hi, i saw your ask to tacticiankate and just wanted to drop you a line. there's a relatively small but thriving Exalted tag on here and we love newcomers so feel free to ask us any questions too. hope you have fun with it :)

Thank you very much!!! I will most likely do so! I'm familiar with the VtM system and since they're by the same publisher I assume there's some similarities in systems but the setting looks so neat. If you're willing to answer, what's the combat like? is it a more combat focused game like DnD or is combat supposed to be rarer/deadlier and/or approached with a lot of care? What is a limit break and how do they work?

Blade of Seventy Stars

Legendary, (Requires attunement)

Said to be forged of a meteorite that crashed into earth after passing through the “Anceres” Constellation, when you look at this blade, you see not a reflection in its sheen, but the night sky itself. 

The bearer of this blade, as long as they can see the night sky, can sense the presence of any creatures within 60 ft. not of their planet or of the material plane

While outdoors, the wielder of this blade has a fly speed of 30 ft. 

This blade does an additional 2d6 Radiant Damage on hit, or 4d6 Radiant Damage to Fiends, Celestials, or Otherworldly Abberations. 

Once per long rest, the wielder can use an action to hold up the blade and cause it to shimmer and shine. All creatures that can see it must make a DC 16 Wisdom Save or be charmed by the wielder for one minute. While charmed, they must simply stare at the blade. They cannot move or take any actions. If they are harmed or attacked, or have any hostile actions taken against them, this effect immediately ends.

Katelyn is pink but very professional, the one filter everyone puts on gifset posts to make it cleaner. It’s sharp but maintains it’s distilled fairy-like magic to it.

My Lunar, Hides-Behind-Teeth, the Whistling Beast of Champoor, Resplendent Devourer and Chosen of the Changing Moon, has her hair brushed by her Extremely Tall lifelong friend, Shimmers-Among-Silk, the moth who’s wings span the sky!

Hides’ beast form is a horrible mutant moray eel/praying mantis, and her tell is her triple-redundant fangorious maw of mandibles, fangs, and pharyngeal jaws, which takes up so much dang space in her face there is no room for frivolities like “vocal chords” or “a tongue” or “anything but a whirling vortex of individually articulating, vice-grip, needlepoint teeth”

 @tacticiankate  gets credit for the beautimous sketch, and also for the delightful Shimmers-Among-Silk, her own Lunar Exalt, whomst I shall defer the honor of the tell-all to her own creator, and say here only that she is a HUGE caviria vinasia moth who beats people senseless with her gangly strength 5 bulldozer kicks, and once smacked a dude through the hull of his own ship, looney-tunes style, it was GREAT

Thank you so much for tagging me @halfmoone !! Pass the happy along!! When you get this, tell five things that make you happy. Then send it to ten other nice people. 1. Volunteering at the library! I've had the most fun helping with the free summer lunch for kids at the public library, and I've also really loved volunteering at the school library! It's really relaxing to cover books and organize the shelves, and the other volunteers are so much fun. 2. I love spending time with my aunt and cousin that live in the upper apartment of our house, they're really fun and positive people! 3. I really enjoy the little times my mom and I will go to mcmenamins for the late happy hour and just get strawberry lemonades and Cajun tater tots and hang out for awhile. 4. I love going on car rides a lot, it's nice to just space out and not be anywhere. The scenery is super nice, I have my favorite places nearby that have a lot of plants and some deer! 5. I love walking to the little market and park close to my house with my friends and brothers, and I also love to watch movies with them!
