oh, buddy, if i counted EVERY daydream i had as a different au we would be here for a while lmfao; ill list the most unique ones ive been meaning to write that may or may not just stay daydreams 🙈

video game moments au: eridan and sollux find themselves both stuck in virtual reality and forced to beat video games together. they end up being dumbasses and get into stupid shenanigans in places such as spore, ib, the stanley parable, etc (im not shitting you when i say that this has been in my head since about 2014-2015 lmao)

the absurd bathroom au: humanstuck, the beta trolls all live in one big house, and eridan has his own bathroom to himself on the top floor. somehow, eridan and sollux end up in the habit of playing the worlds longest and gayest game of simon says in the form of sollux kissing eridans face, and adding a new kiss to the pattern every second day; this au is mostly just a domestic au with the erisol being a little bit ridiculous on the side <3

the streamer au: another humanstuck, this one is mostly just me thinking of what type of streamer types all the beta trolls and beta kids would be, mixed with eridan and sollux being gayasses as the main focus; key moments include "eridan commits among us imposter betrayal on sollux for the bit" and sollux recreating the octodad amazon arcade as an interactive vr map for eridan

zombiestuck au: the gist of it? eridan fucks around and finds out in the apocalypse, gets cut in half and zombified, yet he stays perfectly aware and lucid. after he hand-walks all the way back to sollux at their little base, they have to figure out how to balance wanting to be around each other while eridan practically shits his missing pants at the idea of accidentally biting sollux lmfao

cape world au: eridan has gone missing on earth C, and sollux finds out he's been hiding away from everyone in a pocket dimension he's sewn into his capes. as eridan tries to both shoo sollux out yet hide further into the dimension from him, sollux snoops around and learns more about himself and eridan through their ties to erisolsprite.

honorable mentions go to the pokemon au where they are shiny hunters, the splatoon 2 au where they throw at turf war or some shit, and the undertale au where they take the character slots of mettaton and alphys and MPSA reader is a special guest to be the frisk of the au lol

so in "the magic of wings" (TMOW for short) the setting is on a sentient planet called siatchos; a very rocky, mountainous type of planet with three main island grottos. the quote unquote "world leaders" are called the grotto supervisors-- young roklain individuals who have just graduated schooling, who may volunteer to be a supervisor up until the age of 20, where they will then have a new supervisor appointed in their place. the current supervisors are:

kulliope: kulliope is 18, and has an interest in tabletop games. she is in charge of off-planet contacts, working with other planets in trading, providing, and storing resources or entertainment for each other when need be. she has a sweet and gentle outward appearance, with a contrasting passion in her personality.

erodin samwynn; erodin is 19, and has an interest in history. he is in charge of sorting and tagging off-planet media so it can fit into their internet's filtering system. erodin is a nervous guy! he's the type to hold back a bit before making a firm decision.

soilios skyleght: soilios is 17, and has an interest in plants. they are in charge of checking on any information given in by the people of siatchos, like events, discoveries, ideas, concerns, etc. soilios is somewhat reclusive, needing a lot of time to recharge between loud or hectic events.

as it stands, grotto supervisors are given housing near their respective grottos; historically, only the grotto supervisor of the house properly lives there, while family or friends can visit or sleep over when need be. in erodin's case, his boyfriend "lives" with him in secret:

alos verampar: alos is 18, and used to volunteer at a daycamp. after getting killed in an accident, he came to as a ghost, and managed to make his way back to erodin. the only people who know that alos is not completely gone are the grotto supervisors and their immediate families. alos is friendly and affectionate, and is able to get along with almost anybody.

ohhhh there are lots and lots and lots and lots. if i HAVE to pick one i think right now i'll go with still by the cliks? had a desperate moment a while back in august where i was like "dear GOD i need to find trans men who sing different genres" and managed to stumble into this song lmao

ohhh you know what? originally i was going to say got to my head by WATERS, but i just remembered i can say robophobia by electric president; this song is one that i ONLY found because i found it by chance through flipnote hatena; i remember that it was the last 26 seconds of the song that was used, and the vague key movements the flipnote had in its little animation, but i cant remember the actual flipnote for the life of me tbh!

oooo i have an oc who i think might be particularly songifyable! they are a violetblood thief of heart named pax, they want to be Unique and Special and have All of the attention so they present themselves as the opposite of a normal seadweller (ie: theyre kind of a mom friend - particularly to their two idiot auspices - and repress their anger all the time for better or for worse) and in their current state theyre on the edge of discovering the crisis of "even if i do make a solid impact on the world, if i'm just pretending to be a good and friendly person, does it even count?"

now i don't know how close the vibes will be, but whenever i think of repressed anger, carry me by crooks & nannies tends to pop up! its just, GOD the part that happens right after 1:30 with the anguish in the wailing, immediately followed with picking the cheery chorus back up like nothing happened?? secondly! way back in may i discovered a song by zammuto i liked, and i recently ventured into listening to more of their songs; i think their song it can feel so good might be a good pick! the sampled vocals mention hearts and water, and the voice is soothing in a way that i would honestly describe as motherly haha

and as a little bonus; i couldn't find the original version on youtube, but there's this SNES version of axolotl in a bottle by anthropomorphic cinnamon sticks! the song has a very fun vibe that i associate with heart players lol

ooh, thats trickier than i first expected; my first thought was 104 degrees by slaughter beach and dog, but the song's sound is not inherently summer, its a warm feeling while driving at midnight that happens to not be during winter 🤔
