#swtor is such a timesink

I really wanna do the SWTOR expansions because that's a lot of what people meme and talk about and I want to get it. Also because I've got plans for how my different OCs might interact with Lana and Theron, or how they might react to various story beats that I've spoiled for myself.

But I still haven't done it because I've only got so much time and I'll probably only do the expansions with one character, so it's gotta be the right character. Which is currently none of the characters that are done with their stories.

Specifically A'la'zena is done, but she's gone radio silent and refuses to work overtly for the Empire again or do anything as high profile as the stuff you do in the expansions. Periflynn is done but I'm just not as excited to play with him as other characters for multiple reasons that would take too long to summarize here.

And everyone else isn't done yet and so I'm going to have to A) pick a character to commit to for a very long time and many expansions, and B) play through the entire class story with them before even starting on the expansions. Too much activation energy for my low energy ADHD brain...

Of all the MMOs I have played (Swtor, ESO, WoW, Gw2, lotro, ff14) ff14 is the worst PURELY for the fact you HAVE to do all the old content before you can do current content; even if you're overleveled for the old stuff and at level for the new stuff.

It makes it such a timesink for someone who is more casual and jm sorry if your game doesn't at least try to be casual player friendly its bad
