This was the battle between @humblesea & @vitaminseabrewing . And it was one of the most interesting battles that I have had until now. Both of the beers were really good but very different. Both of these breweries worked on a collaboration called, Seas Are Tight. Seas Are Tight; Vitamin Sea Brewing Company: Double Indian Pale Ale This one was very similar to regular VSB beers, it was super crisp and delicious. Had to work a lot to get this one haha, but definitely worth it. Looks-wise this was not foggy at all; had murky golden-yellow color, medium carbonation beer, could smell a lot of Citra. Highly drinkable. This is a full-bodied beer with oats and wheat in the malt Bill. (7.8% Alc./Vol.) My Rating: 4.95/5, Grade: A+ Seas Are Tight; Humble Sea Brewing Company: Foggy Double Indian Pale Ale with Citra cryo, sabro, and Vic secret hops. This one was very different than the VSB version. This had higher alcohol % and was a little difficult to drink. Had an acidic west coast IPA kinda taste. Full-bodied, creamy in texture, and super hoppy. Full-bodied, medium carbonation. But a great beer and definitely would love to try more from Humble sea. This was a battle between  @trilliumbrewing’s 2 beers with different flavors. Dialed in⠀; Trillium Brewing Company; Double Indian Pale Ale brewed with Moscato juice Dialed in⠀; Trillium Brewing Company; Double Indian Pale Ale brewed with chardonnay and Gewürztraminer juice One thing I know about both of these is that I am not a wine fan at all. These beers were a thick version of how Sour IPAs taste, but much better than those. Moscato juice: Murky orange body, Passion fruit, citrus, white grape, and slight dry bitterness. Bitter, white wine. Definitely lots of moscato qualities. Subtle grapefruit, and although bitter and hoppy, it was crisp but super dry on the palette. (8.5% Alc./Vol.) My Rating: 4.5/5, Grade: B Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer juice: murky golden-yellow color, hop nose with tropical fruit notes of mango and passionfruit, along with zesty orange and grapefruit. Undertones of oaky white wine, resin & grass, tropical notes of pineapple and crisp white wine. The finish gives juicy grape notes with a linger of citrusy hops. But again not a fan of sour-tasting beers. (8.5% Alc./Vol.) My Rating: 4.55/5, Grade: B+ My Verdict: Both were incredibly boozy and sour, but the second one i.e chardonnay juice was the winner for me. Could feel better flavors on the palette.
