I’m a sucker for Good Dad Splinter ever since I watched TMNT ‘03. That rat was gifted sapience and his immediate instinct was kindness. I love that for him.

Rise Splinter lived a rollercoaster of a life, but as a Hollywood star he remembered the names of all his stunt guys and coworkers, and as a prisoner he cared for the rat that shared his cell. His sons are very close and physically affectionate, I think that says something about how he cares? That’s just how I like to headcanon him :)

It’s interesting to explore the idea that a seemingly monstrous transformation is what pushed him to be a kinder human

when you were just a little rat, small, curious, helpless, but you were shown care, love, and safety. then you witnessed the murder of the people who took you in, saw the cruelty of the world. the aftermath found you in the sewer, suddenly intelligent and mutated with four small baby turtles. so you took care of them, and tried to raise them, even though you were just learning how to be a person yourself. despite your best try to keep them all safe, the world is harsh and cruel… if you had the choice they would have never had to struggle and hurt like this….

Back by unpopular demand

I SHAT THAT UPDATE OUT QUICK BUT WE ARE UP TO SUCH A CUTE AND FUNNY PART OF THE STORY!! SO YEAH.

Again, the story is created by @celestiangell read it here if you want to get ahead. The comic is illustrated by me, and i add a few things here and there like in this chapter (i basically made it funnier you're not funny celestiangel I'm kidding you are but I'm funnier)

And art style and comic style is gonna be so inconsistent since I'm tryna figure it out. but the colours will change per arc that was always planned.

I used to be so scared of my roommates cat before we moved in together, but now the little guy absolutely loves me. He is obsessed with cuddles. He lays on all my stuff. He trips me by rubbing up on my legs wherever I go. He hangs out with me all the time, it’s so cute.

Turns out my man just had a resting bitch face and didn’t want me to leave whenever I would visit, who knew lol
