Dancing Rasta x Dooma

Ship Headcanons:

One of them's a guy who likes to avoid conflict and the other always has fuel for one fire or the other.

A few weeks into the relationship they come to the agreement that they fight their battles seperatly unless otherwise asked.

Old married types; forehead kisses, side hugs, brewing tea, cutting fruit, cooking and baking togeather, stifling silence after the argument, sweeping things under the rug maybe a little too much, reaching for eachother in the darkness of the night, tender love making, even more tender promises.

Both teams are worried mostly for Rasta and the teams succes but y'know. İ.U is worried that Dooma might pull something that Vince can't cover up and Strikas are worried that they switched Rasta with a body double or something.

Dooma likes resting his hand on Rasta's throat or chest to feel his rise and fall it's threaputic to him. Rasta likes to run his fingers through Dooma's hair the rough bristles are comforting to him.

Quiet times are precious to them.

Their relationship is built on mutual trust and understanding which gurantees that it'll last long despite the scrutiny.

With that being said whenever they have an argument it takes them a bit of time to reconcile, that isn't to say they're at eachother's throat untill then it's just a bit...tense.

Rasta is more of a words sorta guy if he feels to blame than he'll tell Dooma he's sorry and if Dooma is to blame and he's given his apology than he'll just tell hım it's all cool now.

Dooma isn't the best cook he leaves that up to Rasta in turn he accepts that the things they bake togeather might be a tad burnt or tasteless.

Dooma's favrouite treat is plum tart and Rasta's favrouite is passionfruit.

Occasionally İ.U and Strikas will get togeather for a barbeque and the first few times you could cut the tension with a spoon and serve it with some gravy.

Dooma has incredibly tense muscles and occasionally he'll ask Rasta for a message.

Rasta likes to read and Dooma likes to rest his head on his shoulder as he reads.

They're not public mostly because they don't need to, they're not the type to show off, alsoo Dooma just dosen't trust people like that.

Dooma will occasionally bring Rasta lunch just to piss Coach off.

When they inevitably tie the knot the teams -expect for the coaches- are on better terms due to exposure theraphy it's a calm quite little get togeather in a lovely garden with their friends and family that is untill somone spikes the punch and shit hits the fan. All in all it's a lovely quite memorable day.

They refer to one another as 'the ball and chain' jokingly.

We know Supa Strikas always come out on top when the opponents attempt to sabotage them, but which opponents would fail to which opponents sabotage?

Would Technicali be scared to death by Grimm's weird mansion they let them stay at? Would IU fail to ruin Toni Vern's weird inventions so in the end Technicali wins the match? Would Hydra get Psychologically manipulated by Iron Tank's tactical division? Would Orion just confuse the hell out of Palmentieri?

First of all, if the creators wants to "Start Over" let them be, but make the series not only for kids, for Adults/Old Sups strikas fans

First of all, is there a comic of the introduction of North Shaw?like how he joined, whats his life before Supa strikes. The man needs his Lore right away

Mia, i wanna see one of Coach's family members come to place, in the comic, Shakes and El Matador fight over this girl and try to get the title of "The man of the match", but in the end, he already had eyes on someone else already.

i think she will get hate from the fans, but i would be very happy for her to appear in the series!

The introduction of El Matador along with blok and twisting Tiger, since Rookie season didn't follow the introduction of those guys rom different team, so it would be great if they make this comic into episode 1 or any number. Plus: El Matador's old team will make a appearance some time episode

Sometimes, i want Supa strikas can be light hearted and dark sometimes in the show like they did in those episodes

Dating Headcanons:

Okay sooo he clingy ngl here, he clingy and needy it's cute untill it isn't and i don't really see him as the type to back off and give you your space without taking it the wrong way.

He dosen't stay mad or sad very long dosen't really see the point in properly understanding what led to the argument or whatever it was but will try.

Movie dates, shopping dates, arcade dates, taking you to his special spot date, cuddling under blankets and watching your favrouite stuff date, (trying to) baking dates, he wants to see you happy he's down for any date long as you are.

Dosen't like to talk about his work very much as the public preception is of him being a 'supa sub' and he never really feels essential or appriciated in the team so he tries not to drag that into his private life.

Will teach you a few tricks if you ask though.

Gets you funny little random gifts for you everywhere he goes, he'll tell the team that he's getting a gift for Aunt Hilda and they'll be like 'a heart shaped nose ring? for your auntie??'

Heart shaped anything (jewlery, candy, ciggarets if you smoke, tea sets, pens, lens), random snacks with odd flavours, couple's shirts (no pressure doe) sappy rings and the list goes on and on.

Whenever he's watching a sunset he wishes you were there with him :(

Will introduce you to his family but not to his team as again he's insecure about his football career and this relationship is something he holds really close to his heart he dosen't want it tainted by that, so you're most likely not public either.

Saying all that some members of the team will meet you anyway because y'know (cue plotline about Klaus having a secret spouse and the team not believing him)

Likes the idea of you too living togeather but won't bring it up unless he thinks you're interested.

Klaus vapes btw he might just get you to start too.

Again will teach you tricks. He's a good teacher really patient too, might even teach you a bit of german if you're up to it.

Holding pinkies and swinging hands, holding onto your arm or shoulder, running your hands through his hair maybe even braiding it, kisses on his adam's apple and his knuckles, smoke kisses, side hugs, rubbing noses.

Sometimes he has problems with social cues and whatnot so he'll just give you this 'fucks goin on' look in the middle of something.

He hogs blankets and whines if you ask for them back. Might also ask you to lay on top of him sort of like a heated weighted blanket.

He'll randomly just spill to you about all his insecurities and grief one night just before bed and then will pretend it never happened the morning after.

if y'all ever break up it's clean and quite not to say it dosen't hurt or that he dosen't miss you he just has a way of keeping it hush hush.

Might not stay friends but you can always rekindle the relationship.

I've fallen into, and in love, with the Supa Strikas fandom, so I decided to add this to the growing collection of posts. This is just my personal takes on the team after a few seasons. Might do more of these but IDK.

What I expected: FIFA 25

What I got: Family of adopted, dysfunctional man children and their Soccer Mom go on extended business trips all while dealing with the neighbors from hell.

Coach: Level 100 Soccer Mom just waiting to unleash his inner Karen. Probably encourages his kids to pick fights with old man Vince next door.

Dancing Rasta: 'Dad'cing Rasta indeed. Has to keep reminding mom Coach to take the kids team out for ice cream after they win a match. Someone needs to get this guy a 'Licensed to Grill' apron.

El Matador: Every cartoon has that same obnoxious, narcissistic, drama queen stereotype that never fails to get on my nerves. But not this one. This particular obnoxious, narcissistic, drama queen? This one is special.

Twisting Tiger: Chaotic middle child vibes. The writers missed a big opportunity to make him the SS resident troll.

Cool Joe: I'd make a joke about Cool Joe being "That Guy" who listens to Disney music while at work, but I'm pretty sure he actually has a workout track of Disney songs he brings to practice.

Big Bo: I saw this guy and immediately thought, "Oh wow, he must give AMAZING hugs"

Blok: Man of few words with amazing dance moves. Seriously, shame on the rest of the Strikas for hating on his music taste.

Klaus: Let's face it, we've all been Klaus at some point in our lives

North Shaw: Remember that one post about, "If you've been enemies for X long, you're no longer enemies, you're just gay but won't admit it"? That's North, except instead of kissing Liquido he's just gonna deck him.

Shakes: Shakes being Supa Strikas little brother is 100% of the reason to watch Rookie Season. I mean, it was painfully obvious before, but they don't even try to hide it.

1) How in the world did you end up in this little football fandom of ours?

I knew Supa Strikas as early as 2011; I started watching it around Season 2. I just didn't expect that it'd have a fandom here on Tumblr bec I admit that it's not as mainstream as Star Wars, LOTR, or Harry Potter, so seeing everyone here was truly a surprise.

And to answer the question what brought me here only now? Early in July 2024, I decided I want to franchise a Caltex.

Because I remember they sponsored the Southeast Asian release of Supa Strikas (I'm not sure if I got the details correctly) and I love the show so much that whenever I see a Caltex, I remember the show. And I got the idea of franchising it because there's this one Caltex in my home town that is very beautiful and everytime I go past it, I always whisper "I'll build one that's prettier."

2) The youngest memory you have of Supa Strikas.

Okay, this is somewhere around 2009-2010, I was ten years old. It was the very first time I saw the commercial of Supa Strikas on Disney Channel. Me, my sister, and my uncle all commented on the Caltex logo on their jerseys.

The first time, I saw the actual show, I wasn't interested. Then, my uncle's son (my cousin) love football so much that he started to watch the show. At some point, my sister and I joined watched one episode with him (I think this was Led Steppin) and found out that the show was so good.

Then I have another early memory, I go back to it a lot because of the choice I had to make. Back then, we didn't have the convenience a streaming site offers so when two shows or movies air at the same time, we had to choose one. My sister and I watch Supa Strikas on its late night encore because we can't find the time to watch it during daytime, and while waiting for it, we switched the TV to HBO and it was The Lovely Bones. We decided to watch it while waiting for SS, then it got so interesting we almost forgot to switch back to Disney. But before switching, we both stopped to decide. My sister asked, "Do we continue the movie and skip Supa Strikas tonight?" And I really did spent a moment to think, but my answer was, "Nah, I won't ever sacrifice Supa Strikas for this." The episode was Dancing Rasta on Ice.

3) What character do you wish we could have more of?

This is a fun question because I've been thinking about this lately: since we already had Rookie Season why not try to make another prequel series where it was the era of Coach and everyone else? Remember that one episode they entered a game where they played against the greats? I'd love to have a spin-off about their era.

4) Out of any background character from Supa Strikas, which one do you think should come back as a recurring character more?

Kat. Because I'm gay for Kat.

5) Any ships you ship?

Shakes x Riano. Platonic or no, I love them sm.

6) For any Supa fan, which team from the Supa Strikas Universe would you play for? And why?

Barka. Because there is nothing more I want than to be meters away from Riano.

Or I could also play for Nakama. So I can be close to Miko.

And this is the only Ask I'm going to answer for now because I honestly haven't seen Rookie Season yet. It's like since I knew Shakes and Skarra used to be friends and parted ways as early as 2011 (meaning for more that half my lifetime), I kinda think Rookie Season is something I'm not yet ready to unpack.

For some context, yes these are the same people but they are in different universes.

You know the Music Husbands, Accordion and Violin, on the right hand side from the THSC universe. Also known as Oliver Arc and Trent Coil, two former members of the fallen Music Dragons clan who joined the Toppat Clan, as they had been promised safe haven from a past leader.

But on the left hand side is Oliver McArthur and Trent McCoy from the Supa Strikas (SS) universe. They are captains for a football team called The Silver Lions, a returning team to the Super League. And yes, they are married in this AU, with both of them deciding to go with the surname ArcCoil when they do get married. This is also the original universe where I first created them, along with the other Music Dragons. They were originally boyfriends but I said “fuck it” and had them get married before joining the team.

I think you can see the pattern of what sticks whenever I place the husbands in different AUs, lol. I'm also working on a proper reference for the boys so watch out for that in the future (it's gonna be a while)
