I might be a day late to the party, but something good? I’m literally on a superyacht in Greece for the week.
My dear bougie Bunny, you ✨need✨ to do this at least once. We’ve got a chef and a deckhand who is a boxer in the off season (and he’s easy on the eyes) and a stewardess catering to our every need and an amazing captain.
It’s pretty freaking sweet, and hey, no murders on this superyacht, so yay.
I did pack and wear my bikini covered in Satoru manga panels 🫡
Omg hi I’m OBSESSED Mrs. Satoru Gojo. A Satoru bikini??! That is the hottest thing I’ve ever heard.
Given that we’re soul mates, you bet I’ve done the yachting in Santorini and is literally a fucking DREAM. Not to mention that EVERYONE in Greece is insanely hot. Literally sculpted from the Gods.
The inspiration for Poseidon Geto, literally comes from a fisherman I saw spearing fish in the sea next to the outdoor seafood restaurant I was getting blasted in.
Please make your way to Paros and Mykonos 💕🫶🏾

Sail Away
One week on a 50 ft yacht, eight friends, one beer loving skipper, the salty Aegean Sea, the sweet tunes of Enya and endless sunshine. It was hard not too relax!
We spent our first night in Oia, Santorini watching the iconic sunset and enjoying our first Greek salad of the week. What a life we live! The following day we started with breakfast served on the rooftop of our cute little villa overlooking the sea. With our tummies happily fed we set off to explore the blue and white streets of Oia before the crowds hit. We took the hundreds of steps down to Ammoudi Bay, passing a procession of donkeys flicking flies away and looking thirsty in the hot sun. To cool off we found a rocky swim spot with a big jump rock for the more adventurous. For lunch we stopped at one of the taverns on the waterfront and enjoyed grilled vegetables and calamari. We lingered a little londer to shelter in the shade before the hot walk back up to the top of the cliffs.
Late in the afternoon we set off on a local ferry to nearby Thirasa to find our home for the next week. Here we met our friendly Captain, Mirko. A Serbian sea man who’d been living in Greece for 30 years and lived to sail and drink beer.
We stayed overnight in the small harbour before setting off the next morning. First stop a swim spot with crystal clear water. We cooled off before enjoying muesli and copious amounts of rich Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit. For lunch we made Greek salad and found another swim spot even more beautiful than the first.
We pulled up for the night in Koufonisi, where we dwarfed between a couple of superyachts. Our neighbours were wealthy looking middle aged couples. They were tended too by crews in all-white uniforms to complete the stereotype.
We had a quiet night with dinner at an outdoor taverna and enjoyed lamb souvlaki, zucchini balls, local beers and wine. We watched kittens playing in the garden nearby as the sun set behind the silhouette of a windmill.
Our next day was filled with more swim spots, Greek yoghurt and salad. We pulled into Skhinoussa for the evening and as night hit and it cooled off we took the winding path up the hill and into the town to a local restaurant for a banquet meal.
Every morning we piled on the sunscreen and spent some time relaxing, chatting and napping on the deck in the sunshine. We dived into the salty water off the boat and swam to beaches. As the day got too warm we listened to music and dozed off again under shade canopy at the back of the boat.
Our next stop was Naxos where we took drinks and Gyros to go and wandered to the headland to check out the sunset from the temple of Apollo. We tried local gelato - for me, a scoop of aegean Sea salt, pistachio, dark chocolate in a fresh waffle cone and a sneaky second scoop mango Greek yoghurt.
My favourite Island was Paros, where the beautiful Hellenic streets offered shade from the afternoon sun and boxy white architecture was complimented by bright pink bougainvilleas hanging above our heads. In the center of the old town a cute little port filled with tiny old wooden boats was surrounded by restaurants with limitless outdoor seating. When the sun went down it was buzzing with people enjoying drinks and dinner with family and friends.
Our last island for the trip was Ios. Where we hiked to the top of the hill to a church to watch the sunset. A party town full of rowdy tourists. We ate gyros amongst the party goers. Drinks were cheaper here and the crowd as well!
On our final night on the boat we returned back to the harbour in Thirasa where we spent the afternoon swimming and enjoying some drinks. As the night rolled in we sat on deck and watched shooting stars before being rocked to sleep by the waves for the last time.
We left Greece with plenty of memories, bigger bellies and a little more colour. The question is, where do we sail next year?
Yamas!

What are the best yachts equipped with beach clubs and why should you always ask for them on your charter yacht?
In this article, we will find out what is meant by a beach club on board a yacht and why it is one of the main and most loved parts of this kind of boat.
What is a yacht’s beach club?
In everyday jargon, a beach club means a secluded place on a beach where a whole range of services is available that make your stay in the sun more enjoyable. There are beach clubs of different types, more or less luxurious, which offer for example comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, up to more exclusive services such as real beds with gazebos, background music, massages, and so on.
When we talk about a beach club on a yacht we mean an area located as close to the water as possible and equipped with all sorts of comforts. In fact, the best superyacht beach clubs offer all the luxury of an exclusive hotel pool, with the advantage of being completely surrounded by the sea.
Why is a beach club considered a fundamental superyacht part?
When it comes to fun aboard a superyacht, a beach club equipped with every detail becomes fundamental. The best and most refined luxury yacht models have decks that allow greater proximity to the sea and almost perfectly simulate beach life, actually drawing only the most positive aspects from it.
The best yacht beach clubs offer the best to their guests:
Sunbathing while you are comfortably relaxed on a sunbed is only the basis of the services that a real beach club can offer. How about a comfortable bar stocked with your favorite cocktails at your fingertips? You only need to ask!
Gym equipment is also a fairly common feature of beach clubs. Fitness lovers will appreciate and can cool off with a simple dip in the sea.
Finally, the swimming pool at your fingertips is a must. The best yachts also offer indoor pools for days when the weather is unfavorable.
What are the best yacht beach clubs?
Although they have now become standard within many large boats, there are some beach clubs that stand out for their exclusivity. Thanks to the unique experience they can offer, they are able to make your holiday unforgettable. Let’s find out together some of the best models on the market today:
Aquijo
Produced by Oceanco, the Aquijo beach club model falls within the ranking of the most refined. This superyacht offers a beach club complete with a real bar, a beautiful whirlpool, and a fantastic sauna. The environment is made even brighter by a fantastic skylight that allows the sun to completely illuminate the area.
O’Ptasia
This 85-meter superyacht is not only impressive but is also equipped with an impressive beach club suited to the needs of any guest. Designed to maintain an ideal temperature in its internal part, the O’Plasia beach club is equipped with a full optional bar, a white marble Turkish bath inspired by the classic hammams, and a large bathing platform with a self-propelled section that lowers and rises to facilitate access to the sea.
Go
Go is a 77-meter superyacht launched in 2018 by Turquoise Yachts. The feature that makes it rightfully one of the best yacht beach clubs is the huge space that it makes available to its customers: even 162 square meters open on three sides and with direct access to the sea. Really remarkable! Inside it we find an onyx-clad bar, a 100-inch television, massage room, and even a Turkish bath.
Pegasus VIII
When it comes to beach clubs, another excellent example of large spaces is definitely Pegasus VIII, a Superyacht built by Royal Denship which has a beach club equipped with a 78 square meter veranda. It offers an incredible panoramic view and the perfect place to have fun with family and friends.
Chopi Chopi
Chopi Chopi is the flagship of the manufacturer CRN and is 80 meters long. Its huge beach club, which starts well before the large bathing platform, creates a huge and perfect space for any party or event. Among its amenities, the Chopi Chopi beach club features a sauna, a massage room and a hammam all adjacent.

Where to go on holiday for September sun this year
Following the August rush comes the quieter month of September, when the days are still long and the evenings balmy. As the milder temperatures start to set in across Europe, whilst the post-lockdown crowds have already emptied out, here’s our pick of shoulder season hotspots where summer isn’t over just yet…
The Greek Islands
Picture-perfect cliff-top villages with colourful cupolas and fuschia flowers climbing up white-washed walls, impossibly blue water at its warmest after several months of scorching sunshine, the Greek Islands still enjoy the best of golden hour with temperatures averaging between 20-25ºC in September.
Take in the best sunset views in Santorini from the all-villa Canaves Oia Epitome.
Spend the day on the sundeck at Boheme Hotel overlooking the Aegean Sea, cooled by the Cycladic breeze after wandering the windmill-lined coast of Mykonos.
Seek shade beneath old cedar trees at Naxian Collection, a chic cluster of sugar-cube villas on Naxos.
Tumblr media
The Balearic Islands
Hide out in the hundreds of cove beaches – or calas – along the rugged coast of Ibiza, which is still white hot in September with highs of 28ºC during the warmest part of the days. Also coming in hot with highs of 27ºC is the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, with its cliff-fringed coastline, white sandy beaches, and long stretches of countryside dotted with olive trees and citrus groves. For the brightest blue seas you’ll see this side of the Indian Ocean, opt for Formentera, the smallest of the Balearic Islands – also with averages of 27ºC during the day.
Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is the place to see and be seen, with all the grown-up glamour of the White Isle with its laid-back luxury aesthetic.
To experience Mallorca in all its rugged coastline glory, the converted 19th-century fortress turned boutique hotel Cap Rocat overlooks the Bay of Palma, with its own private rock cliff beach offering direct access to the sea, jetty and salt water pool.
For more of a Mallorcan countryside retreat, while the days away beneath cypresses and lemon trees at Finca Serena.
Relax in the comfort of your cabana on one of the best stretches of sand on Formentera at Gecko Hotel & Beach Club, or re-balance with the hotel’s resident yoga guru in a morning seaside session.
Tumblr media
Sicily & The Aeolian Islands
Nestled between Europe and Africa, the largest island in the Mediterranean is full of dramatically located cliff-top villages, gently faded baroque buildings, cultural treasures, wild beaches and brooding volcanoes – not to mention the best blend of East and West cuisine. With average highs of 26ºC during September, there is still plenty of sunshine and blue skies to be enjoyed at more pleasant temperatures on Sicily and its surrounding islands.
To immerse yourself in Sicilian culture, as well as the landscape, stay at the 200-year-old farmhouse Susafa, now a family-run rustic boutique hotel. Help with the olive harvest from the middle of September onwards, which is pressed for the hotel’s own organic oil.
Hop over to the small Aeolian island of Vulcano, located about 25km north of Sicily in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Set on a rocky headland with a view that encompasses the entire Aeolian archipelago, soak up the Sicilian sunshine from the seawater-filled infinity pools at Therasia Resort Sea & Spa.
Castaway on Italy’s undiscovered Pantelleria Island, where the Tunisian coast is visible on clear days and the land is characterised by volcanic activity. Sip on passito – the honey sweet local dessert wine – by the pool at porcelain-white dammuso Sikelia.
Tumblr media
Croatia
With its secret golden shores, fortified citadels, rolling vineyards, and more than 1,200 islets, Croatia is not only one of the most temperate destinations in Europe during September (with highs of 24ºC) but also one of the safest Mediterranean countries to visit this year – as one of the countries exempt from UK quarantine rules.
For some of the best views of Dubrovnik old town, and just a short stroll away from the ancient east gate, Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik is as rich in history as it is close to it – made up of an original 1913 royal villa and a sleek contemporary wing.
In prime position beside the glamorous superyacht marina, D-Resort Šibenik glimmers with glass walls for spellbinding Adriatic views. Keep things secluded with an Exclusive Villa and spend the day beside your private pool, or step aboard the hotel’s own boat to explore the cerulean seas and red coral of the Kornati Islands.
The charm of medieval Istria meets pared back luxury at San Canzian Village & Hotel, perched up on the Croatian peninsula near Buje in the medieval village of Mužolini Donji. Take your taste buds on an adventure by joining a truffle hunting expedition in the nearby forests – hunting season starts from mid September.
Tumblr media
Portugal
With the grape harvest in full swing, September is one of the best times to visit Portugal‘s many wineries, and enjoy sightseeing its red-cliffed coastline and idyllic whitewashed Moorish villages at more moderate temperatures of 19-26ºC. The sunniest spots are down south, dotted along the impossibly blue waters of the Algarve coastline.
With its dusky pink walls adorned with domes and statues, Pousada Palácio de Estoi is a Rococo palace bathed in Algarve sunshine.
Unwind on the sugar-white sands of Carvalhal Beach, renowned as one of the country’s best beaches – just a short shuttle ride away from Quinta Da Comporta – Wellness Boutique Resort, where each room has a luxurious beach hut feel, with rustic-style furniture drawn from a natural colour palette.
Just 40 minutes from Porto, Carmo’s Boutique Hotel is wonderfully placed to discover the traditions, cultural heritage and architecture of the beautiful Minho region of Portugal – and a number of the rooms have views across the Lima River Valley.
