One of my favorite things about Fantasy High is how much the bad kids geniunely love and are obsessed with each other. They are such a wonderful found family I will kill, die and live for you group and it makes me so happy. But there is something about the specific dynamics of Fabian/Adaine, Fig/Gorgug and Riz/Kristen as pairs of friends, like all their canon little moments and all fics/fanart about them make me FERAL in the best sense possible. Like these pairs just have both a specific kinda of comedy to them but also such wonderful and poetic way the characters can relate and help each other that just resonates so well and deep with me. And like there is beautiful and profound and also just cute and sweet and funny stuff to be said about any combination of bad kids bc their friendship and group is that good but to me those three are elite for a reason I cannot explain just feel but I read fics that hit me hard today and made this post

Though I am curious and i hope you'll able to respond, do you have advice to make my art for merchandise in the future? I don't mind if you want to simplified explaination, a tumblr posts, or dropping a youtube link video; since you're busy with conventions.

I'm picky when it comes youtube art videos that are always give me the vibes of elitism, clickbait videos or others. You're the first artist I wanted to ask, so i hope it's fine if you can reply or not.

apologies for the confusion, though! the pokemon shirts arent mine! i share a joint storefront with my friend and tablemate, you can view all his designs here! we have our store bio set to say we are two artists, but it's hard to see on the shopee site format, haha. i'll pass this message along to him, and i hope you can buy his shirts in the future too, they're very well made! i'm glad your brother enjoys them!

i assume you're PH based aswell if your brother got our shirts, so i'm gonna link some resources and basic advice under the cut-

i'd be glad to help where i can, though my basic advice is to just start.. i began selling merch with dann (friend who made the pokemon shirts) when we were just classmates in college, and we started at small anime events selling small prints with our table falling apart hahajkfghjk.. but even back then everyone was so friendly, so it was very encouraging !! the art community is very sweet and there is a lot of support for you !!

first, you'll want to find your market! this will determine what conventions you want to apply to and what kind of merch you want to make. do you want to make fanart, or original art? are you doing mostly stickers, tote bags, or anime merch? or do you just want to sell online?

second, what is your budget for merch production? starting out is expensive, personally my funds always circulate between profit and spending on restocks again. this will determine what kind of merch you can make, and then you expand later! i started out with only stickers and art prints, then keychains, and then bags and t-shirts later on!

if you're into original art, some events i recommend for beginners are Patrons of the Arts, Buzzart, Komiket. they have regular events throughout the year. if you're into stickers, there's Stickercon and Sticky Expo!

if you're into fan art, you can try ozinefest (sales are slower but table cost is cheaper), or if you have enough money, split for cosplay ph events

of course these aren't the only events, though they're the ones i regularly attend! if you have a more specialized market, there are dedicated cons like philifur, the grand lason, pokecon, etc. for all of these events you'll either have to keep your eyes peeled for table openings on their pages (rare), or email them to be added to their mailing list so you'll be told when they're open

if you don't have any suppliers yet, you can apply to join Artist Alley Group Order on facebook ! people regularly post about suppliers for all kinds of merchandise that you can look up. if you want any recommendations you can message me off-anon!

as for the merchandise itself, this varies person to person. my market is more obscure fanart that other people don't sell, and cutesy original art! i sell big illustrations as prints, though other people report on having a hard time selling prints. it depends on the content and art style. you'll have to experiment and see, or look around other shops to see what sells! visiting art markets yourself is also a huge help, to see the market, make friends in the artph community, and support artists!

i'd recommend starting out with stickers and prints- they're the cheapest to produce, and people often buy stickers because of their low price at cons. when you get more familiar with the market you can try going onto more expensive things to reproduce!

again if you want details, let me know! this is very vague and general advice, if u have any specific questions i'll do my best if i'm not busy! don't be afraid to surf thru some videos too, a lot are very helpful n not too elitist!

Jazz: he starts speaking Deutsch to mess with others (especially prowl) sometimes. No one knows why. (Not even I know why, one day it just hit me and I accepted this weird thought. Also I like the thought of him having a weird accent while speaking deutsch)

Megatron: second best dancer other than Soundwave within the Decepticons. I'd like to think Soundwave taught him (i always insert a little sentence that recalls this on my works lol) I think it would be cute if sometimes when they have nothing to do they have their own evenings where they dance and listen to music together as friends :3. Their cute sleepovers where no one is crazy and they just chill out :)

I gotta say Hector. He's just such a complicated character and I love how he is an antagonist (not a bad guy!). Plus his undying loyalty and unique character design are other great qualities of him as well!

I HC Quirin is the oldest simply because he seems the most mature to me.

I HC that Hector is the youngest, but only by like a year. I don't really have a specific reason why, just my gut feeling.

Ooh, this is a hard one...I would think some kind of bird. I imagine she'd like a companion that could travel easily with her, but can also be independent without her.

Some post series HC's I have are Hector, Adira, & Quirin having a good moment together (having lived through that finale!). Also that Quirin and Varian visit the DK frequently to help them out and visit their family. Also Edmund finally having a good talk with the Brotherhood and expressing his gratitude to them.

Pre series HC's would be Hector having a partner he was dedicated to, but left for his assignment to the Great Tree. It's just something I can see him doing and I like the angst of it haha.

I HC that the Brotherhood met as orphans that got trained. They all had talents as warriors so they got promoted to the Brotherhood.

In my fic I've named Hector's bear cats Nyx and Delia. For reference, Delia is the nicer of the two (and the one that let Shorty on her back on the Great Tree episodes) and Nyx is more defensive and harder to befriend.

I think all three of the Brotherhood have dated each other at some point. Also that them being an OT3 is a big possibility.

I do think they should continue the Brotherhood, but change their purpose. Until the DK is restored, they need an elite force to help out with getting the DK back on its feet. After that it could be more of a ceremonial thing or a way to pass down traditions rather than be an actual fighting force.

Honestly ANYTHING. I'm still upset they hardly interacted with one another. -.-

Soon after I finished the series. When I started looking for fanart I found Pennumbra, Mo, & Xannerz's art and it was all downhill from there.

I really like a lot of Pennumbra's HC's about Hector, especially from his time in the Great Tree. Just the idea of him being out like that and alone for so long and how it would have affected him. It really fascinates me. Specifically, after getting back to civilization how he would struggle to eat sweets or anything with a lot of flavor.

I hadn't thought about Cid being interrogated like that but it makes sense! As for Crosshair, what about this: They made a point of showing that Rampart learned that the Batch was alive, now that he's imprisoned he spills those beans, and they figure that interrogating Crosshair might be a good way to try and figure out where they are so they can get Omega.

Yeah, unknowns are scary, but I'm sure as I do more research, take some classes, and get some experience things will feel a lot better. Then it'll just be a matter of getting jobs! hahaha! My gosh there are SO many different British accents! It can be hard to pin some of them down, make sure you're getting the sounds and inflections right... One weird thing with me is sort of mixing up or switching between Scottish/Irish when I'm trying to do one, or Aussie and Kiwi as well! One thing I find helps me is just listening to videos on youtube or finding movies/TV shows of people speaking with those accents to help solidify them in my brain. But my GOSH DBB is the GOAT!!!! I just feel like since we started the journey with Rex and Ahsoka in animation form with Dee and Ashley, it's only fitting to end it that way, too. It's more familiar and therefore would be more impactful and would be a great way to bookend it. But I'm okay with that being a veeeeery long way off!!!

I love the idea of seeing all of this galactic-level stuff seen through the eyes of a normal person. POV is a powerful thing in storytelling and that would be great to see!!

So, theory: Cid didn't sound...normal? the last time she contacted the guys and it's actually because the empire has gotten hold of her to try to bait the bad batch into coming into contact with her again. Well, that didn't work, so Cid suggests contacting Echo alone and tells him about Cross needing help (she knows the group has split) and that checks the "Cid is going to betray them" checkbox. Echo and Rex fall for it, contact the rest of the batch because they are going to need as much help as they can get in infiltrating Tantiss, and head to Pabu to rendezvous. That's where we get the long awaited Echo and Omega reunion. The group head to Tantiss, get Crosshair out, but in the process Omega is captured. They are forced to leave her to save injured/drugged/traumatised/comatose Cross and themselves. We open season 3 on Omega being experimented on or being mistreated to get Nala Se to cooperate.
