As far as I can tell, the Dark Riders were brought in for nothing. Literally they had no point in there than just to cause a mess and for Elixir to show off his powers.

honestly...they probably were. I mean, the Morlocks kinda turned up early on in that series for similar reasons I think. Cal was basically just around to cause tension with Sabretooth while he and Monet were fighting through the tunnels and then disappeared into obscurity again.

There was a reference to Clan Akkaba, Apocalypse’s extended family, and it made little sense. Clan Akkaba was exterminated by the Apocalypse Twins in, I think the Uncanny Avengers comic. When I saw that, I was hoping for an appearance by Apocalypse, but nope……just Elixir making zombies.

I believe they were, yes. Though tbh the first two runs of UA were a bit of a mess plotwise so it’s hard to keep straight how much of what happened there still stands. Maybe he’ll turn up with all the ressurexion stuff since they seem to be moving back towards the older x-men style and stories? but idk.

tbh he wouldnt even blame emma. she’s hurting so much right now he’d blame himself over her. he died in her arms and scott knows what’s that like better than anyone considering how jean died in his.

HONESTLY one of these days i need to a do an entire post just about my HC’s for abe and katrina because the canon writing is a mess wrt it 

the initial flashbacks paint him as a raging misogynist angry he can’t just own her and like, imo irrationally getting angry at ichabod despite the fact ichabod hadn’t actually done anything (altho picking that moment to be like “we want to ask for your blessing” was just bad judgement on crane’s part regardless) 

but then the season 2 stuff paints him differently, and neil has said in an interview it wasn’t about owning katrina, that abraham loved her and didn’t know how to show it, and he really did/does want her to make her own decision, regardless of it

but it still....ignores the fact he did basically kidnap her and put her in a position where she couldn’t leave and no matter how much time there was it still wouldn’t be a fully 100 percent consensual decision w/ the threat of the binding ritual overhead, it could have been weeks or years and it still would have been a decision made under duress and im just
