regarding ICE as someone who has done some reporting on it and talked to both ICE and immigration lawyers
in different states, there are often different levels of law enforcement with ICE. california, for example, has the california values act and so in many jurisdictions, law enforcement is less likely to involve itself with immigration matters. pay attention to the history of your area's compliance with ICE. it also means law enforcement may not know ICE is around.
ICE vehicles do not have to be marked. oftentimes their enforcement and removal cars are not marked as "border patrol" or "ICE" or anything. their plates are usually "exempt" plates.
ICE officers are SUPPOSED to wear identifiable clothing and gear when performing operations, but are often in plainclothes, even during operations.
for reasons above, it might not be obvious that ICE is in your area or that a car you see is involved with ICE operations. FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH LOCAL COMMUNITIES. trusted nonprofits and people who work with undocumented and nonstatus people will often be keeping tabs on ICE. law enforcement in some areas may know as well. find out if ICE is in your area through vetting sources and then keep tabs on them too.
try to provide information in as many languages as you can.
tell people: ICE NEEDS A JUDICIAL WARRANT TO ENTER YOUR HOME--not one signed by a higher up ICE official, it MUST be signed by a judge. ICE may insist that they don't need a warrant, that they operate differently. they are using scare tactics.
lastly, regardless of your immigration status: KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. you can access the Immigration Legal Resource Center's red cards page, which can express your rights in a legally defensible way when ICE comes to your door. print some for your community. distribute them to people. they can be a useful resource! (https://www.ilrc.org/red-cards-tarjetas-rojas)
stay safe and protect each other, especially the most vulnerable groups among us.

Today, after 15 months of torment, displacement, and living in constant fear, my family and I find ourselves in an unbearably difficult situation. Life has become a daily struggle, and everything we once knew has turned to darkness. The impact of the genocidal war against Gaza has torn us apart, leaving us facing hunger, disease, and a deep sense of loss. Most devastating of all, my sister and I have been unable to attend school, robbing us of our dreams for a better future.
Now, as we prepare to return to northern Gaza, where our home once stood, we carry with us the immense weight of loss. Our home is destroyed, and the emotional and physical scars are deep. The pain is unbearable for my family and me, but despite it all, we have not lost hope. We still dare to dream of a brighter tomorrow—a future where we can rebuild what was taken from us. My personal dream is to continue my education and achieve the goals that have always been within my reach, but now it seems so far away.

However, the road to recovery is long and steep. The cost of rebuilding our lives is overwhelming. Everything we once relied on is either gone or too expensive to restore. The price of basic necessities—food, medicine, shelter—has skyrocketed. The infrastructure is shattered, and even getting the most basic supplies has become a daily challenge. The war has left us with nothing, and with the added financial strain, continuing our education feels impossible without help.
This is why I am reaching out. My family and I need your support now more than ever. We ask not for pity, but for your compassion, your prayers, and your belief in a brighter future for us. We need your help to lift us out of the darkness and give us a chance to rebuild. My sister and I can’t continue our studies without your assistance, and my family cannot start over without your support.
I am Ahmed, and I am asking for your help with the certainty that there are still people like you in this world who believe in second chances.
Please, help us rise again.

Yesterday, a full agreement was announced on all the details and it was said that the ceasefire will be implemented on Sunday afternoon.
These three days will be more difficult than the past 15 months, as the occupation has committed a large number of massacres and killed many people, the number of whom has reached more than 70 martyrs so far, who were eagerly waiting for the ceasefire. The crossing will be opened soon.
I ask you to donate to us so that we can leave at the first opportunity. Please donate.

If you live in the USA and you're pleading for donations to pay your rent, bills, or get food then dial 211! Please dial 211 before the last minute!
It's a toll free service with people who will help you find programs in your community to pay those bills, find food, and find housing! They will give you numbers to call so you can get help.
It is not 100% foolproof. Their job is to direct you to a program they believe will help your current issue, but it's still a step up from praying random strangers online will give you enough cash before a deadline! The added benefit of these community programs, which get funded by the local government most of the time, is if there are more people using them then they can get more money to help more people.
You're not taking resources from other people if you use your community services. Your taxes pay for them. Use them.
Dial 211 first to see if they can help, and if for some reason they can't, then make your donation posts!
