स्वच्छता पर क्रेंद्रित फिल्�� ‘मेरे प्यारे प्राइम मिनिस्टर’ को लेकर काफी दिनों से एक विवाद बना हुआ है. राइटर मनोज मैरता ने फिल्म में क्रेडिट ना देने का आरोप लगाया है. ये मामला कोर्ट तक पहुंचा है. आज यानी बुधवार को बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट में इसी मामले के तहत नोर्देशक राकेश ओमप्रकाश मेहरा की पेशी होनी है. सुनवाई जस्टिस जीएस कुलकर्णी की सिंगल बेंच करेगी.

बता दें कि इससे पहले स्क्रीन राइटर्स एसोसिएशन की डिस्प्यूट सेटलमेंट कमेटी मनोज के हक में फैसला सुना चुकी है. रोम फिल्म फेस्टिवल में फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग कर दी गई है. मनोज का आरोप है कि फिल्म में उनका नाम बतौर स्क्रीन राइटर नहीं दिया जा रहा है. जबकि स्टोरी और स्क्रीनप्ले उनका है.

क्रेडिट में हुसैन दलाल और राकेश का नाम जोड़ा जा रहा है. मनोज ने कहा है कि फिल्म में उनका नाम स्टोरी राइटर के तौर पर दिया जा रहा है. जबकि करार के अनुसार स्क्रीन राइटर के तौर पर उनका नाम होना चाहिए.

इस पूरे मामले पर राकेश का कहना है, ‘मनोज ने सिर्फ फिल्म की वन लाइनर मेकर्स को दी थी. उसे मैंने, हुसैन के साथ मिलकर डेवलप किया था. इसी कारण क्रेडिट लिस्ट में मेरा और हुसैन का नाम है.’

क्या है फिल्म की कहानी?

फिल्म की कहानी एक बच्चे के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है. बच्चा अपने परिवार के लिए शौचालय बनवाने के लिए अखबार बेचना शुरू करता है. इसके लिए वो पीएम को भी खत लिखता है. फिल्म 8 मार्च को रिलीज होगी.

बता दें कि मैरता ने राकेश को लीगल नोटिस भेजते हुए कहा था, “फिल्म में राकेश उन्हें क्रेडिट दे रहे हैं या नहीं. और अगर नहीं दे रहे हैं तो उसे लिखित में जवाब दें. ऐसा नहीं हुआ तो वे कोर्ट जाएंगे.”
