He’s affectionate, sweet, and such a fun cat. Theo originally came into the shelter as an owner surrender with a severely injured leg. Vet staff was able to give Theo the amputation he needed, and this resilient little dude is doing great. Theo was briefly adopted, but then returned on 9/8/20 because he did not get along with the dog in the home. We sure hope this purrfect kitty finds the forever home he deserves soon! We had a TOTALLY TABBY TYCOON this morning! 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻 Please meet momma Google and her EIGHT tabbilicious kittens! Adsense, Maps, Drive, Chrome, Play, Search, Adwords, and Gmail were all the product of Google at 4am this morning. 😅 (yeah....we're hilarious) Google has been at the shelter for the past few days before they realized she may give birth last night. 😳 Though they placed her in a foster for the night, Google wasn't producing milk after giving birth and the foster rushed her back to the shelter. We heard the news of Google's newest 'brands' and quickly intercepted the return. This way, we could get Google to our facility and make her comfy enough to let that milk flow! Yes, we were prepared to feed and stimulate every couple hours for the next few weeks. Yes, we got them right into the incubator and prepped for foster. But mom is important too! So we pampered her and told her how awesome she is and gave her a warm belly sponge bath. We checked all her teats for production then reintroduced the babies and WA-LAH! Google happily produced milk AND made biscuits while her babies ate. 🥰 We have her in a comfy foster home and we're supplementing with syringe feeding in order to help Google keep up with this crew, but all is well.
