one thing i fucking hate hearing is when people try to tell me that digital filmmmaking is better for indie filmmakers than shooting on film because of price.

all i really want to say is that no. it really fucking isn't. if you are doing a project where you can rent an Arri Alexa or RED cinema camera, no doubt could you afford to shoot on film.

joe begos just made a neon-drenched movie about a killer robot santa clause and shot the whole thing on Super16 film.

like you can absolutely shoot on film in a budget movie. anybody who tells you that its far too expensive is a fucking liar.

Synopsis: Danish short film from 2024. What happens when a crush draws two forces towards each other who don't necessarily speak the same language? When Silvia and Mikkel fall in love with each other, there is hope for understanding and recognition, but it all hurts when there is so much at stake.

The film is available for free, although, for those living outside Denmark, you might need to use a VPN to be able to watch it.
