“Apparently,” said Sylas, with a rueful smirk upon his stubbled face, “She’s a genius, after her own manner, especially that oh-so-dreadful technology flaunted by the City of Progress that combines the mechanical and the arcane…” Lux stared at him, and then at the strange girl, who could not be more than her own age, but whose mien mixed a heady cocktail of lethal predator, playful child, and unstable creature of chaos. “And they threw you in with her?” Lux furrowed her brow, “Or her with you?” “They threw us in together!” Jinx sang, “I think they just wanted to stick two mad dogs in a cage and find out if we’re gonna fight or fu-” “Jinx, please,” Sylas groaned. “Guards had bets! Reckon they need to get laid more, cuz they really seemed keen on encouraging us to kill each other,” said Jinx, bobbing her head in a nod, “See? They only gave us one bucket!” “Oh?” Lux gave a thin smile, “Well, then, since you’re both still here, I suppose you chose…” She didn’t know why she was asking such a petty question in such a dire circumstance. What does it even matter? Who was she even jealous of…? “Neither, as it turns out,” said Sylas, deadpan, “We’re doing what all prisoners would reasonably do.” “Planning our escape!” said Jinx. Sylas sighed deeply and rubbed his temples in a clink of chains.

Infiltrating a Demacian prison to visit her friend Sylas, Lux is smitten with his mysterious new cellmate, Jinx. But why does the girl keep asking her to bring her flowers? And what kind of plan are Jinx and Sylas concocting between them...?

Mageseeker a League of Legends Release Date is Very, Very Soon

Riot Forge has announced the release date for The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Tale, and it will be available very soon. This 2D RPG game tells the tale of rival Demacian mages Sylas and Lux. Both gameplay and pre-orders have been revealed for Mageseeker, as the Digital Sun-developed game was announced last month, but now we have a firm Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story release date. The 2D hi-bit pixel action RPG game will let you “raise a rogue mage army and lead a revolution,” according to Riot Forge, and it looks to be the perfect companion to Airship Syndicate’s Ruined King turn-based RPG. Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story will be available on PC via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and also on consoles starting April 18, 2023. It will cost $29.99 USD / £24.99 GBP for the standard edition, and $39.99 USD for the digital deluxe edition. You can also get the Lost Silverwing as a pre-order bonus. Vladimir had a feeling that the martyr would make the same mistake again. But thankfully he was quicker than the last time. Knowing that the other simply needed to touch someone to take their powers. The one time had caused the demon within him to become agitated. 

They were merely discussing plans once more and he saw his hand raised to be placed on his shoulder. The mage could have stepped aside but he felt anger and slapped him across the face. Most likely wanting him to know the consequences if he chose to do it again.

Lips surrounded by some dark rough stubble curled. Disdain shadowing the sharp gloomy wrinkled face. Jarvan could consider himself lucky to be out of reach right now.

“You’re insulting me. You’re insulting us, he spat back, eyebrows furrowed, face contorting in anger. What we want is clear. Your head on a stick and the fall… the extinction of your house ! Change will only happen in blood ! We already shed ours ! But you, you never did ! It’s your turn !”

An anger making his blood boil inhabiting him. But he contained it for he was surrounded by his disciples. And a Savior couldn’t allow furor to overcome him in front of his flock. Or he’d have scared them.

“The change you desire to see will not come through if blood is spilt,” Jarvan replied calmly, projecting his voice as he was taught to. “I understand that Demacia has a history of treating her mages with unfair prejudice, and this is something that I, too, wish to see changed. You must understand - if you force the people to bend to your will, then they will see this only as treachery and tyranny. While they may obey in your presence, your hold over them will snap the moment they break free. They will never accept your truth as their own, but as the lies of a man drunk on power.”

EDIT: okay so i did some light research on communism to see what the fuss was about and actually?

so apparently a thing about communism is that it eliminates social classes? so with his quotes such as “no more lords and peasants” stuff that’s why they gave him that label? if so, i guess it makes more sense than i expected.

but still, i think communist seems like too extreme of a label for him. probably because another thing that makes it different from socialism is its economic policy? and as far as i can tell sylas could care less about economics and shit like that. so if we were going off his quotes of equality for all he could be considered a socialist too.

so td;lr it makes more sense than i thought why everyone’s calling him a communist. but he still didn’t particularly strike me as that. more as almost like a fighter for civil rights and what not, with the goal to “demolish the oppressive system that has made them suffer for so long” (that quote taken directly from his universe lore)

            ⧉ A smooth and pleased chuckle came from the mage, holding dark intents as he was excited to see what kind of battles would happen after Demacia’s war with itself. How many lands would burn and become nothing? How many lives would be lost until a truce would unfold until another war would take place? All these things were all entertaining when one would seek triumph over the other. 

            ⧉ He only asked because he would be greatly disappointed if this man, so blinded by his own hatred, if he were to suddenly fall so soon. A shame that there was much more planned for this one that would die by assassination.
