Kaiba entered the place Ryou worked and calmly took a seat. It was a nice place he had no idea Ryou was the one working here though. Eyes finally glance up and noticed the familar white hair.

Now he knew of the ring spirit. But this wasn't him so he calmly waited to be noticed by Ryou. This must be where he worked most of the time. "Is that you...Ryou?"

Ryou gave a gentle sigh, walking home from yet another 14-hour shift when he ended up bumping into someone by mistake.

"Oh, dreadfully sorry. Are you alright?" He asked, looking at the other with concern as he spoke.

The taller figure turned, cocking their head to one side. Their face— well, it was obscured, just a black wooden mask that vaguely resembled a fox with jagged, protruding teeth.

Aishya’s ears pricked up, unfolding their clawed hands from their robes.

“Kekeke! Better watch where you step, morsel!” The kitsune tittered. “Don’t you know that very hungry things come out at this time of night?”

Souji was glad for the both of them so close, holding him together because there was no way he could do so on his own. "Y-yes... It's... so much!!!" Stretched beyond what he thought possible, their warmth, the solidness of their bodies pressed against him, Souji felt helpless against them, shivering and squealing.

@sxcondchxnceduelists Farouk gave a low growl, but he knew when he was beat. There was no point in fighting on now, it was better for his survival to surrender. Dropping to one knee to try and regain his own breath, he gritted his teeth, infuriated that he'd lost. Still, he decided that whatever fate awaited him, there was nothing more he could do to stop it.

This was...going to be his hardest challenge yet, and he already knew it. He genuinely didn't know how much the other remembered, if anything at all. Or if this was supposed to be the person that he was facing.

He had a feeling that this was too easy. Despite how hard he'd fought. If it was this simple, it would already be over.

Imagine him worshipping you like a god. Didn’t your folks tell you to make new friends?” Malik asked, ignoring the lonely question. “You got any food in this place?”

Tonight was game night for the four of them, and Yugi had decided it was time to possibly risk their relationship with a game of Uno.  He and Joey would often play with Honda, Anzu, Ryou, and any of their other friends, and while Atem would watch invisibly over Yugi’s shoulder, he never felt comfortable taking over to play.  He already got to take over during duels.  It wouldn’t feel right taking away the casual, fun moments Yugi had with his friends.

They all looked up at Joey as he fell.  Yugi and Atem winced at the impact, but Seto didn’t seem phased.  He just huffed, set down his cards, and stood up.

“My move,” he signed and circled around the table.  “I activate my spell card: Puppy Scruff.”  He grabbed the back of Joey’s shirt with his prosthetic and lifted him off the ground so his feet were dangling underneath him and they were looking each other in the eyes.

"Oh! Seto!" Atem was bundled up in what looked like a double layer coat, along with a scarf. He wasn't a fan of the cold, but he'd more than brave the cold to see his favorite ranch outside of Domino. Everyone had been talking about the "Holidays" and this "New Year" celebration that was coming up. So, naturally Atem's first thought would be to celebrate it with those that are close to him. Mainly... Seto.

"Did you have a good... what was it again... ah! Christmas?"
