I'm still playing BMW, just started chapter 5. I decided to retouch my old drawing - I think it's one of the best art I've ever made LOL nothing is gonna top this. The design is based on the gameplay trailer that dropped back in 2020, when they let him walk around with his chest out. I think they nerfed it for the final release, I don't think the armor he started out with had that deep of a cleavage. Petition to let the Destined One walk with his chest out. It's what Wukong would have wanted.

sometimes the Destined One is terrified of the things his travel companion says. Not that he understands half of the things.

HC since SWK cane change his size, the same applies for his Azure Dome form. So he can be as big as a mountain, or the size of a big yaoguai, or normal sized (whatever normal sized is for the Stone Monkey)

Old Sun at some point figured out that his mortal companion was attracted to his Stone Monkey form, and confronted her about it (he thinks it's interesting and funny)

and ofc Oz denied it with every inch of her life (she thinks the Monkey King already has a big enough ego)

Cue later on Sun Wukong decides to tease her by transforming into the Stone Monkey and play a game of cat and mouse through the Mount Huaguo forest.

And after he caught her, he is gonna throw her on his shoulder, walk away somewhere private and then she's dinner.

His travel companion asked him if it really was necessary to kill every single enemy they encounter, so he decided to push the yaoguai back into the ground

reached chapter 4 in my NG+ and I totally forgot that Zhu Bajie and the Destined One where hiding in a treasure chest at the beginning.

Which means that travel companion would have squeezed into a chest with the Destined One too. Zhu Bajie was nice enough to give the kiddos the space (or lack thereof) and hid himself in a smaller second chest

started out with the Destined One grabbing his Travel Companion and throwing her over his shoulder like a sack of potato before she could get hit.

Deciding that enough is enough she summons her rapier and joins the battle.

ughh I'm still working on her outfit design but I also really like the composition of this wip so maybe I will clean it up and color it??

I also learned that those wooden things are coffins, not chests. I imagine at some point the Destined One and his Travel Companion had to squeeze into a coffin to get across a big body of water or whatever. Tight fit but at least take got some power naps in.

Introducing the latest addition to their team, kiwi the kiwi bird.

Listen. I know kiwi's are native to New Zealand and there is no way there would be on in ancient fantasy chine. But it's fiction and I don't care.

They find an egg one day and when the Destined One wanted to crack the egg on the pan, the egg hatched.

tbh he was just gonna cook the chick right there, but Oz insisted on keeping it.

the joke here is I named my DO Kiwi, and idk kiwi birds are cute too they should get a pet kiwi

I refuse to believe that Sun Wukong is a great drinker. that monkey is a goddman lightweigt. He refuses to admit that, but after three rounds he is completely wasted.

Probably the annoying clingy drunk kinda monkey too ugh. Oz doesn't get drunk, so she's usually on the receiving end of any drunk monkey shenanigans.

One time Sun Wukong insisted that he can drink her under the table. he didn't, his ego is bruised so he showed up one night already tipsy at her door with a jar of wine, demanding rematch

This gotta be so far my favorite miniroth outfit. I love the puffy winter jacket so much (puffyroth hehe)
