esseks old news the time has come for headcanons about [reads smudged writing] pumat sol and henry crabgrass

unironically i like pumat sol better than essek . and i actually do have headcanons on account of tha friend groupchat , so there >:D i think he has insomnia and at some point while travelling around later cad stays in zadash a bit and helps repay the mess with vess derogna (and having somewhere to sleep while he's doing whatever) by making him some healing potions (though those are worth more than staying in someone's house so , he does get payed. cad doesnt know what to do with more money tho). . but anyway while he stays there he has nightmares from aeor, which he does every night. so he gets up to make tea or somethign and then turns out pumat sol is also awake anyway and then they have middle-of-the-night tea together before actually trying to get some z's .. also we (me n friends) have this jokey scenario that pumat sol, despite his actual home being canon kinda a mess with things covering every surface, he doesn't like muddy dirt so he shoos cad out the back step with a broom like a mangy old cat whenever he's doing gross bug dead-people things. cad just befriends neighbourhood cats and birds and things, and probably smokes a pipe out there (picked up th habit perhaps lol, except its not tobacco, something from the grove instead) while he makes potions.. and then it's time to go again (very snufkin-y haha), pack up and travel home or somewhere else, and it was nice hanging out with another firbolg for a while :-3
