The series, along with Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) appearance in the MCU Spider-Man: No Way Home, bridged the gap between the Netflix Daredevil universe and the revival series Daredevil: Born Again. Vincent D'Onofrio continued his role from the Netflix era as the Kingpin. The comic book character Echo (Maya Lopez) , played by Alaqua Cox, was introduced into the MCU in the Hawkeye mini series.
