How some different Mistos would use the BOOP button:

OLC Misto: Sends one (1) boop to everyone in the junkyard. No more, no less. Turns it off when he's done. OBC Misto: Constantly sending evil boops, with maybe the occasional superboop, if he's feeling generous. Valentin's Misto (Vienna, 1980s): Super boops for YOU and for YOU and for YOU and is just spamming them everywhere. Spams Macavity with evil boops because he's a little daredevil. Guy-Paul's Paris Misto (1990): Boops for everyone, but especially for his himbo Tugger and a super boop for Munkustrap. Lindsay Chambers' Zurich Misto: Sends a little boop to a few people he hopes will boop him back. Tugger gets all the superboops, of course. Will send evil boops to Mungo and Teazer because he can. Jacob Brent's Misto: Spams everyone with evil boops and super boops - there's no in between. Tugger gets all the boring boops though, and Munk gets only super boops. Ricky Ubeda's B'way Revival Misto: Gives allll the superboops and boops to Tugger only. Everyone else gets at least one boop apiece, with evil boops reserved for Macavity.

ALSO ! some info for folks about sending special boops (under the cut in case folks want to figure it out on their own !)

SUPERBOOPS can be sent by clicking and holding down on the boop (seen on the dash) or paw (seen on the dash blog) button and waiting for it to flip back and forth once (so forward once, back once)

EVIL BOOPS can be sent by clicking and holding down on the boop (dash) or paw (dash blog) button and waiting for it to flip back and forth three times in total

idk if there are more versions, this is just what I remember from april fools ALSO ! you can boop yourself ! try it !

So, I have discovered that I can do evil boops. Can I ask, how does it show up??

"Mischief happening here" - it was red notifs first, then went back to superboop colors. I'm not sure if "revenge" gives you back evil boops Or normal boops tho - have I evil booped you back?

Ayy so fyi, to SUPER boop, you just hover over the boop paw button on someone's page (desktop) until its spins and then click! Edit: Also you have to watch it go clockwise once, then swing back counterclockwise to get the superboop option!

Edit 2: EVIL BOOPS. Watch the paw go clockwise then counterclockwise 3 times before clicking and the evil boop option appears 😈

How you can replicate boop without boop:

Like things (boop)

Reblog anything you like, have an aesthetic sideblog and a tumultuous main or vice versa (indiscriminate booping)

If you get a rash of likes or cool reblog notes go check that person out, or just cos you’re curious, like or reblog back (boop back)

earlier in the day i TRIED charging up a superboop extra to see if anything else would happen and nothing did so tumblr specifically held back evil boops till later to reignite our (my) insanity

What the hell were the cat boops? I only ever figured out the normal boops and superboops (well, and self-boops, but those weren't complicated). The evil boops were, I believe, if you booped with a particular person back and forth. But cat boops? No idea.

Also, I am kind of in awe of the absolute madman who booped nearly 130 tsd times. Did you even get to drink and sleep inbetween the boops?

Boop Breakdown
