a/n ; i havent written like this in a HOT minute, but i hope you enjoy <33 dis so random and i just want to be evil and give a super sloppy villain creation 4 dabs with sword like action lol

A villain killer. Instead of being quote “heroic”, taking down a common thug for robberies and sending them off to jail to rot.  You were infamous for killing villains, the evilest people on the heights of wanted lists. You believed their evil deeds were only atoneable by death.

The death of your best friend made you this way, twisted the word “hero”.

Being a hero was putting an end to the evil, right? So why attempt to salvage the unsalvageable?

How could a hero who believed in the “ideal” heroic ways been what he was? Be so thirsty to surpass that in the process, have been the reason your best friend was engulfed by his power? 

You knew you were a hero, you were the ideal hero. You removed the gunk and nasty build-up that was sitting for long enough. You were cleaning the filth bit by bit.

Your identity has become one of Japan's largest mysteries.

“WHO IS KILLING VILLAINS?”

“WHICH HERO WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE DOWN THIS DISHONORABLE HUMAN?!”

Even the public wanted you dead, can't they see that they aren't looking into the details enough? They want you dead for killing the evil and don't see how they are protesting against the salvation of Japan. It was a hero that made you “evil.”

Dishonorable? 

You have had to mourn since you were 13 years old. Mourn a hero’s wrongdoing, Endeavor’s wrongdoing.

The League of Villains, although you didn't support the “prestigious” UA High. The attempt to harm children was enough for you to take action, and with enough investigation, you found a pinpoint location. 

8 elite villains and you promised yourself you'd rid the world of. You wanted them to fear the sight of your eyes, you didn't care if they wanted to rid All Might, you wanted to be an issue that lingered in the back of their minds. 

“WHAT IF THEY COME FOR US.” 

The night was foggy, and you stood crouched atop the first tower of the large mansion-like residence. Smoke floods out of the chimney fogging the glow the moon provided, and the little light from down below. 

It reminded you of the small fires he’d light at night to keep you warm. So proud that that had become an easy task. So glad that you were proud of even that,

The only villains you considered a real threat were the silver-haired man and the samurai. Which could go against your power, but with your lifelong experience, you saw no real problem.

5 of the core group had stepped outside in the courtyard of the home, which was listed as abandoned and vacant online. There was no sight of the leader or the man who wielded a katana. It was time to make a move.

You quickly scaled down the brick tower, your sword shrieking against the cobblestone.

Quickly a man began to panic, babbling on to himself like a maniac. Pathetic. Their attacks as a whole aren't impressive, considering the lack of response they have, or coordination. 

Easily taken down and put unconscious with a blunt strike to the head. However, you came across some trouble with clustering and having to use kicks or elbows to get them from surrounding you.

As they lay unconscious, the part that you found easy came. To stomp off the filth with the sharp end of your wielded weapon.

In the silence, cries muffled from what felt like afar, and you take in that the man who began to panic wasn't lying before you. The cries triggered your brain, nobody had ever gotten away, let alone run far enough to cry. 

Your mind plays the day you watched your young tears hit the black ash on the ground beneath you. When everyone tried to find him.  You were scared and wanted to run away too.

Sekoto Peak was a place of anguish. 

Were you feeling sentimental because you had to worry about another samurai? Did it remind you of him?

The harrowing clank of your boot hitting the cobble echoed in your ears, his arms covering the area of his torn mask before he released to look up at you. You felt different, the tears in his eyes, the true fear of death.

Is this how Touya felt when he panicked to attempt to extinguish his body?

You swing the blunt end of your sword into his temple, watching the man lightly bleed from the head. You stand still, pulling your hood from your head.

“Heh.”

A long rasp shatters the silence, and the swipe of your left blade strikes through the air.

You can't lose that katana.

A cold point pushes into your jugular, and panic surges through your blood. Your sword lifts instinctively and stops abruptly at the sight before you. Those eyes, they run you cold. Those eyes, you remember them.  

“Dad’s always with Shoto. I want him to come to Sekoto to see how my flames have improved. He set this fire under me and now that he can't put it out he's upset? He’s being cruel to me, he always has been. Thank you so much for coming up with me Y/n, I just don't know how to feel.”

Touya Todoroki stands before you in the flesh.

"You carry my blade?" He tilts his head at you, a boyish grin sitting plastered upon his skin. You drown in the depth of his eyes, like an ocean that has swept you up in an instant.

You feel the strain of your own eyes, if you blink, could he disappear from before you? Your heart twists at the sight of him, charred. You struggle to choke out the name. "Touya."

“Nuh, not anymore.” The grin that spreads across him is chilling, a splatter of blood sitting upon your face. He’s killed you without pushing the sword into your throat.

“I'm surprised you knew. Not even my damned brother did.” His voice is conflicting with your mind, it is trying to piece together the Touya you knew 11 years ago with the one that stands before you.

"I know, pretty disgusting."

He smiles, the cape that drapes your back is set ablaze and in a quick movement you rip it from your back, watching the blue-soaked cloak be consumed by his flame. In the process, he has slit the belt on your waist with one slick slash.

“What are you doing." It stings, stop it. No. Your tears have only been shed at the hands of Touya, his death. His flames became your tears the day he died, and they burn.

“You don't think I looked into you the moment I woke up? There was nothing, nothing!” You can only kneel before him in the state you're in. The reason you kill is because of him, and he has been alive. "You moved away, you weren't online, you had no fucking record!" He was acting like a maniac, crazed like you've never seen.

He continues on, even swinging his blade around carelessly. “Until I saw you sitting in Sekoto, visiting it like I was stuck beneath the ground and needed saving. I knew you were the only person who remembered “Touya Todoroki.”, and I had to wipe that name from the earth. Like shit stuck to the bottom of my shoe.” 

Your vocal cords are engulfed by the sting of tears and he steps forward, letting his sword shriek by his side. 

The cold metal settles at the bottom of your chin. 

You can't rid of the expression on your face and he's thrilled. “Then after not seeing you for years, a woman starts killing villains out of the blue. It was a goddamn mystery.”

The focus you had on the world has become impaired, you can hear your heartbeat in your chest. He doesn't care about you anymore, does he? Why do you want to feel his heartbeat, tear his heart from his chest, make sure he is real?

“Those eyes, you should know I'd know those eyes anywhere. All I needed was one glance, and I knew your every motive. They glew in vengeance, like my power carried on in them. You thought I was weak too, and you tried to cover up your evil deeds with the excuse that my death was my father's fault!” He cackled.

“That’s- that's not it Touya.” You've been lighten ablaze, and your tears uncontrollably fall and stain the cobble.

“Is that it? Anger, anger that I caused has fueled this monster before me?” A low chuckle falls from his lips, one that is filled with disappointment compared to the hysteric hiccups of laughter he was just sputtering out.

“Stop. Enough- I’ve had enough.”

His sword tilts your chin back up. “Now you've had enough? After you've mourned it's become enough!?” His voice rises, and your fists clench.

Your teeth grind together like bone, bone that can be snapped with a hit that lands hard enough. His bone will crumble like ash.

“Get up and stop me from killing you Y/n.” 

Your bones crack wrapping the blade of the sword, and you swing it into his blade, knocking it from beneath your chin.

“You should never hold the sword by its blade.” His swing sparks with your sword, and you freeze, before rolling to get to your feet.  You hate the fucking cold. Why are you so cold?

 “Just move, goddammit move!” You thought. 

You knew you were better than this, you just needed to move your arms. 

Another swing was speeding towards you, and your sword lifted to defend it. The moment the two swords collided, you felt you were present again. 

“You have to recognize your own body, if you don't, it'll never have time to know what your opponent is going to do next. You’ll be too busy figuring yourself out.” 

His words of the past conflicted with your every move. You automatically swing your blade downward, but he catches it. “I taught you that move you idiot!” You continue to struggle to land a hit, you have a specialty in mobility, but his work with a sword is unmatched. Until he leaves his chest open, you shove your forearm into his chest, and in his fall his blade slices into your arm.

You bleed over the cobblestone, and he is already getting up off his knees. Stumbling back your blood dripping blends with the scene of your tears when you stood in the ash of Sekoto.

“I was asleep for 3 years and you still haven't improved a bit! All that time, and you've still disappointed me. What potential will you reach if you can't land a blow!” His taunts pushed you further.

Rip his heart from his chest, you need to know he's real.

Your body pushes itself forward, leaping up. His sword tries to fly up into your leg, but your boot kicks it, landing your knee straight into the crevice of his neck.

You roll off after he hits the ground, and you're cold again when you see his cheek is falling apart. His eyes are filled with blood.

“You're a lunatic. Who are you!” You plead, why does he want to hurt you? The adrenaline is dying down and you're beginning to feel the depth of your injury. 

“Don’t pity me. You've always had that shitty savior complex. That's why you became what you became right? To prove that people that my father saved are supposed to be killed because he didn't even want to save me?” His hand twitches out in blue flames, and your body throws itself away before the burst flies up to where you were kneeling.

“You excelled! If anything, when he knew I couldn't be a hero he thought to even offer you training!” His charred laughs came breathless as he picked himself back up, through the smoke, the side of his face was streaked with blood. He drops the blade, letting it clank.

Your breath breaks and your voice cracks, a mixture of tears and screeched shouts come from your throat. 

“Why would you ever want to make that sick man proud Touya?! He created children to surpass a hero he himself couldn't! Why would you ever want to make that proud!” 

“You don't get it!” He shouts. “He lit that goddamn fire beneath me!” He’s slipping, struggling to lift his body as his flames grow stronger around his body.

“Maybe we can be heroes together! We can save people and be the best. That's all I've ever wanted, and I want you by my side.”

“If you can't even save yourself! How the hell are you going to save others!” He chokes out. The courtyard is filled with the glow of his flames, he's trying to pick himself up, but his body is ready to embrace death. He finally crawls completely defenseless towards you, dropping his heat-stricken body in your arms, his head rests upon you.

A large blast fields your vision, and you let it engulf you.

You were always consumed by Touya Todoroki’s flame.

“The katana is a blade to be held only by those with potential.”

His hair was so white, his arm burned just at the skin, his tummy with peeling skin. That's the Touya you remember, and the one you'll die remembering.

“Y/n.” You felt empty, he had taken off the charred mask from your face. The pressure on your arm was uncomfortable, but it was wrapped well, it didn't sting. His fingers run warm against your forearm that lays off the couch.

You're constantly homesick, and it's been that way since he died. Since that boy died, your blood has run cold, and you have become who you hated the most. You became a killer. You became his killer by ideal, kill those who are not worthy enough for you.

“Open your eyes.” It came more sternly than your name, and when you did, he was sitting in front of the couch you had been lying on.

At 20, you gave up looking. You had to believe that Touya was dead. He had been turned to ash and he was no phoenix that would rise from the ashes. You picked up your sword again and went to do what you believed in, a belief his flame created. What that death turned you into. At 21, you were already widespread.

“I'm sorry Touya.” The tears were already warm down your face, and the dried blood on his soaked the new streaks that fell.

You no longer had purpose to wield a sword, or to consider yourself a samurai when he was around. You were just you, and he was him.

He lifts from the floor, his blood-ridden face being the first thing you notice before it's his eyes, So struck. You push yourself up and his hand wraps around your torso.

"Damn you, I waited so long."

You were no longer a hero. You sought revenge alongside him, and he did rise from the ashes, he rose as an inferno.

Pokemon Scarlet/Violet - Voice Actor Headcanons.

So here’s the latest update of this little series on my blog where I assign official voice actors to characters that don’t have them. I also did this with the previous title, Legends: Arceus.

I have to reiterate the same points every time, but it’s just so we’re all aware - 

This is NOT CANON. These are HEADCANONS and are unofficial. It’s just a hypothetical situation. If the characters were voiced, this is who I imagine would voice them.

My full experience of anime is thus: My brother has a friend who use to come by with anime on VHS. The first exposure I got to anime proper was when he brought over a couple episodes of SLAYERS, next, obviously, Channel 10 ran Pokemon from Episode 1 to Episode 46 before inexplicably just restarting from the beginning all over again. Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon fought on Channel 5 during the afternoons. But Dragonball Z like...jumped around a lot. It did the Saiyan Saga, the Fake Namrk Saga, skipped the Freiza Saga and the Cell Saga and did reruns of parts of the Buu Saga. Then they stopped airing both and aired Cardcapture Sakura for a while there. Then they stopped airing all three. Then they eventually brought Pokemon to the WB on Channel 5 and Yu-Gi-Oh! Hit along with it. But, like Pokemon before it. Yu-Gi-Oh! Only ran from Episode 1 until JUST before Seto and Yugi fought to duel Pegasus. Then my family got DirecTV which opened up Cartoon Network to me and thus granted me access to .hack//SIGN which sometimes ran either before or after Samurai Jack and Courage the Cowardly Dog. From there I gained access to the Buu Saga of Dragonball Z which always just reset back to the beginning of the Saga when it got done airing. Then eventually Adult Swim hit and introduced me to Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Big O, Inuyasha, and SUPER MILK-CHAN. Then at random intervals Toonami stopped airing Adult Swim and starting airing the English dub of Naruto. And I got tired of waiting for them to dub new episodes, so I began the search online for Naruto episodes English subbed online on YOUTUBE at the time. Back when they split an episode in 3 - 6 videos and movies into 10 - 12 parters.

Toonami also eventually introduced me to Blood+, Bleach, and my all time love of my teenage life...Eureka SeveN. It also introduced me to Neon Genesis Evangelion and FLCL. You can blame FLCL and Super Milk-chan for rewiring my fucking brain. And unfortunately, anime youtube also introduced me to Elfen Lied which rewired my brain in a different way. Paranoia Agent on Adult Swim also made me fall in love with the late Satoshi Kon's work. Spirited Away hit America around the same time and caught on like fire causes me to go knee deep into that. But also there was 4kids Food Fighters and One Piece. Which...turned me off to One Piece cause that censored, puritan, chaste run of One Piece was...it was something.

And the rest is history...especially after Eureka SeveN that got me to want to absorb more long form narrative that was both SUPER bittersweet but super cathartic to see through to the end. Some people get super into Tolkien and Lord of the Rings. Some people get into Shakespeare. Eureka SeveN is what got me into long form narrative epics. Which hundreds of moving parts and a large cast of characters.

And then, as if the universe sensed that. A kid who use to live near me sold his Playstation to me for $20 along with--Final Fantasy VII. My first and only Final Fantasy really. I tried FFVIII years later but it never clicked, never picked up IX or X or X-2. Then Playstation 2 happened...and with it? Kingdom motherfucking Hearts and then the best game ever made, Kingdom Hearts 2.

Bounced between xXxHoLiC, D.Gray Man, The World God Only Knows, Deadman Wonderland, and eventually Berserk. And then from joined Final Fantasy XIV circa 2018. Susanoo subsequently killed my GPU but I eventually got a new one and joined proper during the dying days of Stormblood when Shadowbringers hype was going FUCKING STRONG.

Hey (sry if this comes across as super weird 😅 feel free to ignore!), but I am looking to publish my game through Hosted Games and I was just wondering if you would maybe willing to share your experience working with them?

Hosted Games has been very upfront and professional with me.

Royalties have been timely, statements are easy to understand, and they were also patient and helpful while I sorted out all my tax stuff with the Australian Tax Office (which took ages).

They take a big cut of your earnings, but they also have a very dedicated built in audience which I think does make a big difference to the bottom line, and handle a lot of the unfun stuff (like dealing with the app store and Steam) so you don't need to worry about that.

The community on the forum is also VERY good at sorting out bugs, spit balling ideas, etc, during the drafting process.

Release day was a bit janky. I didn't know exactly when Blood Moon was going to drop which made it hard to do much online to build up hype.

But overall, I'm very happy with the choice to publish via Hosted Games. It won't be for everyone or every game, but it was the right move for Blood Moon. 💙

I swear...People look at Earth getting super giddy with Moon about Barbies and go "see she already replaced Nexus" when...Honestly, it seems innocent, we know Earth has a hyperfixation with Barbie, and considering the other person who shared that fixation literally tried to burn her alive a few days...Weeks? Ago, I don't blame her much for seeing someone else she can share her hyperfixation with and getting excited to bond with this person who's supposed to be her other brother, she's also probably still reeling from the fact that one of the closest people in her life tried to murder her in cold blood without hesitation or remorse at least in the moment And people saying Moon's situation of getting info-dumped is the same as Nexus and no it isn't, it is similar but there are several key differences, such as how nobody is new to the situation, nobody just recently died, and everything was explained to Moon rather than him being told to watch the show, Earth was completely new to everything when Moon died and Sun at the same moment Nexus came online learned his brother was full-on dead and he really did fail to save him and Killcode is alive instead, and before anyone tries to blame those two for how they handled Nexus and go "see Nexus got it worse!", you try explaining to your amnesiac sibling who wears your dead sibling's face and has his voice the entire screwed up abusive history of your lives up to that point right after learning your old sibling is dead and its your fault, or at least you blame yourself for it, or being in Earth's shoes and having no idea what's going on whatsoever having just got back from the middle of nowhere after having your first introduction to your other brother...Who was suffering a catastrophic meltdown, Moon's current situation was far less novel or messy than that, and Nexus handled it all pretty well all things considered, things only went to crap after Solar died, he talked with Moon, had that weird waking dream, and then flipped a switch decided to toss everyone away, which wasn't connected since all the problems in the early days were resolved before that point

Yeah, Earth probably is also latching onto this Moon because he looks like New Moon.. so I think that she dissociates from the fact that New Moon almost killed her.. and she finds comfort in talking with Moon and Moon being so open also helps her feeling more comfortable..

I see similarly to Lunar's relationship with Solar.. because Earth did exactly the same thing Lunar did - she told her trauma right at the beginning just like Lunar told his trauma to Solar..

(this reminds me once again that with Solar it was different.. his relationship with New Moon wasn't as close and honest like many people like to think.. for me it looked like Solar treated Sun and Moon the way he did because of his trauma and I think that he saw it as the opportunity to not repeat the same "mistakes" though he wasn't at fault but still.. that's why he pushed away Sun so Sun wouldn't end up just like his Sun and that's also why he was hanging out with Moon a lot and tried to please him so Moon wouldn't end up just like his Moon - imagine how Solar will feel when he'll find out what New Moon did 😬)

And I absolutely agree that Old Moon's situation is completely different than New Moon's.. Old Moon was filled in the gaps but he isn't fresh new.. he dealt with various threats and tough situations before so it's nothing new to him..

New Moon on the other hand was.. new.. and he didn't experience anything yet so it was a lot to deal with when he had to already deal with a threat to his family and all that stuff.. and also he knew that he previously was an awful individual.. so he felt under the pressure but later things were okay.. his issues were addressed and Earth gave him support he needed.. but because Moon is paranoid and he has an ego.. things strated to slowly pile up after his conversation with Dark Sun - because it all started back then.. Solar's death was a final straw.. but tbh I don't think so exactly.. because he was allowed to grieve.. he was offered support and help and Sun even told him that they won't think any less of him because he can't bring Solar back because no one will sacrifice themselves.. and Moon even had mental breakdown - which was a good thing in such situation cause it let Moon out these emotions and frustrations that come with the struggle with loss and hopelessness caused by not being able to bring back a dear family member.. everything seemed rather okay even if Moon was grieving hard..

But then that talk with Old Moon made his insecurities even worse and then was that vivid dream - waking dream.. and I think that someone took advantage of Moon's vulnerable state.. personally I think it was Creator - or Sun really is a carrier for virus because of Creator's doing and when he took care of Moon after his mental breakdown (they were very close to each other then - Sun had to take Moon upstairs so he was touching him and we still don't know how the virus can be passed exactly from the carrier and what's worth to note is that Moon and Sun weren't all touchy with each other because of Sun's trauma - Sun didn't like to be touched by Moon that much)..

Virus still doesn't excuse Moon's actions because like we saw in Ruin's dimension that infected animatronics still were capable of making their own decisions and like Ruin's Creator said they could rebel against him.. so Moon could've fight with the urges.. but he gave into these desires pretty quickly - probably because Moons have the tendency to quickly give up when it comes to them putting some greater effort into something.. it's because of their egos - just like Eclipse said that Moon has a big ego just like him..

I also absolutely agree that Sun and Earth did their best with New Moon at the beginning.. Earth immediately tried to help both of them because she was created for that.. and Sun given his loss of his brothers which he felt guilty for and that he had psychotic episode back then and that New Moon looked and sometimes even reacted the same as Old Moon.. he did the best he could.. and he absolutely cared and loved New Moon (so people who say otherwise stfu) like he was always scared for New Moon's life and he trusted to leave things to New Moon and Solar because he knew that Solar will help and take care of Moon - imagine why Sun felt useless and an awful brother and why he thought that Moon might despise him /sarcasm

You're absolutely right about everything, dear anon. I wish more people would see that. Thank you for this ask/analysis ^^

Also, The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner has a smallish, but fairly active following on Tumblr, but it deserves the energy that is devoted to some more popular YA fantasy/historical novel series. <- All of these books are re-readable af, 10/10 no notes.

Ok some of these might not be uncommon but more so less talked abt by fans? So pls don’t hate meee lol. First is Joseph Sheridan le Fanu’s Carmilla, a classic for a reason and very easy to find as a pdf online!!! Byzantium is a great vampire movie, for anime recs there’s Blood+ (super fun monster designs!), Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (fantastic gorgeous animation and perfect if you like tragic romance), Shiki (manga is great too!) 30 Days of Night is a great not very talked abt vampire movie, the Strain is an interesting gory vampire show I haven’t really seen ppl talk abt. Daybreakers and Afflicted 2013 are some movies i haven’t really seen talked abt. On the popular suggestions topic my faves are the first and second ‘Underworld’s and ‘Blade’s. Super fun special effects, awesome outfits, awesome fight choreography etc etc!! Then we have Van Helsing. Is it a great movie with good acting? No. Is it fun as hell? Yes!!!! From Demons to Dracula: The Creation of the Modern Vampire Myth, by Matthew Beresford is an interesting vamp lore book I’m looking into.

A kinda silly rec is Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried (the wolf by fever ray is so fun omg). biography: Before the glam, Galileo, who goes by his middle name, Davon, lived a simple life. He never knew his mother and was stated to be born after his father and step mother had separated for a time. Davon’s birth mom was explained to have been decreased and when his father reconciled with his estranged wife, Davon was taken in and treated equally as part of the family that also consisted of two older siblings.

He was raised in Camino, California where his father was the owner of an orchard ranch that had been in the family for generations. Small town, surrounded by wilderness, Davon pulled his weight in helping around the orchards. His hobbies were fairly rustic when he was pulled along with his father and older brother on camping trips, fishing and hunting. He had an uncanny affinity with a bow and arrow as he discovered when he took up archery in middle school; although he preferred not to use his skills for the sport of game. Okay, I have one more question, but it's Blood Moon this time.

Now that the pack lives in a city (of course I'm assuming it's an ending in which they stay), what are the ideal jobs the various wolves want or hope to find? I know my MC would probably opt either for working security somewhere or, if he manages to do so, something music/singing related. He'd certainly revel in the fame!

As you know, Ed makes his money buying and selling things online. He's really good at finding stuff in junk heaps, cleaning it up, taking some photos, and selling it 'back to the rich people that dumped it'.

Roe, Farro, and Shawnie are drug growers/dealers and aren't looking for new employment.

As for the rest of them...

Marco will do literally any job. He's keen and good at making friends. I can see him doing almost anything. His weirdest gig has got to be that time Ed hooked him up with literal guard dog duty (who'd have known you could make money just hanging out on four legs in empty lots overnight?) but he likes people, so his favourite jobs are ones that allow him to hang out and chat with people.

Vicky's dream job would be working in a big greenhouse or garden somewhere. She loves plants and quiet, peaceful, (and above all green) places. Plus, she's super buff, so can lift massive bags of soil like they're nothing.

Carrie would love to go to university for graphic design... but she can't afford it. I can totally see her selling her art online though. I think she'd really enjoy that.

Sergi took over Marco's guard dog job. He likes hanging out in empty lots in wolf form overnight.
