Ranking of Kara's past and potential boyfriends
These are all my opinion, feel free to have your own somewhere else.
1) Adam Foster- you might be thinking "who the hell is adam?" and it isn't surprising why. He is Cat Grant's eldest son and was on for 2 episodes in season. His character was great and it could've gone further. But the actor is Melissa's ex Br*ce J*nn*r so that is a BIG no no. Character is like 6/10. Actor makes it 0/10
2) Winn Schott- this poor dude deserves the world. He was always nice to Kara and supported her. But she just didn't like him that way. But he got to go to the future so he is happy. Overall 5/10. They wouldn't have lasted long or really grown much but he is a good guy. They are better as friends and as sci-fi geeks.
3) James Olsen- Honestly it could've been good if they didn't stop it like 1 episode in. James cared about her and while he kinda didn't trust her abilities at first, he grew to have total faith in her. After the build up s1 gave them, having them fall apart in the first episode of s2 was really annoying. Overall 6/10 cause it could've been great and they could've pushed each other to be better. Also he hot.
4) M*n-*l- this "lying jackass" ignored Kara everytime she asked him for the simplest thing. He didn't show her any respect. Then whenever he pouted Kara would forgive him instantly. S3 m*n-*l pisses me off because he acts like everything is fine between them and it isn't. It was never healthy for either of them honestly. While I do believe Kara loved him, it was not at all healthy. He also reminds me of my ex who did practically the same things. Overall 2/10 cause he's hot and Kara loved him. But it was. Not. Healthy.
5) Willi*m D*y- there is just no chemistry. Like, nothing. They are only being pushed together cause he's a guy and she's a girl. They both deserve better than that. I want them to be friends, maybe even take over catco together along with Nia. But like, relationship wise? There's nothing there. No reason to ship them together. Overall 1/10. He's good and wouldn't be bad to Kara but they just don't have any romantic energy towards each other.
Now the one I've been building to
6) Lena Luthor- Lena noticed Kara first thing. She was the one to suggest Kara be a reporter. Lena literally just showed up to her house to talk to her after they'd known each other for maybe 2 months? Kara was literally Lena's only friend, so she invited her to a gala. Then they hung out all the time. Kara blushes around her. Lena is reduced to giggles. The lip thing they both do. Kara constantly looking at Lena's boobs. This continues on for 3 seasons. Then s5 the reveal kills Kara. She just wants her friend back. They have so much chemistry between each other. Kara flies around the world to get Lena her favorite foods. She breaks into a us fort to get lex's journals for Lena. Kara saves Lena the most out of anyone in the series (except maybe alex) which is Lois and Clark's whole thing. Bridal Carry. And then the kicker, which parallels Barry Allen and Iris West, the world's most perfect couple. "Supergirl may have saved me, but Kara Danvers you are my hero" Lena said that all the way back in s2e12. Overall 9/10. Based off what they already are to each other and how much they can grow from each other and push each other to be better.
In the end, the relationship is already there. Everyone can see Supercorp. Hell even the actors support it. Including Staz who plays Willi*m. Supercorp is the only relationship that makes sense to pursue and become canon. And with how they are marketing the season, if they don't make it canon it'll be one HELL of a queer-bait.
Bottom line, Supercorp canon.

Not gonna say that I like the actors or dislike them but the male characters other than brainy and jonn are completely irrelevant, so many great characters that could have come back, cat grant, Sam arias, even Maggie and they chose the shit shows, the guys, we all basically know that william is gonna be the one dying, so why put him in the show anyways? Kara could have easily not quit and pursued the super friends story without having to juggle.
Even in the farewell panel, I thought that dc understood women empowerment, there was absolutely no need for mehcad and Chris to be there, staz is fine he didn't talk much and he hasn't said anything in interviews that makes us not like him. I'm a little biased towards Jeremy as I absolutely adore Winn but seeing as he was the one who started that anti supercorp song in that interview "it's never gonna happen they're just friends" I don't think I like him that much. They should have made the panel longer given eveyone a small chance to speak, without anyone guest stars unless they were women.
Why the fuck did kara quit, I get that she needed time to balance everything but that could have been done by adding more episodes before the whole nyxly drama or during. Why does william have to be the one helping her, it's clear that they want to make it some william saved kara and then died a hero shit but that's only for viewers who ship karamel or basically kara with any man.
If you wanna give kara a partner, even if it's male than choose someone who just supports her not who she supports, but looking at it clearly a male love interest doesn't make sense, they would need to make a character who was willing to not be egoistic, and seeing as they can't and the only two they have made so are dad and brother figures, I don't see male companionship as an option.
It's too late to introduce a new character and too early to say that kara is happy without a partner to be honest, supercorp makes sense, a slow built up relationship with ups and downs nothing too quick nothing too slow. Them getting together is the best endgame the runners could give kara,
Karamel shippers think that "ohh they were so in loove" or "ohh kara isn't over him yet" like no, kara showed him that she doesn't want him, maybe you're forgetting that he's married, sure they fought but not as much as m-hell and kara, he acted like kara was weak like she couldn't handle herself, he constantly lied to her without reason and he wasn't a viable endgame seeing as he's an fucking shitfull asshole,
__________________________________________
So anyways all I cared about in the new episode was Nia's first ever victorious solo (sort of) fight and her standing up to her sister, and ofcourse Lena's outfits, and Esme's drawings.
#supergirl#nianal#karadanvers#fuck you mon-hell#eating pancakes isn't a stunt chris#supercorp needs to be canon#kara deserves better#yes nia go off#supercorp#dansen

You really think supercorps gonna happen after everything?
Look, im realistic and i know that the odds are against us, but dammit if Clexa and Destiel can come through with last minute surprises then so can Supercorp.
Its the only viable option for them and they definitely know it. We just gotta wait and see if they finally grow the balls to follow through. It aint over till its over.
Supercorp endgame for the culture

You know what makes me really mad about Lena’s storyline? The fact that they paired her with James. She even said it herself in the Christmas-esque episode that they had no chemistry.
James on multiple occasions has said he doesn’t like nor trust her.
And up until that point, I don’t even recall them having a scene together that could just be my memory because it’s currently 4am
If they don’t want to pair supercorp together, fine. I hate it, but fine. Don’t want to pair her with reign or Alex either? Okay. Fine. I get it writers, even though it’s in KM’s dna to code every character she plays as a lesbian, you want her for some ungodly reason to be straight in Supergirl. Fine.
But pair her with someone good. Someone worthy of her. James doesn’t deserve her. She’s WAY out of his fucking league. She deserves an angel. Not a hypocritical douche.
Don’t want to bring a new character in either? Fine I get it they cost money and you killed off Jack. Probably the only person she actually loved.
But there’s still one viable option.
Winn.
They’d be a really cute couple. Hear me out. Winn actually admired her smarts and they worked together at the gala. They both appreciate how intelligent the other was in that moment. And like Winn is a nice guy and deserves a good girlfriend. His track record is sad, first pining after Kara who friendzoned him, then whatsherface the banshee. And then Lyra. Like Winn deserves something good.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll fight for supercorp until my dying breath, but if they don’t give us SC, can we at least let Lena be with Winn? Someone who’s deserving of her?
Anyway that was my two cents thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

dear supergirl writers (@thecwsupergirl):
with all due respect, hear me out. you know what would make lena luthor becoming evil (🙄) even better tv??? if kara and lena were falling in love when it happened.
if this is the route y'all are gonna take with lena’s character, this is your chance to make it interesting!!! lex and clark were best friends too before lex went dark. we all know their story– don’t just retell it!!!
this is absolutely a viable option for you as writers who strive for interesting and captivating storylines. you have the buildup (largely contained to subtext right now, but it is BLATANTLY OBVIOUS and LARGELY RECOGNIZED subtext), you obviously have the fanbase(!!!), you have the support of your critics and the media (please refer to the abundance of articles detailing the plausibility and potential of a romance between kara and lena as well as the natural chemistry in their scenes); you could do this.
if you’re concerned about losing fans or views, can i just say, the only fans you’d lose are the ones you’ve already lost by: a) pairing sanvers as an LGBT+ relationship in season 2, and/or b) disrupting hopes for kara/mon-el endgame with the introduction of mon-el’s wife later this season. so, you won’t be losing anyone you haven’t already lost. in fact, you’ll only GAIN the viewers who stopped watching the show in response to SDCC this summer.
i’ll save my thoughts and opinions regarding lena’s potential to become evil for another post, but either way, when it comes to #supercorp, you have just about nothing to lose and so very much to gain. i’m not saying you should, but you could.
(also, you definitely should.)
#not to mention the entertainment value of lena falling in love with sweet human reporter kara danvers while also turning on supergirl#only to find out they're one and the same#supercorp#scthoughts#sgmine#mine

I dont really want serious answers to this, im just venting, but like whyyy is the supercorp fandom suddenly so hated? (Outside of just general homophobia) Like it all of a sudden became a trend to hate the sc fandom and like a personality trait to some people its wild. Like yeah, we have toxic members, like any fandom, but some of them really act like we all got together to kill their family. Its nuts lmao
Add that to they way some people from the show itself treat us and whew, we really do be a punching bag lol
Eh, oh well. We're still the most popular and powerful fandom in SG (whether people wanna admit it or not). Not to mention all the talented ass people in this fandom constantly coming through with the fanfics and fanart. We've pretty much evolved past the need for canon at this point (not that canon wouldnt be awesome, itd be the right thing to do and the only viable option for them at this point, but if they dont, that blows but we'll survive).
We won on this front y'all, and if people wanna stay mad they can
