Hi, have some Wolf's Bane doodles

I've changed Philip's design because I can't really look at his old design anymore because of stupid reasons, but I think the direction I'm going in is better. He's inspired by 90s Seth Green, specifically his role in the movie Ticks. I also did some werewolf experimentation but I think I prefer the look I gave them beforehand.

Cody and Jason have changed the least during this design update crusade lol

Here's a first look at a redesigned Wandering Cryptids band woop woop! Included are the bois' face claims.

I'm just gonna come out and say it; I'm doing a soft reboot of the Wandering Cryptids series. I'm just not happy with how the story is going, and my influences/ideas have changed since I started this project three years ago. I've also been extremely slow at working on the damn comic, like I can't believe I've been doing it for two years, yet I only have four episodes done. (Episode four's not even finished lol)

So, since I'm adopting this attitude of "Fuck it, We Ball" for the new year, I'm gonna do what I really want and give the Cryptids a soft reboot. I'm gonna take some time to do some rewrites for the chapters, fix the timeline and write proper scripts for each episode. It's time I take this more seriously and plan things better than fly by the seat of my pants like I normally do.

Anyway, I'll work on a new lineup and story stuff soon, so for now I'll leave you with a revised playlist for the band:

Sharing some older drawings of one of my music ocs; Jake Ruben.

Jake is a teenager who has a very successful career as a teen idol during the late 60s and throughout the 70s. He starts off as an actor and later gets into music, which leads to him making connections with The Wandering Cryptids and joining their "Circle of Fools" group.

He's one of my favorite music ocs because his story is about overcoming trauma, self love and growing as a human being. During the height of his career and later fall from grace, he struggles to see himself as a person because almost everyone around him uses him and push him into being whatever they want him to be. He feels like he can't be who he really is because he fears rejection, so he constantly masks and hides himself from others. As his story goes on, he slowly heals and learns to love himself and others, as a few people make positive impacts on his life.

There's more to talk about but my brain is foggy and his Toyhouse page is not updated right now, so this will have to do for now. Enjoyyy

Redesign for my oc Roy, a stock car driver from the 60s. I also drew her gf Dawn. <3

Roy is laid back, cool and a daredevil, and she loves fast cars and hot dogs. She’s always getting into trouble, and a lot of times Dawn has to get her out of it.

Some design tweaks for Wolf's Bane. I was gonna add Jason and Cody but overall I think they're fine, plus I didn't want to keep working on this lol

Anyway, I used references/face claims a lot more for this, because I wanted to try new ideas and I think overall they worked out really well. Ngl I like Jesse with shorter hair! I might make it a bit longer but in general I think it's a good look for him, same with Thor.

I really like how Garry came out...A friend of mine introduced me to Rossy de Palma recently and I was struck with inspiration to give Garrbear a makeover. I'm quite happy with this <3 Also really like giving Red more of a Rockabilly vibe.

Yeah, they're both part of the Southern Rock band Rattlesnake. Lamar is one of the drummers (there's two) and Bill is the bassist.

They've been best friends since childhood, and they've been in the band since the beginning and are still active members along with Dale Gator. (The lead rhythm guitarist and leader of the band)

Here's some slightly old art of Rattlesnake since I don't have an up-to-date lineup yet. (NOTES: Rory's name was changed to Duane, and Statch was made guitarist #3)

Sorry I made another band oc please kill me already.

This is Soul Monkey, a 5 piece Jazz Fusion band piloted by Hoops McCann and Dan Steel. From 1970 to 1984, the group consistently put out albums that were witty, soulful and socially conscientious. Their music has been described as being both brilliant and pretentious, and it's one of those things where you either love it or hate it.

Hoops and Dan have been friends since highschool, and have a kind of relationship where they can't stand each other but also can't live with out one another. Hoops is the lead singer and main keyboardist/piano player, and is a moody bastard who tends to think he's smarter than everyone else. Dan is the soft spoken guitarist who prefers to let Hoops do all the talking while he serves as the band's Pretty Boy. Both men are pretentious and write their songs together.

Hoops and Dan are the only consistent members who've been in Soul Monkey throughout it's entire existence, while their bandmates and extra members have come and gone and changed several times. (Mainly because Hoops and Dan are annoying perfectionists who drive everyone insane) At some point I'll draw the three other guys who've been in the band the most, but Dan and Hoops are definitely the main focus.

I don't have a playlist for them yet but I'll make one soon...For now just have doodles.
