It occurs to me that we never saw kris or suzy in the epilogue (though I think the latter was mentioned once? Idk). Did uh… are they doing decently?

// the darkworld arc had been abandoned/retconned. while there IS a UT-universe version of Kris and Susie (assuming Frisk isn't Kris in UT, tho Kris is still very much their own person regardless) in AFR, we will only know Susie in the redraw. (again... assuming UT Susie is Suzy and not a sister like the catty and catti situation.)

x-x we just know too little about DR we don't even know how the universes mirror each other and the timelines are all WHACK. its a nightmare to write for or even theorize about. i esp dont wanna think about how they'd change in the time skips of AFR.

anyway in the redraw we'll see a LOT more of Susie as Frisk's whole journey is about befriending her. i didn't add her and MK into the epilogue because we need a proper foundation that the redraw will provide. at that point, my Susie would diverge from canon Suzy heavily as her story would be quite different.

So. My original plan for the rewrite was for Gaster and Riverperson to have worked together in the prime timeline. then gaster got yeeted from time, leaving his work behind. Then, Chara would run away to the underground looking for a purpose and an escape from Asriel's BS and the island. (though, thinking on it, logically Mt.Ebott wouldn't be on monsterland... as that's exiled from humanity. so idk about that anyway)

Anyway exploring true lab Chara accidently uncovers an artificial darkworld and gets stuck as a ghostly narrator again, this time as a cherub with Feylow. Frisk, Susie and MK would be the party and they'd have to make their way home together. I've heavily considered this portion being a fangame-only material, for better play-value.

The story itself can keep gaster to a bare minimum. The guy is scattered across time. he's not directly involved at all. at most we know he did SOMETHING to chara in the prime timeline with their soul and now things are on the fritz (what caused this AU) up until fake DW, where they're possessed again.

I just don't want to play with DR canon at all anymore. darkworlds are inherently going to tie into that. and granted, in UT canon there's entry #17 that implies a growing darkness... it's not a stretch that Gaster could of done this. And he DID have a DT extractor, and the timeline is vague but the similar wording (and how old the core is) could imply he was around Chara's time. None of this is a stretch

buuuut working with Darkworld, even if it's a fake one, is too close to DR canon and we just don't know much yet. when i first did the darkworld, i thought it'd be a fun excursion into the same chapter 1 area... but i got too into the improv and imagination side of things without understanding the original at all. (and bad improv) it didn't really hit me that DR was it's own game and lore until Chapter 2, and I realized just how early on we are into that game's story.

I just... I can work with what I've got, I can avoid DR canon as much as I can but ultimately, I'm working with 2/7ths worth of puzzle pieces.

I don't wanna do any of this. Gaster used to be a "free for all" in the fandom to do whatever timeline/lore thing you wanted to pull of cause he was free real-estate. but now DR is treating him more and more as a character and I don't wanna touch the guy as he's going to be jossing the story.

idk what to do in all honesty. The darkworld portion IS important, Chara goes through major character development that the Continue Arc is built on. But I've been struggling with Feylow as a concept, and well, this. what the hell am I going to do.

It's my self indulgent Kirby x Viva Pinata AU! I had a small hyperfixation on VP a while back, and I couldn't help, but make an AU for it. Sadly, most of the lore and stuff for it on Discord servers with friends since I'm weird about posting straight AU information online without being asked first.

Basically, Piñata Island in this AU is a place not known by a lot of people, but is kind of a place people go to completely start over. You choose a new name, design a mask (a new face), and start from the very beginning. Nobody cares about who you once were, since the entire point of it is to start over.

Kirby is the newest and most talented gardener, taking over Dedede's ruined garden and letting it thrive. The most important characters for this AU are obviously Kirby (taking the player's place), Dedede (taking Jardiniero's place) who once had the best garden in the entire island, but it got ruined (thanks to a certain someone), Bandana Dee (takes Leafos' place) who is there to show Kirby the ropes, Meta Knight (takes Dastardos' place) who every loathes due to the fact he is the absolute worst, waiting for people's pinata to get sick and then breaking them open in front of the gardener, as well as being unofficially in charge of all the sours, and Nightmare / NME (taking Pester's place) who everybody as learned to despise due to his habit of sending demon beasts to the most well-profiting gardens in order for bribes or to destroy it.

There's also a lot of other characters in this AU too!

DMS, Gooey, Susie, the mage sisters, Hyness, Void Termina, the animal friends, Chilly, Magolor, etc. etc. are all here! I can go into more detail with them a lot if asked :)

for susie and mk, I doubt they could even become friends after what Susie's done. Especially considering she's still mechanizing planets. And I think of Meta Knight as someone who's trust is VERY hard to gain. They wouldn't be able to get within each other's sight lines without Meta Knight threatening her or going away immediately

I think for Kirfluff - the idea is very sweet, they are obviously very good friends and I can see why people like them together. They’re just kids though, so I don’t really Ship them as such myself. Let kids be kids.

I like Metagala. It’s such an interesting dynamic. MK and GK can Challenge each other in ways no one else can. And then there’s the whole you keep summoning me what the hells your deal? There are many ways I think you could develop that relationship and I love almost all of them.

I have many, many HCs for GK in the anime verse too. As I’m certain you’ll find out.

I don’t really ship characters myself, especially not in the comics because it’s not a focus of the tale I want to tell. But when I see works for ships like MetaGala or MK/King Dedede it still makes me smile.

There aren’t many ships I don’t like except maybe MK/Susie. But no shipping the kids.

I find it funny that the kirby fandom can find a way to ship Queen Ripple and 02 yet they can't find a way to ship Meta Knight and Susie without pretending the whole Mecha Knight thing didn't happen. Like, if you can write a realstic way for Meta Knight to fall for Susie despite that and have it become a healthy relationship then good on you, you're valid, but I've never seen that happen and I don't think it ever will happen.

Mod Susie: I’m aroaspec, but i’m love womens... I might have to go with Zan. Pretty thunder lady. I like her voice and I draw her as a human the most. I am NOT a susie kin do not EVEN start I just like her general aesthetic deal, y'know? Flamberge is also a good choice because she's fun and valid (unlike Zan, who is cancelled) and I like the fluffy hair. Just gimme a mage sister I guess!

Mod Taranza: hoo boy. As a person who is polyamorous, panromantic, and has traits they admire in most if not all characters, this is tough. But if I have to narrow it down, I’d say my top four are Meta Knight, Taranza/Morpho, Magolor, and Zan Partizanne. I’ll elaborate on why once I get back into ranking the characters

Mod Gooey: I’m aroace and I don’t do the romance thing, but if you were threatening my life I’d have to go with Claycia. Claycia is a very talented artist (like me :3), has a pleasing colour palette, seems like she’d give great hugs, and her laugh---Have you heard her laugh?

It’s adorable! And (spoilers) Claycia also seems brave, smart, and kind-hearted too, putting herself between Elline and Dark Crafter, and thinking quick when the real villain attempts to make a smooth getaway.

Honourable mentions include that one NPC who yeets Gordos in KDL3, and Taranza.

Mod Lor: So anyone who knows me from the original quotes blog already knows one of my answers is Nova, and I am in denial over that still so I’m not even gonna try to defend myself. So I’ll share my other answer which is Lor(big surprise I know). Sure, she’s a boat and has no canon personality or anything that’s important, BUT: what Kirby character exists that doesn’t require a little bit of headcanon to become fleshed out? And yeah sure Lor needs a lot of headcanons to become what I imagine her to be like, but whatever, I have time and weird taste so that doesn’t matter. What does matter is her objective benefits. Lor can take you just about anywhere, so long as it isn’t indoors. Who hasn’t wanted to go to space before? Lor can let you live that dream. And, for the people like me who don’t like hugs or making eye contact, that problem is irrelevant here. Need a safe environment to exist in for a little while? Lor has you covered. Wanna visit friends that are far away? Distance isn’t a problem when your partner can warp wherever you guys want. And, lastly, it’s free minigames.

Mod Galacta:  i am questioning if i'm aro or ace spec but, uh, i guess it'd be neat to hang out with mk, gk, taranaza, or bandee?  -meta has dad energy and chill vibes when not fighting for your life against him. -galacta knight (at least my version of him) is still very competitive though after spending many years in the crystal prison, only being released to fight rarely, decides to get more non-fighting based hobbies and relax more after getting released. probably be very nice to hang out with when (again) not being challenged to a fight.  -i don't now that much about taranza but he'd probably want to talk about gardening, play games and drink tea? honestly very good friend vibes.  -bandana is just friend shaped and i love them,, they deserves every good thing that comes their way

Mod Ribbon:  i actually had a HUGE crush on Ribbon when I was little, appropriately enough lmao. i'd also have to say MK is very cute/handsome and Dedede is EXTREMELY sexy and they both deserve many kisses. Sectonia is also stunning (bonus for magic and swords and being generally cool) but I don't think I'd ever want to date her because on top of the blindingly obvious caveats I am e x t r e m e l y spheksophobic

oKAY I THINK this is the final final design for the darkworld outfits for Frisk and Suzy. I'm probably replacing MK with a new darkner because like. When making this I realized they already hold Ralsei's position as both Green, Robe/Poncho, magic user/healer. Doesn't really work, Frisk and Suzy already bounce off each other fine without a third party against both of them. x-x

Frisk: leader, bard. Uses an electric keyboard and blasts Vocaloid and pop music. LOVES to dance and be sillay

Suzy: Same as in DR, barbarian but has boxer gloves with brass knuckles. I changed her accent color from yellow to cyan to give her a more cooler color scheme and to differentiate her from canon Deltarune Susie.

Next up: figure out what the world they're exploring is like and actually replace MK with someone who'd shake things up. (Sorry MK, you work best as a side character for now. </3)

Before kirby's arrival everyone thought king Dedede was the most selfish self-loving jerk (and he kinda was) there could ever exist. Everyone looked at the things he owned and how all of them had either his signature (blue peace sing) or his face. Even his giant robots were built to look like him. It was so annoying for so many.
