this is such a well-written post. it makes me sad knowing that he and his peers are hurting, especially considering that i saw them perform the night before the post where they looked genuinely so happy on stage.

people (meaning everybody from their company to kpop stans) need to remember that idols are not props but actual human beings. they’re not pawns in wtv game you’re playing. they’re people who don’t need to be idolized or demonized, but should be treated like everybody else.

anyway i don’t want to get into it too much bc online kpop culture has been such a turn off and i learned my lesson not to go overload on analyzing things with strangers.
