Not exactly the reunion he had in mind and can he and Sydney finally confront their feelings for each other or are their worlds too different? Winter Young is a famous pop star, he's just released his new album and but he has only one thing on his mind: Sydney Cosette. Winter can't stop thinking about the time he spent with his bodyguard/secret agent while working on a mission and the kiss they shared... and now it's been a year without her. He doesn't know if or when he'll ever see her again. With the news that someone close to him is writing a tell-all book about him without his permission and the fact that his own ex has showed up at his door asking to spend time... his life is messy.. and to add on top of that Sydney is back in his life and he has been called to do another mission with her.... to help her rescue her ex. When Sydney shows up at his door with a new mission from Panacea, he has no choice but to accept... and the mission requires that he have a date for the public event and with Sydney pushing that it cant be her and that he take his ex... he now has to bring her along too. Yet the mission only gets more complicated when Tems shows up definitely not needing to be rescued but on a separate mission of his own... and now Sydney and Winter will have to find a way to stop a sinister group of traitors, save each other, and try and make it out alive and finally face the feelings they have for each other. Can a pop star and a spy really make it or are they too different from the beginning? When I had first read Stars and Smoke I loved it and definitely did not think it would be getting a sequel but oh boy did I have a blast with this sequel and I adored that ending for these two characters. I would love love LOVE a third book with Sydney and Winter and to get to see their relationship grow even more. I love that despite how different their lives are, they truly love and support one another no matter what. I had fun with all the twists and turns in this book and I just adored the relationship between the two main characters. This was such a fun series and I sincerely hope these characters get another book!

Rugby World Cup 2019: Media reacts to Owen Franks' omission from All Blacks' squad

World rugby has reacted with disbelief at the naming of the All Blacks squad for the World Cup in Japan – with many leading media organisations and fans expressing shock at the decision to exclude 108-cap veteran Owen Franks.

Franks, Liam Squire and Ngani Laumape were the most noticeable absentees from the 31-man squad named in Auckland this afternoon, with Fox Sports calling the trio’s omission “ruthless” under the headline All Bl-axed! 144 caps gone as ruthless NZ run a knife through World Cup squad.

The site also suggested head coach Steve Hansen was taking a risk by including only two specialist first-fives in Beauden Barrett and Richie Mo’unga.

“There are just two specialist five-eighths named, with Hansen banking on Beauden Barrett and Richie Mo’unga enjoying an injury-free run,” Fox Sports reported.

AFP and the roar.com.au called Franks’ axing a “shock omission”, while the former expressed some surprise at the inclusion of seasoned utility back Ben Smith despite some recent poor form.

AAP’s line was about “sentimentality being cast aside in the name of speed”, as Franks was replaced by the more mobile Atu Moli, with the Syndey Morning Herald describing it as a “major bombshell“.

The mass interest in the squad was evident when the All Blacks’ official website crashed shortly after the announcement and the hashtags #RWC2019, #AllBlacks and #NewZealand soared to the top of Twitter’s trending topics.

Unsurprisingly, fans took to social media to voice their opinions on the selections – with Franks’ absence a hot topic.

“No Owen Franks!” one user wrote with a shocked face emoji. “Understandable but you have to feel for the man, cruel game this.”

“Incredible that the @AllBlacks have deemed 108-cap Owen Franks surplus to requirements. He’d probably start for just about every other country, yet won’t be at the @rugbyworldcup this autumn,” another wrote.

Many fans were equally puzzled by No 12 Laumape missing the cut with Jack Goodhue, Sonny Bill Williams, Ryan Crotty and Anton Lienert-Brown all preferred in midfield.

All Blacks legend Dan Carter was quick to congratulate the selected team while offering his sympathy for those who didn’t.

“Rugby World Cups are where dreams are made. A special congratulations to all the boys selected for the @allblacks RWC squad. Commiserations to the guys that missed out. The work starts now #letsgooo #allblackeverything,” he wrote on Twitter.

The All Blacks will play South Africa, Canada, Namibia and Italy in pool matches starting on September 21, before heading into the knockout rounds.

Angel stares down at the woman, almost sneering down at her. Oh, how humans infuriated her. How she was once split among two of them made her feel dirty.

But she was free now. And first order of business; get rid of Leona Carter. She didn't know why Rikki wanted her gone, she barely even put up a fight. Seemed weak, in Angel's eyes. But an order is an order.

"You should've stayed with Tempest, " Angel hummed, "There's nothing they could've done to you that will amount to what I will do to you."

Leona barely reacted as the hand of shadows encased around her throat tightened. She didn't even whimper.

"Not going to say anything?" Angel was greeted once again by silence, and her frown deepened. "Well. You had your-"

Angel snapped her mouth shut, narrowing her eyes at the human which looked so calm, so resigned. She held Leona's gaze, and it finally clicked. Her eyes were wrong.

"You are not Leona."

Now this got a reaction. It was minuscule, but still something. "Leona's" eyes widened a fraction. And a grin spread across Angel's face.

And Marie finally felt the fear settle into her stomach as the hand around her throat squeezed more, and the illusion finally shattered. "You're going to pay for this little trick, human. Though, if I recall... You do mean a lot to Leona. It'd be a shame if something happened to you, and Leona watched, unable to help..." Angel laughed to herself. "Oh! Rikki is going to be thrilled! Finally, some entertainment on this dreadful waste of a planet."
