Interrupting a dwelbit- troll hunt would be wild because
No one's speaking a recognizable language it's a hodgepodge of khûzdul, Hobbitish/Westros, and Sindarian put in a blender on high
Sometimes the participants won't even understand and just go "OCH LADDIE SAY WHATCHA WILL IN COMMON ALREADY!" All while aforementioned youth is being flung around by the ankle by an injured troll
There's offshoots and pebbles looking the age of 10 years old all armored up taking part in their first hunt all wired and covered in blood looking absolutely feral.
You thought they were all on the ground? No they're coming from the trees and hacking into trolls from above too.
Mahal! They are everywhere!
Their eyes glow/reflect light they're absolutely terrifying
Fast and quiet on all terrain they bounce around like ping-pong balls off trees and rock alike
They make a game out of who can make what trolls accidentally kill EACH OTHER in the pursuit of the dwelbit warriors so what you think is a chase is actually a set up
Very seal vs great white
Long range attacks for goblins and up close weaponry for trolls
Everyone is drenched in troll blood and they smell hideous afterwards
They just go to the nearest lake and fall in to get clean before going home.

Dwelbits are notorious for latching on and not letting go until their quarry is dead
They easily enter a tage of hyper aggression and need to be put in place by other warriors to ensure they don't continue with blood lust rampages. The hype is too strong!!
Dwelbit scouts are notoriously fast and quiet barely disturbing the underbrush and ground when they move. They spend years studying the terrain within their territories during the day and nightfall of all seasons. Nothing catches a dwelbit scout by surprise unless its another dwelbit scout.

A stay Over in region 2 would include...
if the company stayed over in region 2 before entering mirkwood here's what they could expect.
Dwelbit pebbles and offshoots crowding around all wide eyed and smiley. Bouncing around them. Examining their clothes. Asking them questions.
They would get climbed on like playground equipment.
Thorin would get extra attention all the little ones would follow him with super wide eyes. He's The Mountain King!!!!
Whenever he would turn around they would scatter giggling excitedly. They'd make him big flower crowns
Upon hearing Fíli and Kíli are his nephews they would get big flower crowns too. They're the mountain princes and they get followed around too but it's far more blatant. Most likely to be attacked by hugs to the knees.
Bilbo would get a daisy flower crown and special pipeweed.
Balin, Óin,Bombur, Glóin, and Dori would all get such preferential treatment at tea time
Mead. Plum wine. Mead. Wine. Mead. Mead. Wine. Mead. Mead on a loop the whole time.
Pebbles and offshoots ask bilbo for stories because He's A Hobbit!!
Party deer hunt followed up by feasting all night long
Dancing so much dancing.
Dwelbit games like willow ring and raven toss
They all get flirted with. All of them.
They all get sweet talked and asked to bed by at least 5 people.
Once the party is over the daily life continues and things settle down and they can just chill.
They can play with lambs and go for walks
Read and craft and play instruments
Go to learn stained glass or to the forge
Or just sit around and relax
everyone ggets new clothes and new weaponry when they leave

Dwarrow: we have inner names only our closest kin know and outer names everyone knows
Dwelbits who have inner names, outer names, and then below and beyond names, taking a swig of home brewed whatever they found from another clan in the last cave they explored: that's SO cute baby girl.

Dwelbit naming tradition and inner outer below and beyond names. Creche braids.
Dwelbits have a below and beyond name they use when interacting with the community below and beyond the confines of their community. So Herinýi isn't Herinýi. She's Harriety. Thima isn't thima. She's thimble and most definitely a hobbit!
Then they have intercommunity names used among the clans and these names hold significant meaning. So Herinýi means new moon rabbit. Because she was born during the new moon and she has large ears so she looks like a rabbit. Not very nice but it's a fitting name and one that makes her recognizable to others immediately and tells them something else about her: her temperament.
Dwelbits believe your moon phase at birth dictates your temperament. So moon phases are often used in naming traditions.
If you were born during the day thats a WHOLE OTHER THING.
The inner names- are names only known between Ama/ds and the individual offspring and to no one else. Not even fathers (or other parents.) Should the child be adopted one parent will give the name. The speaker of the inner name is considered the keeper of the child's soul this is because the mother (presumptively) and the child are still tethered by both soul and umbilical cord.
This bond is maintained throughout nursing life with repetitive private singing of the offshoot or pebbles name to strengthen the souls bond to the body. Ensuring the pebble/offshoot survives.
Once a child takes to root and ground (able to walk with ease over all terrain) they are considered old enough to join the creche.
It is during this ceremony the inner name and the creche braid take center stage.
Creche braids and inner names:
The name keeper braids a single braid within their offspring hair at the beginning of every day before they depart. Whispering their inner name as a promise to return while they embrace, leaving them to their day of learning.
This can get quite lengthy if you have multiple offspring!! All milling around to be FIRST ME FIRST ME FIRSTTTTT!!!!! You were first last week. NO MY TURN! ETC.
Upon returning to retrieve their offspring everything is usual. But the braid remains in. Being refreshed every morning with a special goodbye and a promise to return just for them.
Creche braids are done until the child graduates basic education.
They can get quite long and change in style. Though some families may have a traditional style others may allow for experimentation.

The future of dwelbits
Due to low numbers in their population it is a necessity that dwelbits seek outside their kin at certain points in their timeline. Otherwise they risk inbreeding.
This IS going to force dwelbits to reveal themselves to the world eventually. They truly have no choice if they wish to survive and thrive. 
This means Increased marrying outsiders and Courtship Trips (which include competitive games and balls) all addressed here.
Secrecy and marrying outsiders:
If a dwelbit chooses to marry outside and leave the community its not a ban they are always welcome back and supported. But it's dangerous and they must maintain their below and beyond identity. Which all dwelbits do vigorously.
The risk comes in choosing an outsider that will maintain the secrecy of their society. The safety of their pebbles and offshoots is the most important thing to their society.
There is great disagreement in the clans over how to handle an outside marrying into a dwelbit clan. But one thing remains: offshoots and pebbles are to be raised in and educated in dwelbit traditions. 
Most regions demand offshoots and pebbles live full time in the creche. After they reach maturity they can choose to live in the other parents community. But just like other dwelbits they must remain in the creche for protection and education. 
Region 1 dictates that the outside may come and go as they please so long as the secret is maintained. They are closely aligned with Hobbits and look the most like Hobbits so they are able to go to and fro most easily. This makes maintaining outsiders within the community easier. They most frequently intermarriage withHobbits. Except around Bree where all bets are off and its a free for all.
Region 2 dictates harsher boundaries due to the dispersion. Pebbles and offshoots remain in the creche. The outsider must also remain with their lover unless they prove themselves formidable enough a warrior. But even then their young will be raised in the creche so most stay within the community.  region two has the highest density of elven and dwarrow intermarriages. Their more recent traits are hobbitish and these aren't fully integrated (see Thima: she is outwardly a hobbit but lacks hobbit stealth and has dwarrow bones structure and maintains glowing eyes.)
Region 3 dwells among men most often and because of this their secrecy is a top priority.  Their families often hide their unpassable kin and they would do the same with an outsider. The outsider must either cut ties and join them fully or utilize their connections to benefit the clan.   It's seen as dangerous for an outsider to live independently with their dwelbit lover so they must live within the family home. To protect them and to monitor them. They are a highly suspicious clan. They most frequent intermarriage with dwarrow.
Region 4 is the most flexible. always moving. Always exploring. Always on the run looking and collecting. They keep much close to their chest.  It's most likely an outsider would never know their come and go lover was a dwelbit. But if they did its likely the dwelbit would leave their clan to join them. Rather than ask the outsider to join them as other clans would.
Region 4 has the highest rate of human x dwelbit relations

The dwelbit x human dilemma
Tw child death tw miscarriage  Dwelbits do on occasion marry a human but it is rare due to the lifespan differences. Primarily it is considered tragic and many love songs and poems are written about these tragic lovers and affairs. 
Just like when they fae kidnap a human child- they will completely remove a human lover from their family due to their short lifespan(visits are fine, darling but you LIVE HERE FOREVER) The idea being ' you spent your first life with them now spend the rest with me and mine.'
They must live with the dwelbit regardless of other clan ideologies. Humans are too fragile! Must protecc! (Unless it's region 4 then they're so nomadic they blend into the human family. But man region 4 just never stops moving gotta be finding or gathering something).
Children of these lovers have shorter lifespans compared to their kinsfolk. Depending on the genetic wheel spin: the eldest lived to 120 years.  They are not neglected rather cherished for their short time walking the ground among the clan. 
Great importance is placed on their education and safety. In many ways they are constantly babied and watched over by their peers. Great care is taken with their feelings especially when their human parent dies.
Not much is known about them as only a handful have been born and they are not as plentiful as others.
Miscarriages are common and particularly high in human x dwelbit couples. 
Birthing for a dwelbit is always risky but particularly if they are hobbitish or dwarrow leaning.
Giving birth to a human mixed offspring often leads to the deaths of both.
Dwelbits love and love hard so it is not uncommon for dwelbits to pursue love regardless of their pursued ones people. 
Which gets them into sticky situations. But can you really help it when their whole species was created by people being in love.
Courtship Trips:
Once exposed to the world Dwelbits will arrange courtship trips which include balls and games with associated races of people being invited from across the lands.
Marriage isn't a necessary outcome. It's more a reason for their marriagable young to intermingle and meet potential courtship options.
Dwelbits have many options for declining courtship and different sexual orientations and gender identities.   Many attend courting trips simply for the dancing, games, and the luxury vacation it holds. Theres tons of activities that don't involve flirting, drinking, or socializing!
Depending on the location they will organize a troll hunt just to show off. 
Dwelbits always insure that their young look their best and donate clothing and jewelry and Dress weaponry for trips.
After all you have to Look fancy when you go somewhere Fancy. They always take their rams and despite being on their more proper behavior it's not uncommon for there to be wrestling in hallways or playful scuffles breaking out. Dwelbits love sharing their homebrews, ice creams, and other specialty foods on courting trips.

A brief history of why dweblits hate goblins and trolls

for the first two generations dwelbits didn't have an issue with goblins or trolls.
They were just other threats in the landscape as these isolated groups of outcasts began carving out their place in the mountains and surrounding wild lands.
Until the third generation took foot to ground and root. It was then the trouble began.
Tw Canon typical violence.
Before the third generation took foot to ground and root (walking and running over rocks and among trees).
There existed only the scattered remnants of what would become clans 3 and 4.
The magical smith's and the collectors/keepers.
They remained stationary in housing above ground. Stone and thatch homes seeing nothing wrong or innocuous about how they were living. Nothing bad had happened and their creches were safe provided they remained within the fortified mounded walls.
Until as so often does and as so often happens the worst becomes reality and try as one does to deny it a trickle of events leads to a burst.
It began with goblins in the well. Then goblins clinging to the roofs. Then goblins knocking on windows. Trying to snatch whoever they could.
Then goblins every night. Goblins goblins goblins.
This lead to the Siege of the Burning Mountain
Resulting eventually in;
The dwelbits driving them off and back to their caverns. Pursuing them deep and making off with what material goods they found for their own uses.
This attracted the attention of the trolls also dwelling in those caves.
Battle Of Frozen fire
This led to the battle of frozen fire during a harsh winter a few years later when the trolls came for the sheep. For when they came for the sheep they came for the pebbles and offshoots too.
During the chaos the thatched roof were accidentally set alit causing many burns and many deaths by flame of infants and the very young.
So many were eaten or drug off and eaten later. Some survived and escaped telling horrifying tales. Some survived with mutilating injuries and were never the same afterwards.
Warriors recovering their kin from troll caves faced the incredibly heavy task of recovering bodies or aiding the dying in passing in comforting and loving arms.
Massacre of Burning Lands
Clash of Burning Lands came next when ogres came by daylight a mere generation later. cementing a deep seething hatred for all things living within the deep delighting in vile deeds.
Surviving wasn't a thing this was a massacre pure and simple in all its forms. Equal to the War of the River Banks that would come for Region 2.
Again fire was not a friend and after this they removed thatching from their architecture all together moving towards mud and brick, woven saplings, and living in caves.
