Souji shivered a little. It was still so much to get used to. He only looked up at Hansuke for a moment, the silence that followed making him regret speaking so boldly.  His eyes darted away for a moment, long enough for when he turned back to look, Hansuke was suddenly so close.  He flushed bright, their heads touching, and as the CEO spoke, Souji smiled again, softer and shier than before.  “I would... really like that...”

At first it was a need to assure the man that no one should be lonely, the money not withstanding, but now... it felt as if the stipend was a barrier to what he really wanted with Hansuke... a true connection.  Being paid made it cheap, somehow.
