how do u develop ocs + come up with ideas for em?

honestly a lot of the proscess is Vibes for me. and they also tend to just appear in my mind and set up shop..hiwever! there is some prosees to it, seen below

so first i start with an idea that comes from. somewhere. anywhere. usually with some kind of outside influence like a freind sugesting we work on a story together or. a dream

next step is to figure out a couple things about the world its set in so i know what kind of situations i can put characters that exist in said world in.

at tgus point thw characters have started forming .like a star [start with a loose gathering of ideas and then that slowly gains gravity and drags enough in tostart glowing and set events in orbit around them

now. put those characters in Situations and based on the ideas ive got around them warch how they react.

give them freidns. people they love. and then put those they care about in situations and figure out how theyd react to that

aand at this point the star has proba ly dragged me into orbit to and i am but a vessel for the story.
