i wanna give my fallout ocs cybernetics...
liu is just out immediately on the whole super mutant grounds thing but shes already had major surgery multiple times before/during very early transformation anyways it balances. and im not saying that because shes a super mutant she Cant have cybernetics cus in fallout 1 at least surgical alterations/reconstruction is clearly a significant part of the super mutant transformation its cus shes a halfsie whos neither a full mutant nor a human anymore and her body doesnt handle people poking around in it Well it doesnt like it even when the people are supposed to know what theyre doing. like you can know what to do with human organs and have to deal with her super mutant Bits and you can know what to do with super mutant bits but not human ones or you can know what to do with both but nor when theyre trapped in a transitional period where neither fully applies and her endocrine and immune systems are all over the fucking place
coeur meanwhile is a true dedicated wildcard forever and always i have no idea what mods she would give herself barring prostheses which i have never thought about in regards to her. but it would kind of make sense shes been a courier since she was 16 shes seen some action. maybe sensory reconstruction. partial deafness/blindness/lack of tactile sensation in individual fingers that had to be replaced or augmented. like she doesnt have a robotic Eye but she might have a robotic optic nerve. cochlear implant. and then the implants that the new vegas medical clinic offers like the regeneration and damage resistance. after old world blues shed take her organs back but then they still have mechanical Bits in them. shes like a secret cyborg its all hidden under her skin or at the edge of her hands
cassie would go hog fucking wild if the opportunity presented itself but theres like no opportunity in the capitol wasteland. but shed take whatever gives her in-universe special stat boosts. like if theres biomech implants that can make her more agile or perceptive or enduring or strong shes gonna take em. the nv med clinic implants would be big hits with her but they dont seem to exist on the east coast which sucks. but post purity shes a wanderer who mains a sword with a backup pistol and light armour for maximum maneuverability shes gonna take some damage. its possible she loses and has to replace body parts but im not sure which ones. but either way shed want cool shit like heat vision through walls or secret arm swords or shockwave punching so bad shed be a great cyborg
cassiopeia grabs everything the institute hasnt nailed down including kellogs old augments and grabs whatever unethical surgeons the commonwealth sends her way into jury rigging that shit into her nervous system like immediately. physically shes whole but on the inside especially within the brain it is very mechanical. she has an autostim injector and a pain dampener and something that ups her reaction speed and improves her balance and reduces her radiation damage. theres a layer of ballistic mesh underneath her top layer of skin that looks like metallic scales in high contrast artificial lighting. her eyes have a hud and the pipboy is permanently attached to her wrist after its been wired into her blood stream and bone marrow and central nervous system. her whole body is functionally a dead mans trigger that will explode if she dies in a violent manner and she has a secondary power system running through her heart, brain and digestive system keeping it all running that requires around 3500+ calories a day to function but she can go without sleep for weeks. she has more in common with 1st and 2nd generation synths than 3rd

TELEPATHY: an ability to read minds and project thoughts into others.
TELEPATHIC ILLUSION: nathan is able to create realistic illusions, and make people experience something that isn’t actually happening.
TELEPATHIC CLOAK: he can mask himself from being detected by someone else, and use this ability to protect others around him if needed as well. his abilities can go undetected, or on the other hand be counteracted by a telepath that’s more powerful than he is.
TELEPATHIC CAMOUFLAGE: nathan can mask the presence of not just himself, but anyone else around him as well. he can telepathically disguise himself, which means that his appearance would appear different. he can create disguises by changing their clothes to fit in when convenient.
MIND LINK: nathan can create a mental link with someone else or a group of individuals, but that connection will always remain.
PSIONIC SHIELD: the boy can create a psychic shield to protect himself and other people’s minds. he’s very skilled at protecting his mind from mental attacks such as other telepaths attending to read his mind, control him for some reason, or cause him harm. it’s not easy to get inside his head!
PSIONIC BLASTS: these have no physical effects, but do affect one’s mind. they’re psionic force bolts that cause his enemy pain, become unconscious, or even death.
ASTRAL PROJECTION: nathan has the ability to astral travel and communicate astrally. he has mastered this ability, and is able to remain in his own plane of existence or travel to other astral planes. he can create ectoplasmic objects here.
MIND CONTROL: an ability to control minds and bodily functions of other sentient beings.
MIND TRAP: he can take someone’s mind from their body essentially trapping them within his.
MIND POSSESSION: nathan can possess the mind of someone else, and use their body like it was his own.

PRECOGNITION: nathan can foresee events before they happen.
MENTAL DETECTION: he can detect the presence of another mutant in an undefined radius.
TELEKINESIS: he possesses a high-level of telekinesis. some even say that nathan is an omega level telekinetic. he has very fine control over objects, and can manipulate matter with his thoughts. his limit has remained undisclosed. he can levitate hundreds of tons of matter if necessary.
TECHNOACTIVE MANIPULATION: he can manipulate foreign techno-organic substances to a degree.
INTUITIVE APTITUDE: nathan can disassemble complex devices by separating every last component down to the nuts and screws. he can put all of the pieces back together again just as they were. this enabled him to gain awareness and control over individual electrons in an atom. he could detect whether oxygen molecules are present to see if a seal was airtight or not as one example.
MATTER ALTERATION: he can alter molecular and subatomic structures. examples include such as moving oxygen molecules to cause asphyxiation, or changing food into poison. he can also disintegrate objects by discovering their atomic and molecular bonds.
PSIONIC SPIKES: able to create destructive psionic spikes to destroy physical objects.
FORCE FIELDS: he can create protective force shields that can deflect powerful attacks. he can make these take the shape of his body by shaping it precisely.
CONCUSSIVE BLASTS: nathan can project energy that takes the form of blast beams directed from his brain.
TACTILE TELEKINESIS: can enhance his abilities to superhuman levels.
TELEKINETIC FLIGHT: he’s able to levitate himself across long distances.
TELEKINETIC TELEPORTATION: even without his bodysliding technology, nathan can warp himself place to place.
TIME TRAVEL: he can displace himself or others at any point in the time-stream with his psionic power. you reemerge anywhere from a few minutes to years.
TECHNO-ORGANIC PHYSIOLOGY: much of his body has been infiltrated and altered by a techno-organic virus. which took the form of cybernetics and bionics. essentially meaning part of nathan is cyborg — primarily his left side. this gave him super strength to  an unknown degree, as well as an increased resistance to harm. his entire skeletal structure has been replaced by porous — a marrow-filled organic metalloid bone replacements that don’t interfere with the creation of red blood cells. his central nervous system has been altered as well down to the atomic level, making his reaction time far better than that of any human.
SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH, ENDURANCE, SPEED, AGILITY, AND DEXTERITY.
CYBERNETIC EYE: his left eye allows him to see into the electro-magnetic spectrum. he’s also able to see through this eye too, and it also glows due to his powers.
CYBERNETIC ARM: his left arm is completely mechanical, and some of his shoulder as well.
OTHER ABILITIES:
MASTER COMBATANT.
GIFTED INTELLIGENCE.
TELEPORTATION: by ‘bodysliding’ he can teleport to virtually any area.
MASTER MARKSMAN.
MASTER SWORDSMAN.
three headcanons —
i. prefers to wield swords when it comes to  weapons being used in any fight or at least have one with him as an option. his reasoning behind this is that big guns were something that the older version of himself would use. he also likes energy weapons that are smaller in size —.although knows that isn’t practical for every mission, and just wishes that he could have a little collection to display in his room.
ii. he used to make sure all of his clothes would cover his metal arm growing up, not wanting to deal with the stares or conversations that would be started because nathan knows that he didn’t owe anyone anything which includes any story or explanation. although the boy has been settling in the city for a few months, forced to try living a new life without any possession of his weapons with only his powers at his disposal. nathan has been trying to be more confident and not covering his metal arm anymore. why should he have to hide?
iii. nathan doesn’t really keep it a secret that scott is his favorite. sometimes wondering if his left eye glows from having his father’s genes. on the other hand though — he prefers jean to madelyne.  the boy never keeps this a secret from anyone when it comes up in conversation. he’s honest about his feelings when it comes to the two of them. he worries about anything happening to his father so when scott has to go away for something important nathan takes half an hour to say his goodbyes.
four personality traits —
+ playful (nathan is more friendly and lighthearted than his older counterpart.)
+ protective (will do anything to protect those that he loves. he is fiercely protective over his family, his father especially. always ready to get in a fight.)
- pragmatic (nathan deals with things realistically. he prefers to look at the facts rather than what could or couldn’t be. which doesn’t sit well with everyone.)
- perfectionist (always wants things to go according to plan in the best way available. he throws a minor tantrum when it doesn’t go the way he wants it to.)
brief history —
nathan summers was still living in the future at the time when the ban went into effect, an eleven year old boy who had very different issues in mind. he was building a rebellion against the new canaanite tyranny which nathan promised to do with aliya and tetherblood. he didn’t know what was going on  in the past, focusing on his own time and becoming a military leader at such a young age. everyone saw him as the prophesied “dayspring” and “askani’son.” everyone held such faith in him to take down apocalypse, and so he founded the clan chosen. which continues the ways of the askani. those beliefs taught him that the past brings hope and how the timeline needed to be preserved. they held a lot of beliefs such as tiny winged wysps who held prayers. they had a ceremonial language, and unique martial art techniques. they also took on symbols of the phoenix and the scarred eye. which is why nathan has three scars around his right eye — three lines forming a look similar to a starburst.
nathan participated in many wars, growing up knowing little else, and having no idea about what was going on in star city.
not until being tasked with going back into the past to accomplish what his older self couldn’t — preserve the timeline. nathan took this very seriously, but while he resolved what was causing a  ripple effect in his reality, restoring it back to the way it should be, something went wrong. his time travel device was broken in the process of his fight. only allowing him to warp a few minutes to a few hours ahead in time or into the past. he was stuck here now, and would need to figure out what that what would mean for him now. everyone here was used to an older cable, but maybe there could be room for him too.
once nathan met his father he finally realized what the benefits are to manipulation the timeline a little. he would express fondness for scott, and was more willing to be friendly and sweet than the older cable would have been. he was at a different point in his life, and maybe this is what he needed. he got close to his father, and has been in star city for several months now working as a mechanic part-time to give himself something to do. it feels weird not to be a mercenary anymore, but misses the thrill of being part of a team so he was placed on the new x-force team.

Damned Lands (Dark Souls in Oceania)
Tumblr media
Damned Lands is a fictional Action/RPG/Brawler (Souls-like) videogame, partially based on island cultures of Oceania.
The Plot:
From the far west, a group of colonizers sails to the Tikitari archipelago. As they swim to the islands, they watch the sky turn blood-red and the clouds thicken: the storm begins. During this catastrophe, the entire crew dies, and the wreckage of the ship is cast ashore. The protagonist, a nameless young man or a woman, having swallowed water, survived and found themselves on the beach. The player wakes up from the fact that a seagull is trying to pick out their eye. Realizing that there is nowhere to go, they go into the forest shrouded in mist, where the game begins.
During the game, the protagonist will meet the alien culture of the archipelago, trying to survive and discover all the secrets of these lands. There are three major islands in the game, partially embodying the cultures of Oceania (Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia). Each island has its own original theme, one of the elements of the so-called "great stone", as well as special mechanics, defining the gameplay, checkpoint system, unique enemies, bosses, and artifacts. Also, on all the islands, the player will have to decipher a single ancient language and rise their level through the system of tattoos. After passing through the first island of Tunito Tingi, the protagonist can travel seamlessly between the remaining two islands and kill the bosses in any order. It should be noted that some rituals or mechanics may act worse on a "foreign" island, or not work at all, or vice versa, harm the player.
Islands:
The mythology and philosophy of the local peoples implies the concept of a "great stone", a lonely rock in the middle of the boundless sea. The environment of this stone is the fundamental virtues of the inhabitants of the archipelago, as well as the representation of the family: the sky-father is wisdom, intelligence, and reasonableness. Sea-mother is love, care, and loyalty. Stone-son is strength, steadfastness, and heroism. According to the legend, the island used to be the same lonely rock in the sea, but after the appearance of the gods, it was divided into three parts. Inhabitants continued to use a single language and contact with each other, but their traditions began to differ slightly.
Tunito Tingi (Stone) — a foggy island with rare forests, inhabited with ghosts and evil spirits. The role of main mechanics here is played by ritual masks, with the help of which the player can camouflage, summon, and control spirits. Each mask is divided into three classes: "transformation", "summons", and "power". The masks of transformation allow the player to temporarily become a ghostly entity in order to fool enemies or go unnoticed into closed areas of the island. Summoning masks provide the player with help of spirits. Power masks endow with a certain ability like super speed, breathing under water, or a temporary increase in all characteristics. The player will have to constantly switch between masks and choose the right one depending on the situation. Checkpoints here are the wooden totems scattered around the island. The function of dungeons with bosses here is performed by underground crypts of heroes of past years.
Galusobu (Sea) — an island shattered into many smaller islets, often flooded. The main mechanics is a ritual alchemy and potions that gain certain bonuses. For example, food which is needed to be crafted or beat out of enemies. In this case, the wrongly consumed food can send a powerful curse in the form of a debuff, and not all the food is useful on other islands. Besides that, the player needs to swim a lot and "survive" in order to become a hunter. Bosses dwell in underwater caves and temples. Checkpoints here are sole huts standing on islets.
Fataranga (Sky) — a mountainous island with the volcano in the center. The main mechanics of Fataranga is magical weapons that can be enchanted with ash idols, as well as a plenty of ritual weapons like staffs, spears, and bows with ornaments. Ash idols are trophies dropped from the powerful enemies and bosses. The powers of ash idols can be crossed, combining and strengthening their useful properties. An extensive network of underground temples and caves keeps many secrets and bosses of the island. Checkpoints here are the statues carved from volcanic rocks.
In the center of Kaporu Bay there is a lonely rock with an underwater structure beneath. This structure is opened with three key artifacts, dropped by the bosses. The final boss resides in the deep caves under the temple.
Bosses:
Tunito Tingi: 1) Maktoroo — a legendary hero of the past, the first and easiest boss. Overall, he is a tall but skinny aborigine in traditional clothes. Armed with a blade and bow, he summons dead warriors. After winning the player gets his power mask. 2) Somplea — an insidious witch, crossed with a predatory plant. She uses the environment to defeat the player. After death, the strongest transformation mask drops. 3) Langarigi — a shaman demon, a levitating mask without a physical shell. Using the power of all three classes of masks, Langarigi camouflages, summons minions, and becomes temporarily invulnerable. After death, he leaves a mask of summons, an artifact key, and a bow. 4) Beniaki — the first optional boss. A static idol, located in one of the crypts. When the player approaches, Beniaki activates and launches the battle, so the player needs to be prepared. Drops a special transformation mask that allows the player to become an idol for a limited time.
Galusobu: 1) Nakeran — the sea devil, a merman. He dwells in the heart of a half-flooded temple. He is a drowned man with scabs, luminous eyes, and a fin on his back. Nakeran is incredibly fast, and able to capture the player and push them out of the water onto sharp stones, which means inevitable death. After his defeat, magical fins drop, allowing the player to swim quickly. 2) Falivagu — the trickster, a half-crab mutant living in a cave. He is able to throw his claws, growing new ones. After death Falivagu leaves a magic claw-crossbow. 3) Groa Roa — the sea queen, a woman with a mollusk body. She resides in a deep cave under the island. In order to confuse the player, Groa Roa periodically releases ink flow. The most dangerous attack is when she grasps the protagonist with her tenacious tentacles. Groa Roa drops an artifact key and a harpoon-like spear. 4) Makane — the second optional boss. The guardian of outer waters, a giant bunch of seaweed. It might be hard to find at first, since it is located outside the island, in the open ocean, and the battle with it takes place at the very borders of the game map. After death it leaves an artifact that removes almost any curses of monsters and incorrectly performed rituals.
Fataranga: 1) Korkoroko — the bird king living on a high rock. Looks like a man with a bird head and feathers. He summons flocks of birds and tries to throw the player into the sea. The protagonist needs to dodge Korkoroko's attacks and keep the balance in order not to fall from the cliff. After death the ash idol of the wind and wings drop, allowing the player to float in the air. 2) Gwatuma — the stone mother, a naked and mutilated woman, chained to a boulder. In the first phase she sends a swarm of insects, in the second gives birth to rock babies on the go. After the victory Gwatuma leaves a special weapon that uses the power of ash idols as ammunition. 3) Bowabi — the volcano god, a golem-like ash colossus. During the battle, he brings down streams of magma and tries to crush the player with his weight. He drops the ash idol of fire, an artifact key, and the most powerful magical staff in the game. 4) Troktoa — an evil spirit residing in a secret cave. The feature of the battle with him is that Troktoa constantly seizes the weapons in the cave, and even from the player's inventory, forcing them to leave the cave. In the final stage, the boss breaks out to the surface and takes the form of a near checkpoint statue. After winning, the player opens all the checkpoints on the island of Fataranga, even if they has not advanced on the plot.
Final boss: Kahungaddarligvkdemnl'a — the ancient god of chaos, a chthonic shapeless mass of blisters, gills and tentacles. After the encounter he tells about his alien origin (the real name is Kahungaddarligvkdemnlplthamiufsfmmlfamofgsppgpohskdidohkpdlthofhapulaioadnfmtifstugnhdddnontfmgipambstpidnhpsldntmthtbskhloukoinnflgiukakddmtpduhgaffhtohfkndnbmsssktillpmhoktoosodshobmtgtifdpbbuinmipmdstfh'a).
The real story is revealed only after the victory over the monster: many years ago a meteorite fell on a single island, which brought a chthonic creature. The meteorite split the island into three parts, and the future settlers began to observe the phenomena of God. He opened them to magic and taught culture, but in return, residents had to sacrifice a new soul to him, in order to maintain his strength. The stronger the soul was, the more power Kahunga'a received. Dark magic was the most powerful kind of magic, but it was a thing that played a cruel joke with God: once a lonely witch reached such heights that she absorbed the powers of the whole archipelago. Having incredible beauty, she seduced Kahunga'a, thereby giving him all her energy. God took pity on the witch and gave her a month of life, knowing that she would not have time to give birth to a child during this time. However, the day before her death, the child was artificially removed from the womb by the members of the secret cult, which taught this woman magic. The demigod child was transferred into a female cultist with the help of an ancient ritual and immediately left the archipelago with the “guardians”, whose plan was to return and defeat Kahunga'a. Eventually, the child has returned, passed all the tests and came face to face with his father. After defeating him, the child became the new Kahunga'a. The mind of the First Child became the part of his own father, who decided to use it. Despite its godly essence, Kahunga'a was a mortal and was afraid of oblivion more than anything else. He realized that he had made a mistake when he allowed the witch to live. Observing the growth of his son, he mentally supported him, and since the very childhood he mentally attributed a hatred towards the cultists and programmed him to create a large family tree. To maintain his existence, Kahunga'a only had to hibernate for one generation, inspiring visions of the island to one of the descendants of the First Child. The new “hero”, according to his idea, should harden, go through all the tests, and become a source of magical power, in order to defeat Kahunga'a, merging with him and filling him with this very force, thus “reloading” the archipelago and mutating the former inhabitants, which had been already turned into monsters, even harder. The protagonist sailed to the island and survived only by the will of their alien ancestor, whose physical incarnation was a seagull on the beach. They learn all these details from the souls of their ancestors who have been languishing inside the monster for fifteen hundred years. Thus, all the heroes are descendants of the First Child, and the numerous letters in the name of Kahunga'a are the first letters of the names of the heroes who "defeated” him. In the final scene, it is shown that the hero merges with Kahunga'a, and another cycle begins: the first letter of the character's name is added to the name of the monster. In the post-credits scene we can see a new ship When the player manages to start a new game (NG+), the name at the time of the last completed game is saved.
