I’m still debating about it tbh! actually I’m just waiting for BG #4 to come out before taking the decision, it’ll be based on whatever happens in the issue. In fact, I want to post two drawings before that date kasjdhjka

.°･ ☆ Starline is always there for him after the failures of each battle.

So whenever Eggman becomes all mopey because of it, Star encourages him to keep going and cheers him up with things that he knows that Eggman likes. If Eggman has injurieds, wounds, burns, etc. after a battle, Starline will add the encouraging words to the curing process, disinfecting the wounds and bandaging them carefully.

Mombot always insists that Starline HAS to finish it kissing it better, but Starline refused because he gets too flustered to do something like that, followed by a “Mooooom!!” from Eggman.

.°･ ☆ Starline, Cubot and Orbot take turns to give Eggman is sponge bath.

While the robots don’t like it that much, Starline is always super eager to do it, he considers it an incredible honor to be able to do something like that to his idol, so whenever it’s his turn, he does everything to make sure that Eggman feels as spoiled as possible, with candles around the bathtub, relaxing music, bubbles and aromatic salts, putting a lot of attention in his task so his boss will be pleased with his job!

.°･ ☆ Eggman doesn’t admit it, but he has grown attached to Starline.

Whenever Starline is not around, Eggman will always call for him, just for Orbot to remind him that he’s not around, making Eggman bummed about it.

If it was Starline that left on his own (Probably after a fight they had), he will say that he’s fine without him anyway, trying to keep going as usual, but soon he realizes that he’s actually lonely and that he misses him, so he becomes so mopey that he won’t even go to the battles or not have energy during them, making the heroes to look for a way to solve the issue so Eggman and Starline can be together again and Eggman won’t be so sad anymore. (And probably Starline is sad and angry around somewhere as well, he’s very attached to Eggman too, but he tends to be a bit too emotional)

In the end, they always get back together in the most cheesy and cliché way, at the best Boom Style.

.°･ ☆ Whenever something lowkey romantic/shippy happens between them, Eggman becomes a flustered mess.

He begins to stutter and act super clumsy, which depending on the context will make Starline laugh (If they are alone) or feel embarrassed (If they are in public).

Starline will get flustered at the shippy situation too, but he just tries to “play it cool” and clear his throat, avoiding eye contact and trying to keep his composure, while inside he’s just screaming like the fanboy he is.

Funnily enough, Sonic always crack a joke about them being too obvious or being a couple, which usually go over Eggman’s head, so he doesn’t catch them, but Starline does and it will make them very flustered.

.°･ ☆ They enjoy Eggman’s relaxing activities together.

At first, when Starline was new, Eggman wouldn’t share his activities with Starline, but after a while and becoming closer to his assistant, he began to invite him to his preferred activities aside from villainy, like baking muffins together, exercising together (Both get tired super quickly), taking sun by the poolside and watching movies/soap operas during the night.

The latter is one that both enjoy the most, gathering tons of snacks and using a blanket during the cold nights. It doesn’t matter what kind of movie it is or if the soap opera is super bad, they both enjoy a lot that moment they spend together.

If by chance Eggman falls asleep in the middle of it (which sometimes happen frequently) Starline will cover him with the blanket, make sure that no one is around and give him a good night kiss in the top of his head before heading to bed.

If Starline is the one falling asleep, (mostly on Eggman’s chest/arm/lap) Eggman will get very very nervous about it, as he’s not used to handle that kind of situation, so he’ll just keep Starline warm until whatever they’re watching ends and he wakes him up so they can go to sleep. 

.°･ ☆ Starline helps Eggman to calm down his anger fits.

This one is my personal favorite! Whenever Eggman is throwing a tantrum, Starline will help him to take deep breaths and count so he will calm down.

Sometimes it doesn’t work, which makes Starline sigh a bit frustrated and wait until Eggman calms down by himself. But when it works, Eggman gets all pouty with a scowl, which usually goes away with Starline’s encouraging words.

Since we all feel bad for Starline in his current situation, can you give us some happy or wholesome headcanons you have for him? Thanks.

Of course <3!! It’d be my pleasure to share more headcanons about Starline, especially wholesome ones! I’ll share two:

✨ His favorite colors are maroon, crimson and pink

And as such, he tries that all of this belongings are of such colors because it makes him happy; his clothes, his shower in the faceship, his little air craft, his truck, even his badniks! Sure, there are moments in which he doesn’t have a choice and has to go with whatever other color is available, but as long as he can, he will pick maroon, crimson or pink.

Besides... he likes to personalize his favorite belongings, they need to scream that they’re his, to make they to be identifiable, that’s why he painted his badniks of maroon and yellow, so they would feel like something more his.

His phone has a maroon case and an eggman popsocket, you can’t change my mind

✨His two main badniks care for him

You remember the Eggpawn and the Motobug that always appear in the second floor of his repository around him? Well, those are Starline’s main badniks. He found them in pretty bad conditions after they were almost destroyed by Sonic, so he repaired them, painted them and reprogrammed them, now they’re fully capable of doing domestic chores to help him around.

Cooking? They do it (He doesn’t know how to cook to be honest, he’s terrible in the kitchen)

Sewing? They do it

Taking care of him when he’s sick? They do it

Cleaning? They do it

They’re like his two personal assistant and will make sure that Starline is comfortable and well, giving him coffee whenever he’s working until late or tea if he’s too stressed, making sure that he eats in the right time and to aid him whenever he needs it. The only thing they don’t do is taking care of him while he sleeps, because they recharge during the night.

And he gave them names! The Egg Pawn is called Asteroid and the Motobug is called Starlight (Both names have their meaning behind them!) and he loves them dearly.

And aside from being reprogrammed to do those chores, they developed a personality on their own (just like Eggman’s robots tend to do), so they feel happier working for Starline as they have a quieter life, plus with the time they got really fond of him.

🍉  :    which of the four seasons suits my muse best,  and why?  

Autumn/fall, definitely.

First of all, the weather temperature of fall is nice to him, it isn’t too hot like in summer or too cold like in winter, and while he is an endothermic creature (Meaning that he keeps his body temperature despite the weather), he prefers a rather neutral temperature in the environment so he doesn’t have to deal with the issues that come with things as heat waves and snow (Especially if he has to do field researches/work).

Another perk of autumn is that during that season, he doesn’t have to recharge his multi-tool spur with venom! Because he can use it directly from his own spurs since this is the time of the year in which he produces it naturally, so he doesn’t have to worry if his multi-tool spur is empty or not.

Plus he loves to use scarves, coats and any kind of fashionable autumn clothes, using different kind of fancy and nice outfits is part of who he is, and this is the perfect excuse for him to get to use his favorite kind of wardrobe! The fluffier and fancier it looks, the better!

The beautiful colors, the scent and the autumn food are things that he enjoys a lot too. He’s not a nature lover, he has always preferred technology and big cities over nature, but there’s something special on the autumn colors with the falling leaves that makes him appreciate his surroundings a little bit more when they look like that. Perhaps it’s the symbolism of nature dying that reminds him of the goals of the Eggman Empire of destroying everything to create Eggmanland that make him like it so much or just the romanticism and certain spark of magic that that season has, we’ll never know.

While Starline is a person who prefers to remain composed and being polite all the time, he’s prone to anger episodes, especially when he’s too tired or frustrated.

Usually he manages to keep his anger at bay, just being slightly annoyed, rolling his eyes, sighing, pressing the bridge of his nose, doing that sort of gestures that indicates that he’s not pleased, but when the situation is just too much for him to handle, he’ll raise his voice and show his anger, losing his cool/temper for a moment.

One would think that these anger episodes may occur under any circumstance, but they don’t, they appear under specific situations in which his anger is truly understandable, like his plans being crushed into pieces, facing situations that might be potentially dangerous and the one supposed to help is not doing anything or being insisted under a VERY delicate matter.

Tails is actually one of my fav characters :DD! I love him a lot! (and he was my first favorite back when I discovered Sonic), so I’m glad you associate him with me <33

☛ GET INSIDE YOUR CHARACTER'S HEAD! aka The Excessively Detailed Headcanon Meme

28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

On the best friend topic, he doesn’t exactly have a best friends, per say... he doesn’t even have “real” friends. At much, he considered that maybe Eggman could become a friend of his but that was like a far dream, since he always thought that Eggman was that unreachable idol that he’d be too lucky if he got to know at least.

The life of a villain and scientist is quite lonely, he’s not in good terms with... basically anyone, so for the time being, the only ones that he can rely on and call his actual allies are his badniks, especially his main Eggpawn (Asteroid*) and his main motobug (Starlight*), y’know, the ones that were with him in his repository all the time during Bad Guys. Aside from that... he doesn’t have actual friends.

When he was on the faceship he was lowkey forming a trusting bond with Orbot, but it didn’t reach the friendship level.

To him, everyone minus Eggman is just a pawn he can use in his plans.

Now, on the worst enemy topic... that’s easy.

Zavok.

He absolutely DESPISES Zavok. According to him, it’s the reason of why he’s not by Eggman’s side anymore, so basically Zavok costed him his life goal and dream, causing the platypus to hate him and wish to get revenge. Starline is so blinded by that thought that he doesn’t realize that the one making the mistake was him and not the zetis... hence why he blames him.

Not really! that was a decision I took some days ago:

I just hadn’t made it public (only mentioned it on my priv) because I wasn’t really sure about it, but now I think I am and decided to mention it here, I’ll probably mention it in Twitter too once I finish the drawings I said I wanted to do before stopping

Like I said, I’ll continue drawing it but I don’t think I’ll post it on main, just in my priv and my server
