Sweet Fest Mini Event 2021

In honor of the slightly belated 20th anniversary of Sweet we are having a mini fest! For anything and everything related to Pete/Stich or Noelian in relation to Sweet.

Timeline:

Prompts will be released August 7th

Anyone can claim any prompt, for writing (2k min) art or other! (more details on claiming to come)

It starts out sometime pre-canon but the last scene is sometime post-canon. Idk, I wasn't thinking too hard about the timeline. Just these two idiots being in love.

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: The Mighty Boosh RPF, Sweet (2000) Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Julian Barratt & Noel Fielding Characters: Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding Additional Tags: Pre-Relationship, Sexual Content, Nudity, but not serious enough I thought it needed an M, mentions of certain scenes in Sweet, Internal Monologue Summary:

“No!” Noel scoffs. “I meant tomorrow, Ju. When everyone else goes off for my scenes, ‘clears the set,’ or whatever you called it.” The protest fades from his voice, replaced again by softness. His gaze drops. “Could you stay?”

The smartest thing would be to say ‘no.’ It’s not only smart; it’s easier than ‘yes.’ ‘Yes’ is complicated. It’s that extra letter that does it. Julian blames the Y, mostly.

Sweet Fest Claiming Rules & Prompts!

Hello everyone! We are so excited to have you participating in Sweet Fest! I know y'all are excited for the prompts and we are excited to see what you create! So without further a do

How do I claim a prompt?

Simply add your name to the writer/artist column next to the prompt! We are allowing multiple people to claim the same prompt so please do not delete anyone else’s claim.

Can I claim more than one prompt?

You can claim as many prompts as you like! Please try your best to complete all the prompts you claim!

Will writers be paired with artists, and vice versa?

The booshfest won’t be pairing writers and artists, as it puts a burden on the small number of fandom artists we have. However, you are welcome to form a collaboration with a friend.

What if I want to collaborate with a second writer, or a second artist?

Go for it!

Can more than one person or team claim the same prompt?

We want to encourage people to pick up prompts that have not yet been chosen, but if you’re in love with an idea that’s been chosen by someone else, you’re welcome on board. Two cakes!

What if I have an idea that isn’t on the prompt list?

All ideas are welcome as long as they fall within the theme of the event. Make up your own prompt!

What are the rules for the fanfics/fan art?

There are no firm rules for this fest. However some general guidelines you can keep in mind are:

Try and keep fanfics around 2k ( if you have more to write feel free but you don’t have to write a novel! )

Fan art can be more than drawing - you can make edits, playlists, collages, you name it!

How does posting work?

When you have finished your fan work you can post to either tumblr or AO3.

If you post on tumblr please tag the @booshfest blog so we can reblog your work and share it!

If you post on ao3 use this link to post to our SweetFest collection (https://archiveofourown.org/collections/SweetFest2021/works/new) or simply search for SweetFest2021 in collections as you are creating your new work

When can I post?

As soon as you are done writing feel free to go ahead and post, we will be accepting all submissions on a rolling basis!
