First of all, i wish you happy holidays and a happy new year! U.N. Owen Was Her was the song that got me into Touhou in the first place, so i have always loved the song a lot, and it's true that there are a lot of arranges of it already, but i felt like i could bring something new to the table by playing around with what the song could be molded into, just like i did in 2018 for Cirno's theme for Cirno Day, i wanted to experiment with how Flandre's theme could be changed to be new and fresh, yet while still being recogniseable and familiar, so i wanted to aim for a Touhou 12-ish inspired style, focussing on some of my favourite elements from that game's music, such as the jazz elements like the progressive time signatures, abundance of key changes, and a bigger emphasis on instruments like the hybrid saw and reed romance on the SD-90, in a way, the saw waves here serves kind of like a replacement for Flandre's usual square waves, which is a bit of a metaphor for the arrange as a whole; a new and different take on Flandre's theme, but also trying to respect the nostalgia and uniqueness of what made UFO's music feel fun and memorable. There are a lot of references and leitmotifs hidden thorough the arrange, can you find them all? Itsuna Nanistherre, Bard of the Soulfilled Skies 15 January 2025 is the 10th anniverssary since i designed her, so happy early birthday to itsuna! She has come a long way, she's still my favourite OC 2015 VS 2025 comparision under the read more!

Let's compare! Left = 2015, first time i drew her Right = 2025, i drew her a few minutes ago!

She has grown as a person and experienced many things in these 10 years, and she will keep going and experience more too! I want to expand more on my OC's lore this year, so look forward to that~!

My art journey has been a long one too huh? I really like how my artstyle has evolved I'm particularly proud of that i found my own artstyle that feels unique to me, inspired by both western and eastern influences

Lunette Memoria is back! I haven't drawn her since 2014, she has grown a lot This was her theme song back in the day;

It's been 10 years, a lot has changed, she still has the power to feel other's irritation, but she has learned how to surpress it She still uses it to help others sometimes though

Mephillia Alteracia is back in 2024! I haven't drawn her since i designed her in 2021 Original 2021 design and lore info under "keep reading"

This was her 2021 design for her theme song

Lore: Mephillia Alteracia is a fairy with the ability to manipulate universes This is very overpowered, but thankfully, she has no ambition to use it She loves collecting (and creating) early 00's MIDI's (and late 90's and early 00's MIDI sound modules) She can appear out of nowhere sometimes and disappear as if she has never existed in the first place (not even in your memory, altough you might have some vague memories about her that she could have forgotten to erase since she is kinda lazy with that) She can also alter her own appearance by changing the universe's perception of her Have you ever heard a random MIDI file in an early 00's flash game but you are never able to find it again? Mephillia might be behind it She has made some small cameos in obscure things i've made, that's just a thing she can do apparantly Oh she's not evil by the way, she's just a little ditzy witzy and loves lying in the grass across multiple timelnes simulatniously and perpendicularly just so she can feel the breeze in infinite ways, to nap or something And then when she has the energy she likes to play on her MIDI guitar and maybe make another WIP to add to her other 999 WIP's (unfortunately she considers creating a universe where she finishes the wip's to be cheating, so she doesn't do that (hopefully she finishes more songs one day though, i'd love to hear more, but she should take her time of course))

This is her 2024 redesign, the last time i draw her was in 2019 Much has changed since then! She has grown her hair out and she has decided to become a historian, she travels the world looking to record its lost history for future generations More info under the read more!

Oh by the way, just so ya'll know; The stories of Graceful Danmaku Festival (2016) and Strawberry Heaven Conquest (2018) have been retconned In the case of Strawberry Heaven Conquest, it straigh up doesn't exist anymore Graceful Danmaku Fesitval is totally different

The big retcon changes in Graceful Danmaku Festival's story are;

There's no guns

Anabelle doesn't exist

Setsuya doesn't reference Metal Gear Solid

Shinui is still from another universe, but it's not the same one as Anabelle's

Itsuna gets high instead of drinking alcohol

Okay so now that we have that out of the way, let's continue

The most important thing is that 8 years have passed since the events of Graceful Danmaku Festival Setsuya isn't an edgy stresser anymore She has longer hair now, and she has become a historian She's not enemies with Itsuna anymore I'm really proud of the modern redesign!
