You'll hear more about these wonderful Hostess cakes during the curse of the next commercial.--from Kermit Schafer's "Pardon My Blooper!" collations of suspected broadcasting erratum

The which was enough to pique the interest of the SuperSnooper Detective Agency and its resident detectives, Super Snooper and Blabbermouse, watching the commercial on some second-rate TV in the agency's offices on a rather dank and showery afternoon.

"Geez, Snoop," Blabbermouse was quick to chime in over a cup of freshly-ground, pour-over coffee of an esoteric brand, "how could it be that a commercial might be cursed? Like that the--"

Whereupon Super Snooper chimeth in, "I assumes you must be asking whether the Old Nick fellow, as in the Devil, would suddenly be appearing and without warning, making with the sinister-type snickering--almost like a certain Muttley, as it were." (Brief pause) "But, uh, Blab, have you been getting certain ideas, in essence, from some pseudo-religious 'tracts' making the rounds?"

"You mean like these Jack Chick such?" Blabbermouse exclaimed, holding up a sheath thereof from a hidden compartment in his desk drawer, or what passed for it. And handing such to Super Snooper, he couldn't help but feel a mix of hilarity and revulsion at the sheer tackiness of such pseduo-comics supposedly aimed at "winning men and women to Christ" in the worst way possible.

At any rate, the commercial in question came on, and same managed to come off unscathed--which, even for a live such, amounted to a psychological letdown until--

"Does the term, uh, 'lapsus linguae' mean anything to you, Blab?" asked Snooper as the commercial wound down.

"Is it something like 'slip of the tongue,' Snoop?"

"You is precisely all the more correct, Blab my partner ... it seems the hostess type behind the commercial in the initial billboard, so to speak, must have maybe misread things off the Teleprompter ... but if there were some sort of curse to the commercial--"

"You mean like the Devil suddenly appearing--" was how Blabbermouse cut in, prompting Super Snooper to suggest that Blab might want to cut down on reading or even collecting such Jack Chick nonsense, and adding "If there was like to be a curse upon the commercial, is it not likely, my fellow detective, that Scooby-Doo could have disposed of the case rather quickly?"

Which has Blabbermouse responding somewhat giddily, "Oh boy oh boy, Snoop--to imagine Scooby-Doo and his crew joining us in a mystery, and then some!"

Only to have Super Snooper rejoinder in an earth-crashing remark: "Blab, the forte of Scooby-Doo is more in the vein of the suspected supernatural and unnatural, which is way beyond the ken of detective types like us, and I'm not talking Barbie's boyfriend!" Which saw Super Snooper pull off a surprise--his pulling out a box of Entenmann's cupcakes from a bottom drawer of his office desk ("I has to acknowledge that I can't resist these over that Hostess product"--Super Snooper) and sharing a couple just to stay sane somewhat until dinner.

Ihre letzten Worte im Film: “Meine größte Rolle. Was für ein Ende.“ 🦸🏼‍♂️ Fazit: Terence Hill, den man normalerweise an der Seite von Bud Spencer vermutet, unterhält in diesem Film an der Seite von Ernest Borgnine, den viele wohl aus “Airwolf“ kennen, auf ganzer Linie. Seit meiner Kindheit liebe ich diesen Film und daher schraubt der Kindheits- und Nostalgie-Faktor die Wertung nach oben und macht aus einem gelungenen Film für mich einen grandiosen Film. Coolness, Humor, Sympathie und Charme machen die Figuren im Film aus, der zugegebenermaßen recht trashig erscheint. Die Story ist gut, aber auch nur Mittel zum Zweck. Ok, I liked STARMAN when I was young.. but I LOVED SUPERFUZZ. The best worst movie, perhaps of all time.

I remember when  I first started dating my wife, I made her watch it. Surprisingly she stayed with me and later went on to marry me. 

But she never watched it again.
