everything from cate’s incredible performance to the cinematography of tár reignited my love for film and inspired me to create cinematic excursions.

cate blanchett embodied this role so well i thought lydia tár was a real person ngl

i could talk about this film for hours honestly 😅

¿Cate Blanchet, pretendiendo ser una lesbiana atormentada? ¿Dónde he visto exactamente eso antes...? 🤔 (y con Cate Blanchet también)

Claramente no entendiste la película. La película no habla de lesbianas atormentadas, "TÁR" habla del abuso del poder y las "relaciones" que se generan gracias a ese tema. Sí, las mujeres poderosas existen; y sí, el poder puede corromper a una mujer; y sí, las mujeres también puede abusar de su figura de autoridad frente a otras mujeres. Lydia y Sharon solo es el otro lado de las moneda para reflejar el abuso que puede ejercer una persona hacía sus "inferiores". Siempre se tacha a las mujeres y a los LGBT+ como personas "buenas", "correctas", "VICTIMAS", y "TÁR" te demuestra que no eres una VICTIMA por ser mujer o una persona LGBT+, eres VICTIMA por ser VICTIMA.

Sin mencionar que la mujer LITERALMENTE aprendió de música y un idioma COMPLETAMENTE NUEVO EN 9 MESES.

Te invito a dejar tu prejuicio de "lesbianas atormentadas" y veras que la actuación de Cate es merecedora de una PUTA ESTATUA, y la película MUY adelantada a su época.

You clearly didn't understand the movie. The film does not talk about tormented lesbians, "TÁR" talks about the abuse of power and the "relationships" that are generated thanks to that subject. Yes, powerful women exist; and yes, power can corrupt a woman; And yes, women can also abuse their authority figure in front of other women. Lydia and Sharon is only the other side of the coin to reflect the abuse that a person can exert towards the "inferior" of her. Women and LGBT+ people are always labeled as "good", "correct", "VICTIMS", and "TÁR" shows you that you are not a VICTIM for being a woman or an LGBT+ person, you are a VICTIM for being a VICTIM.

Not to mention, the woman LITERALLY learned music and a COMPLETELY NEW language IN 9 MONTHS

I invite you to leave your prejudice of "tormented lesbians" and you will see that Cate's performance is worthy of a FUCKING STATUE, and the film WAY ahead of its time.
