🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLLIE AND GITTA ❤️
Oliver Riedel 11.04.1971
"Good comes from friendship, evil comes from fanaticism. The band has always been a thing among friends, that's the only way we got through all the crises." (Photo by Olaf Heine. Quote from SZ Magazine)

Racing DNA: 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ
Some cars are not for everyone due to their value, yet they deserve to be mentioned because they are rare testimonies of a bygone era that can, now, only be perceived through black and white photos in certain books or specialized magazines. This Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ for sale is a rare find, being one of only 169 units produced. Manufactured on January 27, 1961, it was sold to Sergio Sorbi’s…

@sociieties asked: “ you never did tell me why you used to hate me. ” // sz
" oh -- " the question comes unexpectedly. ( he has to rack his brains for a moment where he hated kazuya. ) he closes his magazine, and pushes himself upwards on the couch, head looking over to kazuya whose sitting at his drums. " ooooh. that. " he says again, ( remembering when he got to japan / found makoto / got punched by makoto / bugged makoto about why he was favoring a side / and then, because makoto didn't tell him any more aside from the basics and a 'do not' bugged him about saying his name again. ) he breathes out, and gestures for kazuya to come over, " i wouldn't say hate, exactly. " he starts, soft, " jealous, sure. angry ? definitely. but not hate. "

Release: December 1, 2014
Lyrics:
Partie loin derrière
Sans trop de raisons
Tu m'as laissé hier
La fin de la saison
Je n'veux plus savoir
On s'est éloigné
Tu ne vas plus m'avoir
Et tout est terminé
J'espère que tu vas souffrir
Et que tu vas mal dormir
Pendant ce temps j'vais écrire
Pour demain l'avenir (pour demain l'avenir)
Pour demain l'avenir (pour demain l'avenir)
Partie pour un soir
Juste lui parler
Au fond d'un couloir
Tu voulais aller
Hypocrisie d'un soir
Les verres sont cassés
Envolés les espoirs et nos cœurs défoncés
J'espère que tu vas souffrir
Et que tu vas mal dormir
Pendant ce temps j'vais écrire
Pour demain l'avenir (pour demain l'avenir)
Pour demain l'avenir (pour demain l'avenir)
Partie seule dans la rue
Je cherche mon chemin
Je ne le trouve plus
Il me paraît bien loin
Je t'ai oublié
Tu ne me fais plus rien
Et je pars voyager
En pensant à demain
J'espère que tu vas souffrir
Et que tu vas mal dormir
Pendant ce temps j'vais écrire
Pour demain l'avenir (pour demain l'avenir)
Pour demain l'avenir (pour demain l'avenir)
Songwriter:

SongFacts:
Avenir (French: Future) is the second single and first single release from French singer-actress Louane's debut album Chambre 12. The track was released as an EP on December 1, 2014 and as a download on January 5, 2015. It was released as a CD single in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on October 30, 2015.
The track reached the top of the French singles chart. Avenir reached number 3 in the German single charts, achieved gold status in Germany in December 2015 and even platinum status in February 2017.
In addition to a version in French, a version in English was also released, but the chorus remained in the original language.
Jan Stremmel wrote in SZ Magazin: "The young singer Louane has achieved something very rare with »Avenir«: getting a French song into the German Top 5. […] The recipe for the success of Louane's new hit is its decided homelessness. The lyrics are French - but the trappings are a cloak of deliberately generic electropop. A French Trojan horse.

Day 13 — Favorite Picture Official or Unofficial
Another question about the photos. I like it. There are several official photoshoot that I like. I can mention for example Bryan Adams' photoshoot in 2015 for Zoo Magazine; Olaf Heine's photoshoot for the promotion of Reise Reise in 2004; again Bryan Adams in 2022 on the occasion of the release of the band's eighth album; Andreas Mühe's photoshoot in 2012 on the occasion of the US tour, one for SZ Magazin and the other completely naked; the photoshoot for the Untitled album in 2019 by Jes Larsen; Mike Hutson's photoshoot in 2001; Olaf Heine's photoshoot in 2016 in Brazil; Gottfried Helnwein's mythical photoshoot for Sehnsucht in 1997 and 1998; Eugenio Recuenco's photoshoot for the single Amerika or the album Liebe ist Für Alle Da. And I'm not even talking about Frédéric Batier's photobooks, Jens Koch's exceptional work or Matthias Matthies' all too rare ones !
In short, there are a lot of official photos that I love. Rammstein was lucky enough to work with some very talented professional photographers !
I have selected a few that I particularly like :
Photo taken in 2005 on the very famous Bernauer Strasse, a historical place that perfectly reminds us that Rammstein's history is intimately linked to Germany's. I really like Olaf. If Matthias Matthies is the one who has known the band for the longest time (even before its creation), Olaf is the one who has collaborated the most with Rammstein, be it for live photos or photoshoots.
A photo from P.R Brown's photoshoot at Tommy Guns Barber in New York City in 2010. I find them really beautiful, very classy. It's a bit of an unusual photoshoot, because usually you see the guys either in the studio, in "industrial" locations, or on or near the stage. I don't know the story of this photoshoot, why they took these pictures in this place with these outfits. But the rendering is very classy !
This photo is from Jens Koch's 2019 photoshoot for Rolling Stone magazine. I like to see the guys wearing something other than dark colours. In this case, we are served with this photo, they look (almost) angelic. I like this picture because it's been 4 years since the guys had a photoshoot and 10 years since an album promotion photoshoot. And yet, there they are on top of each other, still united. Well, Richard seems more united with his Till, even downright possessive, but they all seem happy to be together and that's what counts !
That's it for the official photos. For the unofficial photos, there are two that I love :
This one of Motor Vertrieb taken at a tug-of-war competition and featured in the late Gert Hof's "band biographical" book. Just because Till and Paul make me burst out laughing every time I see it.
And this one by Danny Uhlmann in 2017 at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. It's so rare to see the six of them doing (off-stage) activities that it's touching. And I'm adding a heart to this photo for skin care !
