today was one coworker’s last day and another coworker has been out sick and mother’s day is in TWO WEEKS *KLAXONS*
and I still have the entire 2nd batch of peppers (and some tomatoes yet!!) to transplant, except I need to collate and run trays through the hopper first to have something to transplant INTO, except there’s no room to put those trays down bc the first batch of peppers are still on the bench, bc the coworker who’s been out hasn’t been in to move stuff that’s in the area where I usually build pallet tables in the hoophouse, and I haven’t been able to move that stuff bc I’ve been planting tomatoes and squash seeds and stomping cabbage moths and filling the already-made tables with pots of broccoli and tomatoes and onions and things
#in like. my heart. I am laying in the cold mud behind the perennial tables#don't look for me. let me feed the big tree in the corner. someone else can water all the annual flats.#nah uh it's just gonna be a busy month and I am achy and live to complain. we're getting a bunch of annuals in tmrw#and it is nice to see all the little plants. the leafs. the little flowers. once it warms up there's always syrphid flies hanging out. cute.#once I can get the dang peppers planted I will be dancing around so happy you don't even know
