Ship of Theseus - 11.1% Stars: Takeuchi Ryoma, Suzuki Ryohei Based on the manga of the same name, it tells of a man who falls back through time to 28 years ago to find the truth of how his father became convicted for a series of murders that he denies he had a part in. It's Takeuchi's first starring role, but he's backed by a full cast of reliable young actors, including Ueno Juri, Eikura Nana and Kanja Shihori. The first episode takes time to build up momentum, and it's still at the stage where everyone seems suspect. In a sense it's great that Takeuchi has so much personal charisma, as he's very likeable in these everyman roles, but also indistinguishable from his previous dramas. Judging by the manga ending, the story doesn't actually fit its very philosophical name, and I'm not particularly fond of the way it ended, so I think it's a skip for me. Byoushitsu de nenbutsu wo tonaenaide kudasai | Please don't chant in the hospital room - 11.3% Stars: Itou Hideaki, Muro Tsuyoshi, Nakatani Miki This sort of ridiculous premise could only exist in manga - an emergency room doctor has a dual role as a monk for the hospital and prays for patients who pass away. Apart from the premise being too much for me to stomach at the moment, the first case was rather messy and hard to say where they're planning to take the story. Is his role to teach people the value of life after they've come face to face with death? It's nice to see Muro Tsuyoshi moving into serious roles, but so far none of the characters are likeable or interesting enough to keep watching.

130828 Team K Waiting Stage - MC - Mocchi’s story of Sayaka in Nemousu TV Australia SP

Looking back at Sayaka’s graduation stage performance two years ago, I noticed something here during one of the MC sessions that brought back memories.

The theme for the MC was members’ memories about Sayaka. For Mocchi, she tells the time when she, Sayaka and some few others (Akicha, Komorin, Sasshi and Suuchan) went to Australia for a Nemousu TV special and when Sayaka saved Komorin, Sasshi and Suuchan. Check this post to see what I mean. 

For those that never saw it, I’ll give a brief explanation:

During the time they were in Australia, the six members took part in the Darwin Beer Can Regatta, where they and everyone else made their boats out of beer cans and sail out into the sea and participate in a big battle against each other.

During the event, one side of the banana boat looking paddle boat they made that Sasshi, Komorin and Suuchan were sitting on broke loose and fell to its side and the three fell in the water–note that they were out in deep water here. In response, Sayaka, AKB’s Superwoman, quickly jumped into the water herself and came to the three’s rescue as a rescue team and other men arrived to help and take Sasshi, Komorin and Suuchan out of the event. Not just the members, but Mocchi also mentions that Sayaka even made sure to save one of the small cameras that fell in the water as well.

Like how the members here reacted to Mocchi’s story, what Sayaka did was just awesome. And that’s one of the things why Mocchi admired Sayaka.

ZACCでカットとトリートメントをしてもらったよ♡ I got a haircut and a treatment at ZACC ♡

結構印象変わった気がする☆ ふふふ〜(♡´艸`) I feel like my look has changed quite a bit ☆ Fufufu〜(♡´艸`)

ご飯はみんなでIWAで食べたよ♪ Then I ate with everyone at IWA ♪

ほーんとに楽しかった！ 沢山笑った＼(^o^)／ It was really fun! Full of laughter ＼(^o^)／

ゆりなにも久しぶりに会ったよー♡ I met Yurina too for the first time in a while ♡

メンバーとこうやってわちゃわちゃするのは楽しいなぁ(*´ω｀*) 幸せなひとときでした☆ Chatting with members like this is enjoyable (*´ω｀*) It was a happy time ☆
