1. i love the cold and uncaring character who learns to love again. like holy fucking shit its SO good. i love it with naegami but with naegiri its so delicious bc kyoko consistently uses makoto for her own goals and a lot of it is bc she cant fathom thinking of him as a friend. she has to have an ulterior motive for wanting him around. its why she ends up going after him when he's executed, its her finally admitting to herself that she DOES care about him 😞😞😞😞😞😞

2. AND MAKOTO! kyoko is consistently a lifeline for makoto. yes, he helps her and helps her grow and learn to trust and love others. but kyoko is also a consistent motivator for makoto. makoto IS hopeful, but i really love that he has moments of weakness. moments where he can feel himself slipping into despair and sadness but kyoko believes and loves him so much shes always there to help him back up 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
