JUST ADD WATER. Dehydrated/dry toiletries & cleaning products are SO much better environmentally than liquid. According to @ellenmacarthurfoundation , more than 90% of a typical bottle of cleaning product is water. Dry products have far less volume than their liquid counterparts meaning less space in transport vehicles further reducing fuel used & weigh much less, so have much lower carbon emissions in shipping. Plus, less volume also means less packaging needed. Approximately 20 percent of global disposable plastic packaging could be replaced by reusable packaging if we only shipped active ingredients.
