Gabby waved a dismissive hand. She was over the slight before he had even apologized for it. Once upon a time she would have held a grudge or demanded something more than an apology from him. She could imagine the rage that would have poured from her, the agitation that would have eaten her up and proved him absolutely right in whatever assumptions he had about her.
"Don't worry about it," she hummed, looking around them. A habit she'd picked up in her time alone. There was no longer anyone watching out for her, making sure that her interactions were safe and not suspicious at all. It had made a small part of her paranoid but she could easily push it away to focus on other things.
Like his next statement. She could offer him a list of things to do in Swynlake. But where would the fun be in that? "And how do you know I'm not a recluse myself? Only come out for dire needs or whatever?" She gave a teasing smirk before shrugging her shoulders. "I'm still figuring it out myself, honestly. I know there's stables, that sounds like something right up your alley. I tend to hang around the clubs. The Court of Miracles and Pixies. Just depends on what type of crowd you want."

If she were younger, Gabby would have been offended by his statement. To assume that she was involved in anything nefarious. He had no idea what kind of woman she was. What kind of vampire she was. But the years had ticked on and Gabriella wasn't nearly as hot headed as she had once been.
In fact, one could say that she was... tired.
Which was why she only laughed at his words. "Neither do I," she responded easily. "Though I do suppose it is still considered bad form to assume something about another. We're not all depraved beings."

Gabriella hated sunny days. Since setting foot outside, she had the beginnings of the worst migraine forming and her irritation only increased with every moment. Even so, she adjusted the sunglasses she wore with one hand while shifting her hold on her shopping bags with the other. Things needed to be done, regardless of the time of day or its weather.
After all, thanks to her lovely half-succubus boss, she was hosting a house warming party. She supposed she needed to have refreshments for her guests.
God she needed to befriend more vampires. If only she wanted to be around other vampires.
And then a very southern drawl was addressing her and she flared her nostrils just a bit before remembering she needed to be amenable and friendly. "Well, that depends on what you're interested in."
