STUDIO SESSION with our friend and producer Jim Hollingsworth. My pu'uwai is full. The last 2 albums I wrote and recorded drained everything from me, including my hope to one day put out music in which everything about it is good and right and natural, and something that I can be proud of. This time around I'll be calling the shots instead of being told to "shut up and sing" or "can you sing this song like this or that singer or artist" by a bunch of "high makamaka" dudes, even when it's a song I wrote smh.
