Then, as more time passed and he realized you weren't giving up the act even as he came home from work, he'd be irritated.

You heard it very clearly since you always knew what time he came home from work, but this time it was different. Your eyes continued scanning over the book page even though you were barely processing it, your body was on edge.

A few seconds passed with only the sound of the ticking clock to fill the dreadful silence. Then footsteps, followed by your boyfriend standing in the doorway.

His eyebrows were knit and he was scowling heavily. '' Why didn't you answer? ''

He picked up the book you were reading and you held back a protesting whine. Silently you watched him turn it over in his hands and then scoff.

'' Was it really that interesting? ''

He would let the full 24 hours pass, but make a point by sighing loudly and pouting whenever you two were in the same room.

There were rarely times when Junkyu would do something to upset you, and there hadn't been a reason this time either. Honestly, you just wanted to upset him a little because he was cute and because you were bored.

This is another reason why he reacted so strongly. Your boyfriend called out to you when the food he'd prepared was ready. Sitting down to eat, his smile quickly faded when none of his remarks or attempts at small talk were acknowledged.

'' Did I do something? '' he asked in a small voice.

You held back a reaction and didn't say anything or even look up at him. It was as if he didn't exist at all. He must've picked up on that feeling too, because after that he didn't say anything else.

He joined you in eating his food silently and then put the plates away before walking to another room, leaving you alone for about an hour.

When he came back, he had a gloomy look on his face. His eyes didn't search for yours like they usually did. He just went to grab something and then left again.

Your heart ached in regret upon seeing him shift so suddenly due to your own actions.

'' I'm sorry, I'm not actually mad at you. I was just joking. ''

You felt tears start to poke your eyes. The guilt had been eating you up inside the more time that passed. His eyes looked puffy and red. A sniffle told you it hadn't been long since he last cried, and his voice broke, '' Really? Are you sure? ''

The next day you'd better shower him in love, and apologize profusely for the next few days.

He blinked at you in confusion but cunningly caught on quickly that you were playing a game. A childish grin would spread on his face as he asked for confirmation.

Your silence didn't irritate him, instead, he nodded and pursed his lips, coming closer to you.

It was unlike him to want to play childish games. He was usually pretty serious and at times strict, acting almost 10-20 years older than he actually was.

You stared after him with a gaping mouth. Then you laughed and shook your head. You weren't exactly complaining though since you'd been a bit nervous to try pranking him.

The day ended up becoming quite enjoyable. You two laughed a lot and tried to make the other person speak by catching them off guard or tickling them.

It was one of the more normal days you'd had where you felt like an actual couple, and at the end of it, it left you with a warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach.

Even you were surprised that Jaehyuk could make you feel those feelings, but it seemed like he was also a little shocked with himself. The whole thing seemed to have bonded you on both sides and when the 24 hours were up you got entangled in a passionate kiss.

With a lighthearted joke like this though, you hadn't expected him to react the way he did. He looked at you as if you had just cheated on him after you turned away when he kissed you; and that's exactly where his rage-filled mind went.

Despite still sticking to your plan, your eyes widened visibly at his strange accusation. He approached you.

'' Why aren't you answering me? It's a simple question- yes or no? ''

The look in his eyes told you that he wasn't really someone you should mess with when he's angry, and really you knew that from before due to seeing him fight all kinds of guys. It was breaking your heart that he had that same look of burning hatred directed at you now though, as if you were just like them.

'' I'll explain, '' you sighed and rubbed your temple.

The whole thing had made you tired and a slight throbbing in your head warned of an oncoming headache, it was best to end it here.

'' I wasn't actually angry or upset at you. It was this stupid joke thing I saw online that girlfriends did to their boyfriends. ''

His face turned blank. '' Fine. Good, '' he awkwardly pressed out and cleared his throat.

For the rest of the day, you'd have to walk on your toes, because although he didn't punish you for the prank; he'd be extremely moody and probe you, waiting for you to mess up so he actually could.

Junghwan

He rolled his eyes at first and then walked away, eventually leaving the house. Several hours would pass without a word from him, leaving you a bit speechless because it was definitely not what you had planned.

Right as the sun started setting, he finally came home. He threw several glances your way to try and figure out if you were still going to ignore him.

He could tell it wasn't anything serious since you kept eye contact and looked at him deliberately when he spoke, you just didn't respond.

But it was annoying nonetheless and felt disrespectful. Testing how far you were willing to go, he said, '' Let's break up. ''

Without thinking you blurted out, '' What? ''

Junghwan smirked, happy and self-pleased that he had outsmarted you so easily. Now there was no point in continuing the prank anymore so you just sighed and gave up.

'' Are you serious? ''

'' Ah...now you're talking? ''

'' Answer me. Why would we break up? ''

'' You seem angry at me and won't respond. Why would I want to date someone who can't even communicate properly? ''

It was starting to sound serious, you were unsure if he was just fucking with you due to you ignoring him or if he actually had come up with that during his walk outside.

Yedam was carrying you, running with you in his arms. He only gave you a pitiful look when he glanced down and saw that you were awake, nothing seemed to shake whatever he was stressed about away.

'' Don't worry. Go back to sleep, you will be okay, '' he whispered, shushing you like you were a child.

You winched at the bright hospital lights above and buried yourself into his chest. He managed to grab hold of a nurse near the entrance and loudly shouted at her.

'' My girlfriend needs help. She's sick- something's wrong with her! ''

The poor nurse jumped back in surprise and clutched her chest. A few seconds of awkward eye contact passed before she gave in and ushered you to a room.

Your confusion would be answered after about two hours of radio silence from him. At the door, you waited to greet him like always, only to end up looking dumbfounded as a beautiful woman stepped in front of him.

'' Who are you? ''

She paid you no mind and her glancing back at Mashiho who gave her a small smile, told you that he had instructed her to do that.

Your boyfriend came in afterwards, very nonchalant looking for what drama he had just created for something so petty. You directed your rage at him since she didn't want to answer you.

'' Who is she? ''

'' Now you want to talk to me? '' he snickered, '' Too bad it's too late. ''

i was SEATED from beginning to end

genuinely one of my favorite performances out of all of them just because of how powerful and visually clean this group was on stage

the beat had me hooked from the start

phanbin's facial expressions left me in shock

this man's stage presence is so strong

didn't really notice him before this but now he has all my attention

honestly one of the only reasons why this isn't my all time favorite stage is just because of how much they focused on the dance aspect

like with people like yujin and zihao on the team, i can see why that might have been a conscious decision

but making everything so dance focused when it was a dance AND rap stage made it seem like something was lacking

the deep voice, the slight rasp, the flow control

i mean look into his sparkly passionate eyes and tell me that you don't absolutely adore him and think he's the most amazing, cute, talented, person ever

overall this performance didn't really speak to me when i first watched it because i've heard the original and that put my expectations SKY high (listen to infinite people)

but as i rewatched it and started really getting into it to it i got the hype

it also produced the iconic line

dongyeol really surprised me with his vocals

i think his improvement should be studied fr cause i think he added a sense of humor and amusement to the stage which i genuinely don't hate

woojin was the one who stood out the least to me which i predicted from the start

as sub vocalist 3 but main rapper i thought the rap would let him have his time to shine but personally mingyu stole the show

mnet also gave him like 3 whole seconds of exposure throughout the whole performance which may have been another reason why i felt he was the weakest of the 4

genuinely feel like that was a more broadcasting issue than a him issue though which makes me sad :(

overall a really sweet and cute stage that i would defo rewatch whenever i have the time

literally the second i saw hanbin, zhang hao, gunwook, and hui on the same team i knew it was over

also the way i didn't know hoe-taek was hui from pentagon was shameful (don't come for me pls)

i literally figured it out after i saw a tiktok saying that when he was singing tomboy he was singing his ex-girlfriends, ex-group's song(he dated soojin for the ppl that don't know)

the way i went into shock for a hot minute

anyways back to the performance

love love loved zhang hao's prechorus

i feel like it felt really rushed and emotional but in the best way possible

even with the sub vocalist 1 and sub rapper 1 positions (plus the fact that he didn't get the killing part) i think that he really got the most out of his lines and made the performance his own

the way they changed "why are you cranky boy" to "why are you cranky girl" kind of threw me off though

like let them embrace their inner twink mnet

censoring the chorus of the song also kind of disappointed me cause i felt that it made the song feel less powerful

but i already knew it was coming as bp is meant to be a "family friendly" broadcast (I'm say this in the most sarcastic way possible)

the way it was stuck in my head for a solid week is probably really unhealthy but i don't care

and honestly i get it

its such a refreshing change from all the other performances and it truly feels fun and enjoyable

like when i first watched the performance i was so surprised because since when has he been this good at rapping!?!? maybe that's just me tho

him, haruto, and keita definitely carried the rapping for me

I love him sm he's actually such a cutie with his little hat

in fact unpopular opinion but i actually liked the stage aesthetics in general including the outfits

idk what it was but the neon green was hitting real hard (its the inner neo in me)

And the RAPPING oml i had to take a breather after he finished his rap because i was in SHOCK

one of the best self-made raps ive heard, and the flow is just so controled

i'm also in love with his rapping voice in general??? idk what it is but it makes me feel some type of way

defo one of the main stars for me, but i think you all saw that coming because look at him

ollie coming in with his little rap made me so happy cause he's genuinely such a cute

not as strong as the other rappers (and as sub rapper 3 i expected that) but he still made an impact in the performance which i love

i can't even say his name properly anymore bcs of this

defo the highlight of this performance and one of the main reasons i love it

if i had to pick one trainee that owned this song i wouldn't be able to because of how well rounded everyone on this performance was

also his stage presence throughout the whole song was crazyyyyyyy

literally had to rewatch it again just to focus on him and his facial expressions

it wasn't really a vocally powerful song and i feel like it had the same issue as law but instead of not enough emphasis on the rap it was the vocals

but they still tried their best and i think that they did stand out in some ways

now the OUTFITS i have to talk about

these stylists need a raise fr cause the way that the red suits fit the stage so well

but the way that they covered seo won and gyuvin's chest made me giggle a little

overall i would say that its defo not as polished as some of the other performances, but the overall concept and vibe suited all the trainees so much that the execution was bound to be amazing

cha woongki carried the feel special team on his back

they better have thanked all the gods above that gunwook kicked him out of his first pic otherwise that performance would have been so screwed

the way it felt like a whole solo song just for him because no one else wanted to sing :(

another thing i wanted to talk about was the limousine performance

the way i was shocked by how good it was

they trashed mnet, they ate, and then they left (literally)

i was gonna talk about it but i didn't have the time, so just know that it has a very special place in my heart

special mention number 3 goes to jongwoo

as a rapper being put in a VERY vocally difficult song like home, im so glad that he overcame the difficulties and placed 1st cause he deserves it

his facial expressions never fail to get me every time

i also think he's such an amazing leader and deserves credit for that

might be a little biased though cause he's one of my favorite boys planet trainees

"lunch?" you ask him. he nods with a smile. the two of you head to the cafeteria, hand in hand.

you and doyoung meet the rest of your friends and sit down at the table. "hey you two." yedam greets both of you. you and doyoung greet him back before eating. one of doyoung's hands rest on your thigh. you love it when he show's physically affection, especially in public. it tells others that you are his and he's proud of it and doyoung is proud that you are his, he's more than thrilled to be yours.

after lunch you have a few more classes before being able to go home. "i'll see you after school, yeah?" doyoung asks. you nod with a smile. doyoung returns the smile and pecks your nose before walking off to his class.

after school doyoung walks you home, hand in hand. "could you actually sleepover tonight? i mean i know it's week and everything..." you trail off, hoping your boyfriend will say yes. "anything for you, my prince. i'll get my parents to say yes." he replies and you squeal mentally.

"mom! i'm home, doyoung is with me!" you let your mom know. your mom responds with a 'okay.' a few seconds later. your mom and doyoung's parents know that you two are in a relationship and they are supportive of it. doyoung's parents love and adore you, your mom liking doyoung alot.

the both of you head up to your bedroom still hand in hand and doyoung groans of the sudden realization. you turn around to face him. "what's wrong?" you ask him. "we should've went to mine first. it would be better to ask my parents in person, plus we'd anyway need to go to mine to get clothes." he tells you. "ahh, you got a good point." you agree with him. "i'll go ask my mom real quick." you add. "okay." he replies with a soft smile on his face as he let's go of your hand.

the way doyoung looks at you is filled with pure adoration and admiration. everytime he looks at you all of his problems just disappears. he's always happy and calm when he's around you, so relaxed and comfortable. he always knows what to say whenever you are mad or upset, he always succeeds in cheering you up or calming you down. he can read you so easily. you feel so safe with him. you feel so comfortable and relaxed in his embrace. you can fall asleep in his hold oh so easily. he knows you so well.

and just as he knows you so well, so do you. you know exactly what to say to him when he's mad or upset. you can calm him down so easily. doyoung will do anything for you, as long as it makes you happy. he's willing to sacrifice anything for you. the two of you have been together for a while now and you two only recently started saying 'i love you to each other.' you guys don't say it alot since it's all new to you but there arw occasions where you do say it to one another.

you come back to see doyoung lieing down on your bed on his back. you approach him and lie down practically ontop of him. his one arm rests on your back, his hand squeezing your shoulder in comfort. "what did she say?" he asks you softly. "she said yes." you reply in the same tone as his. doyoung pecks your head and the two of you get up and head to his house.

fortunately, doyoung's parents also say yes and the two of you go to his bedroom to get the necessary things he'll need. after getting everything he needs the two of you head back to your house.

you two change into something more comfortable. completing your look is doyoung's hoodie. it's so soft and comfortable. doyoung loves it when you wear his clothing. "let's get some snacks and drinks then we can watch a movie or something on my laptop in my bedroom." doyoung is quick to agree and the two of you wipe the kitchen, snatching all of the snacks and drinks then head back to your bedroom.

after getting everything ready and comfortable, you can't help but film the setup, getting you and doyoung holding hands in the video and uploading the short video to your instagram story. "had to show off?" he questions you with a chuckle. you nod, proud as you place your phone down and play the movie. doyoung only giggles in response.

later that night your mom comes in and tells you two to get to bed since you guys have school the following day. fortunately for you two the movie is finished and both of you are full of the snacks and drinks.

the two of you get ready for bed and get comfortable next to one another. you are facing doyoung as his hand is resting on your waist, his other hand by your head as he plays with your locks. he softly chuckle at him. you peck his lips, "goodnight." you say. "night y/n." he says back and pecks your forehead. he pulls you closer and you fall asleep in his warm and comfortable embrace.

Overall Energy: 2 of Air-It seems they are indecisive of which path to take right now. Or they aren't sure which direction they are going in. I don't think they have much say in the direction, so there could be confusion on their part of where they are going right now, looks like there are different pathways, could be pertaining to their concept.

Bonus Reading: I wanted to add Yedam and Mashiho to this reading, because both were my faves in the group, and I wanted to check on them to.

Can't say this on Twitter so I'm going to say it here. If future Teumes are ever like "omg supporting OT12 is toxic, appreciate the members that are present." I will hunt you down and skin you alive. This isn't Stray Kids, this is not Woojin we're talking about, there's no controversy here! Mashiho and Yedam were pillars of Treasure. Mashi was a dance leader and Yedam had a voice known the world over. Treasure may be 10 in our eyes but they will always and forever be 12 in our hearts and I'll be damned if some snot-nosed little cretin is going to tell me how to be a fan. This SHATTERED me in a way only those who have lost members of groups they loved will understand. The pieces of my heart are just rattling around the inside of my ribcage. It's fucking agony. Treasure, those are my sons and I just lost two of them. I've gone from the highest fucking high to the lowest low in six months. I would rather have my ex fiance dump me all over again and have Mashidam back then live in this grim reality a second longer.

So I've heard about Yedam and Mashiho's departure from Treasure but I just want to let you all know that I still want to include them in my fics and writings. I respect if this is purely their decision to leave, but i also treasure them being a part of our beloved group, hence, i will continue to include them and support them in their future endeavors too 🧡💎
