"There’s always the question of how Anderson’s post-Kombat career survived. Aside from being Uwe Boll’s antithesis, I think this mindset about his chosen pet genre has carried him this far. Good or bad, he doesn’t allow the general perception of video game adaptations within fan or film culture to worry his approach to it. That’s a big part of why Anderson is experiencing an unironic “renaissance” almost thirty years into his career as a writer and director."
My belated 20th anniversary retrospective on Resident Evil Remake and Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil is this week's cover story in Superjump magazine. Be sure to check it out!

So EA gave an ultimatum to Visceral Games: If Dead Space 3 didn't sell 5 million copies, the franchise wouldn't continue. [...] EA dug Dead Space's grave and made Visceral Games bury the franchise, only for them to be shut down and buried by EA a few years later. EA sullied the franchise and the game studio suffered the consequences, and I have no interest in rewarding EA for selling me the same game that they killed.

Splatfest Tips (All Teams)
Things I keep seeing happen that I'd personally love to see happen less:
-PLEASE be careful superjumping! If your teammate is in enemy territory and is surrounded in ink/in the open/etc, you WILL die upon landing (unless you are 100% confident in your Jump Roller/Dualies, but even then it's likely they'll catch you)
-Balance your ink-to-fight ratio! Don't hang back and spot clean everything, BUT don't forget to clean the big spots! Both can mess up your entire match.
(I've lost games to both: Passive players who never pushed out, and aggressive players who forgot HUGE chunks of blank space in our base that made us lose by like 5% despite us pushing)
-DO NOT RUN INTO SITUATIONS HASTILY! Aggressive play can be ideal but have a PLAN before you dive in! Farm those specials, use those bombs! Staying alive can be so much more important than rushing!
-Play to your weapon's strength! If you are a frontliner, don't hang back timidly! Push in, intimidate the opponent, take a few folks out carefully! If you're a support weapon, don't run in recklessly! Stay with your team, do what it takes to help them stay alive too!
-Stay Alive In The Last 30 Seconds, Oh My Goodness This Is How Matches Turn SO Quickly In The End
Your teammates will thank you if you keep these in mind! Good luck!

The Super Chump is a fascinating special weapon because  the way it exists simply doesn’t make any sense at all. It was described, officially, as a way to trick people who want to attack someone super jumping into getting blown up, but literally every part of its function beyond having a super-jump-like landing indicator works to ensure that situation could never possibly happen?  It launches 8 bombs at once in a small area, so the deception is negated by the fact that there are never 8 people on the same team superjumping to the same spot at once. The bombs take a very long time to explode after they land, so they’re extremely easy to avoid even if they managed to catch you off guard somehow. The bombs can be destroyed by attacking them (and again, take a long time to explode, so it’s not even particularly frantic), so they can be dealt with in literally the exact same way a super jumping player would be. What happened here. Who came up with this idea.  Surely this end product wasn’t what they meant for it to be

Superjumping to a random in a match is one of the many reasons I have trust issues.
