Padme Amidala - Naboo Peace Parade Denver Comic Con 2018 DCC 2018 Cosplay Classic Intermediate Judges Award Long time no cosplay update. This is my most recent achievement- and I’m still very proud of her! I taught myself embroidery just to do the symbols on the tabard. I employed a ton of new techniques that I don’t usually do... I even made a prop (the parasol collar), which is way out of my comfort zone. On top of it all: I entered my very first cosplay contest in my 17 years of cosplaying and walked away with a judge’s award- which was more than I expected! I’d like to also take the time to thank @dameronns for being so awesome and helping me with that damn petal cloak and my wig! And for being an amazing friend and handler throughout all of DCC.

Makeup / Wig Test for Evie - Disney’s Descendants

Can’t wait to debut the final version of this at Colorado Springs Comic Con on Saturday! Then I’ll reprise it at Nan Desu Kan next weekend.

I need darker eyebrows, I have to hem the dress... spruce up my purse aaaand I have a belt coming in ideally.

Makeup/Wig test for my quasi historical Sleeping Beauty concept! I’ve been hella into 14thC fashion as of late (which is hilarious because I’m generally a more structured 18thC France type of gal) and this idea would not leave my head! The plan is to finish this in time for opening weekend of the Ren Faire this weekend- and I’m right on track. I hope.

Mother Gothel - Tangled - ECCC 2015

With the darling @pafinmyass as my Rapunzel. These are a few of the many Mother Gothel shots her wife took for me at Emerald City and I’m absolutely thrilled with! I rarely cosplay villains anymore- much less such fabulous ones! And this is one of my comfiest cosplays, believe it or not!

Mother Gothel - Tangled - ECCC 2015 This costume is a test of how absolutely vain I can look at any given time. And seeing as I can be pretty amazing at that without even trying, it just means I get to play it up even more. ;D In all seriousness, however, I am in love with this costume and have a few more photosets to share with you over the week! And while I know that many of you probably forget that I cosplay from time to time, I still wanted to invite those of you that follow cosplayers on Facebook to consider following me as well.
