also, the volks BJD version of the elizabeth OP isn't burberry cotton like the full sized one is, but more of a velveteen material.. i had no idea until it came in the mail and i'm pleasantly surprised--it's so soft!! i've never wanted to be a doll so badly T_T

I received my first ever Volks Super Dollfie in the mail today~! Her head sculpt is Nico and she’s everything I could have ever dreamed of <3 of course I also bought some gel fashion for her too~! I need to figure out a cute name for her, any suggestions? :D

My DSD Mai got a new wig yesterday! Essentially the same style as her previous one, but much longer with slightly shorter bangs.

I also brushed it out and cut a bunch of layers into it for something a little fluffier than the ringlets it originally came in:

My DSD Megu also has this same wig in a different shade, except I left the ringlets intact for her.

I'm so happy with Mai's new hair that I decided to leave her out of the box and sit with my SDMs, something I have literally never done with any of my DSDs lol. Once my doll room is all set up I'll be able to put them all on display (hopefully)!

A little funny to me that Mai has gone through 3 wigs since I got her, but I haven't changed her outfit even once since she arrived in 2021. I just love her original outfit so much lol

at Volks’ Dolls Party 5 in LA, my wonderful friend Maize and I welcomed (summoned!) this Yo-Tenshi named Sei via the Tea Party door raffle.

Sei-Tenshi is a full-on, real-life fallen angel, and I want an edgy look for him. it crossed my mind yesterday to try out some spare Shadow High clothes on him, and he’s eating this look alive.

I’m going to get him some socks and proper boots; I will poke around for body socks, too, because I don’t trust that this outfit won’t stain him. that said… he is living.
