . with how she seems to understand the process of finding an exit in episode 1 , it explains a lot . my girl was so Not well when she entered the circus .

honestly it's just nice seeing that ragatha at least has Some support despite her being the one who holds everything together - it makes the ending impactful in my opinion ; they do really care for each other and will be saddened if one of them is gone .

also of course she asked if everyone's alright despite having a cleaver to the head ...

something that also has been nagging me for a long time is how much she always gets the short end of the stick . like , literally every time she's on screen , she Has To Get Harmed in some way . i would brush this off as slapstick when her official pin doesn't have her HAVING A KNIFE TO THE CHEST ???

Maybe it's just slapstick . maybe with her having parallels to kaufmo considering how he's said to be a goofy toxic positivity type guy like ragatha and is the one that has abstracted thus far is just a coincidence and doesn't speak levels to what might become inevitable as the series goes on ,

The Pomni twins have been finished!

Pom, the brains of the duo, is a smart gal who is calculated in her thought process and trying to plan the best way to get out of the toybox server! However, her ability to think makes her tend to process things slowly, making her freeze while trying to think about what she needs to do.

Ni, the brawn of the duo, is a versatile gal who's great at using her survival instincts to keep herself and her sister out of danger! However, unlike her sister, she's more spontaneous and will do things out of a quick instinct rather than think things through.

Being the new toys in the toybox, they appear as fresh, clean, new dolls for the server in a place where the AI is often depicted as abandoned and damaged. Despite being two completely different users, the twins stick together while trying to survive in this server as best as they can.

My AU of the amazing digital cricus! Abandoned horror!tadc and the games that inspired this au is horror like dead by dead light and Identity V are the main game that these poor people are in.

This Au is people minus pomi can transform into the monster of them but is just a monster form of the digital avatar. Cain was bored of having more monsters then survivers so he made the next people or person in pomi's case not have a monster form and who wants a jester that's like a clown a 3rd time?

Here is the survivor side and what they can do and one fun fact about them!

Pomi: a stunner that can stun monsters with her flashlight in her bag? Or a messager bag and a camera incase the place gets to dark. Fun fact she were or was an YouTuber of something.

Ragatha: a medical that can heal people to full but it might take time so a good hiding place is invited with her. Fun fact she is or was in medical school to be a nurse!

Jax: a randomizer that can somehow get things like his bowling ball out of his pocket and throw it to the monster, or a healing item. Fun fact he's 'bunny ears' on his head is just his hair and naturally like that.

Gangle: A figure or plush maker that makes those two out of thin air with a cloud over her hands but takes time to finish them and either as an attack weapon or a healing weapon like Jax but can actually pick the plush/figure. Fun fact she is a theater kid but mostly a background clean up/replace props crew.

Zooble: either an attacker or a sheilder haven't decided yet but they can change their monster avatar by Cain's approval and color of their Prastadic whatever they want and that's the fun fact! oh and they don't like it there of where they are.

Kinger: an sheilder but rarely attacker but that's rarely or gets scared/startled at the monster that's currently in the game or other teammates and can costumise the pillow for his 'fort'. Fun fact is that the butterfly clip on his hair was a gift from Cain to remember his wife Queenie and Cain for some reason that even kinger doesn't know.

Kaufmo: no longer an survivor turned into his clown monster but he was an runner like run faster then Jax surprisingly enough and helps people out of the Constitution their in as the rest of the survivors can do to! Fun facts he use to make bad jokes to light people's mood and can somehow braid long and medium hair somehow!

Chapter 2 Sneak Peek #3!!

[Preview] Closing the Distance: Chapter 3

Pomni thought she heard someone. She tried to focus but the constant static in her ears was making it difficult.

“ …ni……omn…”

Whoever they were, they sounded so far away. She wanted to call out to them. To do anything other than just sit here curled up in a tight little ball. But she remained locked in place. Her body refused to budge.

“Pom……mni…..Po…”

She could almost make out a name trying to push its way through the noise. A pathetic whimper slipped from her lips in her attempt to make her presence known.

“POMNI!”

Before she could register the voice, a pair of soft hands landed on Pomni’s shoulders and began to shake her. The sudden sensation of contact brought a wave of sharp pins to spike throughout her body. Her eyes flew wide open at the discomfort as blaring alarms replaced the static to rattle around inside her head.

Pomni felt her hands quickly curl up into tight fists. In one swift motion her right arm extended outward with all of her strength to sucker punch the person in front of her as she let out a broken yell. Her knuckles landed squarely on something plush, and whoever had their hands on her shoulders were abruptly thrown back from the force, effectively releasing her from their grip. The jester had her eyes shut tight with her head down, breathing heavily as she felt the pins gradually subside.

“……Ow,” she heard someone groan.

Pomni’s eyes flew open as her head darted up with a gasp. She finally recognized the voice. 

In front of her, sprawled on the checkered floor, lay Ragatha. The ragdoll had propped herself up on one hand while wincing as she rubbed her left cheek with the other. The pupil in her good eye had turned into a spiral as she sucked in a breath through gritted teeth.

Ragatha then blinked and her pupil returned to normal, settling on Pomni as the jester continued to look at her in quiet disbelief. The jester watched as the doll took a moment to straighten herself up and kneel in front of Pomni with both hands folded politely on her lap.

A wobbly smile fixed itself on Ragatha’s face. “Haha. Boy, that’s some right hook you got there,” she chuckled wearily. “Huh, New Stuff?�� 

Pomni felt something wet trickling down her cheek. Her breathing slowly became ragged again as she stared at the doll in front of her. Ragatha’s face fell when the jester started to shake.

Gripping her head with both hands, Pomni began to sob.

I punched her. The static returned with full force as she continued to scream inside her head. I PUNCHED her. I PUNCHED HER. I JUST PUNCHED RAGATHA IN THE FACE.
