Further to my last post, I am very happy to say that volume 1 is now free to download - you can get it in pdf and ebook form, or from Amazon, or from a variety of other ebook stores. This goes along with the release of volume 4, so if you are that way inclined you can have the whole set on your ereader of choice. If you are wondering what the point of getting the ebook is, given that the entire comic is free to read on this very site (and plenty of others), there are extra bonuses. First, the art has been touched up and in one or two places the comic itself has been edited to read a bit more smoothly. Second, and more importantly, there are excerpts from the Great Library, featuring Inric's notes and additions to texts and, later on, writing from other characters - including a recipe for chuckets in volume 3 and a diary entry by Vincathaxis in volume 4. The panels shown here are from the excerpts from volume 1 - again, that's free, so you can check it out whenever you like. (Just to note, Amazon sometimes revert free books, but if you have a Kindle or the Kindle app, you can still download the ebook and send it to your Kindle - see here for instructions). Hi all, I have some fantastic news to share - the second volume of Chemical Blue has now been completed and printed! I'm sure there'll be more information from Sweatdrop Studios about it soon - but in the meantime, if you are going to London Comic-Con this October, it'll be available from Sweatdrop stall, and later on you can buy it online in the Sweatdrop shopand on Amazon! I'm so happy I finished this story, it's been such a massive part of my life for so long. I feel like I've unlocked a tremendous achievement! (Although, on a personal level, I'll have an even bigger achievement to unlock in a few days' time T_T) Volume 2 has taken quite a few years to make, in-between kids, jobs, house moves etc. but I feel really happy that I persevered with it and never gave up on the story and characters. They are as real to me as any IRL people I know, and I love them to bits (so much that I even named my daughter after the protagonist :)) So please so check out the book if you can! Thanks ~*

Just a brief update to say that volume 4 has arrived at last, as illustrated by the bookwyrms (and Inric, of course). You can buy them from Sweatdrop Studios, but if you would rather have an ebook and/or don't fancy paying excessive postage, watch this space ;)

Here's the extra print I was thinking about before - Narayedaran and baby Copper as well as Inric. This will be available as part of the print set which will be coming out along with volume 4. Also the final set of bookmark designs :)

Well, it's off to the printers now, so here's the cover for volume 4 and also the other three, for comparison purposes. Extra kudos for spotting all the number references I put in each one :)

This isn't a post about the book, I'm still working on finalising that with the printers. But I thought it'd be interesting to find out if there's anyone you'd like to see on a print. With each book, I've been doing a set of five prints showing the colour covers from the webcomic, because they don't get included inside the book (being colour and all). This post shows all of them so far, along with the four covers from book 4 (Kelyn, Kasivelieth, Hian and Vincathaxis). If there are any suggestions for the final print for the volume 4 set, please do leave a comment and let me know - otherwise, watch this space :)
