you sniffle as yeonjun places a bowl of porridge in front of you, wiping your watery eyes with the ends of your knitted jumper. "thanks, 'jun."

"of course, pretty." he smiles, leaning down to dab at your damp cheeks. you let him do it for you, his touch so delicate, as though he thought you'd crack without it. he finished his ministrations with a tender kiss to your puffy cheek.

"'m gonna get some jam for your porridge."

your face lights up a little. "raspberry ?"

you can hear yeonjun chuckle as he rummages around your cupboards, fetching an unopened jar of jam before he makes his way back to you and your steaming bowl of oats.

"duh, what else." his lips quirk up as he let a dollop of the sweet spread melt into your food.

choi soobin

→ takes you on a walk

you let out a yawn, the chilly air filling your lungs as you continued strolling down the narrow road with your boyfriend. his gloved hand was tightly clutching yours, making sure to keep you on the inside of the pathway and away from moving cars.

"you look so cute, all bundled up like that." soobin chuckles, staring down at you with his scarf and earmuffs practically swallowing you whole. and a fluffy coat that fell past your knees just like he insisted.

"I really think you should have worn gloves like I said..."

"binnie, I'm fine, I promise." you smile lovingly, leaning against his side as he kept your hands warm in his. with him, you already felt better and your heart a little lighter.

choi beomgyu

→ tries to cheer you up with his jokes

"what ? you didn't think that one was funny ?"

he's grinning, and you're trying your absolute hardest not to as well. your hardest wasn't enough though, apparently.

as soon as Beomgyu sees your lips quirk up —even if it's the smallest smile to ever exist— he's wrapping you in his arms and squeezing tightly.

"ah, see ! you do think I'm funny !"

it's not even the joke itself that makes you laugh. his smile is contagious, and even if you wanted to stay sad and wallow in self pity some more you couldn't, he wouldn't let you.

"mmm, maybe a little..." your arms slip around his waist, squeezing him back as you sigh contently into his warmth.

kang taehyun

→ reads to you

you gazed up at taehyun as your head rested on his chest. just simply admiring him while he read to you. his voice was gentle and soft, adoring brown eyes flicking across the page. you had always loved when he'd read to you, especially when you were feeling down. he always managed to help.

he stole a quick glance at you, wondering if you'd maybe fallen asleep because of your stillness and silence. but when he caught you staring he let a small smile stretch out on his lips.

"do I have somethin' on my face ?" taehyun chuckles, placing a thumb in-between the pages of the book so as to not lose his place. you smile in return and brought a hand up to the hair which framed his face, tucking it away from his eyes and behind his ear.

"no. jus' wanted to look at you."

he grins, pressing a chaste kiss to the tip of your nose before continuing to read to you.

huening kai

→ doesn't let go of you

your room was blanketed with darkness, soft breaths and whispers of sweet nothings filled your head. the gentle scent of kai's cologne wafted around the cozy room. your boyfriend had you pressed against his chest, and he made sure to keep you close when he tangled his legs with yours.

"are you feeling a bit better ?" he asks softly, his voice barely above a whisper as he let his thumb draw circles on your lower back. you hum at the soothing action, sighing contently into his chest.

"mhm, 'm feelin' a little better. thank you, hyuka."

kai smiles and presses a warm kiss to the top of your head, pulling you even closer until your nose was pressed into the juncture of his neck. the two of you lay there with one another in a comfortable silence, exchanging tender and chaste kisses as the melancholic feeling faded from your body.

beomgyu buried his face deeper into your neck, holding you even closer, unable to get enough of the feeling his body touching yours, skin on skin burning so deeply against each other. you could his hot breath against your collarbones, silky hair tickling your skin.

“are you tired?”

beomgyu didn’t open his mouth to speak, he couldn’t even find the energy to move a finger; his deep hum that you interpreted as a “yes” vibrated against your body. you combed your fingers through the strands of his hair, occasionally letting your nails gently scratch against his scalp, making a soft sigh escape his lips. beomgyu didn’t have to pretend that he was okay with you. he didn’t have to put on a facade, to hide away his emotions, his stress and worries. with you, he could just show his true, raw self. “i love you” he whispered so softly against your skin, that you were unable to make out the words he was saying.

“hm? what did you say, gyu?”

he pressed his lips against your collarbone, then left a kiss on your neck, then another- and another. you didn’t question his actions, simply enjoying the feeling of his plush lips on your skin. he lifted himself up from his position on your chest. his lips traced a path from your neck to one of your arms, then back up and onto the other, to treat it with just as much care and attention. beomgyu took your hands in his, interlocking your fingers and pressing them down on the soft pillow above your head. he gave you another kiss, this time, on the corner of your jaw. he brought his face closer to yours until your noses touched. he closed his eyes for a moment and smiled, biting down on his lower lip, then he looked directly into your eyes as he whispered once again:

“i love you” he stared intently at you “i love you- so much.” your heart’s pace picked up, burning from the amount of love you held for him. you glanced over at his lips, begging him in your mind to close the distance “my heart is so full of you, that i can hardly call it mine.” and with that- he kissed you on your mouth, fulfilling your unspoken wish. your chest felt warm, butterflies still flying around your stomach just like the very first time you got a taste of his sweet lips.

“i love you too, gyu” you grinned into the kiss. you didn’t know how beomgyu’s heart melted entirely at the mere sound of those words; how ultimately, you were his greatest weakness. you didn’t need to say it back to him- and yet you did. beomgyu felt warm all over, the bangs framing his face hiding his burning cheeks away from you. he eagerly kissed you again- as if it was his last time he would be able to see you, to touch you again. no words would have been able to capture his feelings as well as his kisses did. he wasn’t aggressive- he was still tender, caressing your lips with his so delicately, yet so full of passion, hushed loving whispers and promises shared only between the two of you sneaking in as your lips crushed together.

it was so sweet, knowing that you loved him.

GETO SUGURU sighs as he all but collapses onto your bed, sprawling across the mattress like a starfish. long strands of ink black hair cascade down to his shoulders like a waterfall, finally free from being tied into their usual tight half-bun. his pristine robes hang loosely around his frame. 

you stifle a chuckle as you wander over to sit on the edge of the bed next to him. suguru instinctively tenses slightly when you rest your hand against his back before he relaxes against the pillows. “long day?” 

“something like that,” he huffs. stray strands of ink black hair frame his soft features as he turns just enough to face you. dark eyes meet your own, heavy from the exhaustion of the day. “i’m just glad to be home.”

you hum, gently rubbing your hand against his back. suguru sighs; the noise is muffled by your pillows. tension leaves his body in waves as his eyes flutter shut. you take it as a sign to continue, slowly beginning to apply more pressure to his back. “that feels nice,” he mumbles.

you chuckle softly in return. “we’re getting old, suguru.”

suguru twists, rolling his head to the side just long enough for him to murmur a teasing, “shut up.”

a shiver runs down your spine as a chill blows through the air, making goosebumps arise against your skin. you sigh, wrapping your arms around yourself in a poor attempt to retain some of your body warmth. INUMAKI TOGE notices almost immediately, concerningly glancing in your direction. “mustard leaf?”

you smile softly, dismissing his concerns with the shake of your head. “i’m fine; i’m just a little cold. i forgot my jacket earlier.”

toge nods in acknowledgement. his gaze falls to his scuffed shoes for a moment before he slips his jacket off, leaving him only in a white t-shirt. you startle slightly when you feel a soft tap against your shoulder. with shaky hands and flushed cheeks, toge gingerly lays the fabric over your shoulders, protecting you from the wind. his gaze lingers on his feet for a few seconds before he gathers the courage to look into your eyes once again. “tuna?” he asks, his voice low.

“yeah,” you smile brightly, tugging the fabric around yourself. it fits loosely around your frame, but the fabric is enough to provide some warmth against the cool breeze. “thank you, toge.”

butterflies swarm throughout his stomach as he turns back towards the street. he smiles softly. “salmon.” 

“are you cold?” 

OKKOTSU YUUTA tugs the sleeves of his uniform down, wrapping his arms around himself in an attempt to keep himself warm. shivers race down his spine; each new gust of wind feels colder than the last. snowflakes gently float down from the sky, momentarily decorating hair with faint spots of white. “i’ll be fine,” he says sheepishly. 

you frown softly as you watch how his hands tremble ever so slightly in the cold. goosebumps immediately rise against your now exposed neck as you tug your scarf off. “here,” you say, carefully wrapping it around his shoulders. 

yuuta watches with wide eyes as your nimble hands weave the thick fabric of his scarf around his neck. the frayed edges scratch against his bare skin, though he can’t bring himself to care. warmth immediately fills his face; a deep flush paints the tips of his ears light pink. “be safe out there.”

“thank you,” he chirps. yuuta leans in, pressing a chaste kiss against your cheek. his lips just barely brush against your skin before he pulls away with a bright smile and flushed cheeks. “i’ll see you when i get back!”

In preparations of I-LAND, Jungwon spent most of his time with the rest of the contestants. On one hand, he was glad to be in a project for debut and work with his friends—but on the other hand he felt crazy annoyed that said friends teased him non stop because of a certain name.

“Cut it out!” He repeats for the fifth time that hour. Heeseung and Sunghoon laugh while following him. “What? We can’t talk about your little girlfriend here?” Heeseung teased.

“Mhm. She’s pretty, I can see why you like her.” Sunghoon smirks as Jungwon turns and glares at the two.

Taeyong chuckles and walks towards the guys, putting an arm around Jungwon. “This about Y/n again?”

Jungwon gives him a sigh—a ‘what do you think?-frustrated’ sigh. “We’re not even dating! We talked once or twice, and these guys are making a huge deal. She’s not.. my girlfriend.”

Euijoo pops in too, making Jungwon furrow his eyebrows, “Totally! Right! You’re just insanely in love with her!” And he rolls his eyes again. He leans against the wall near the door, putting his hand on the knob to leave. “Oh my god.. I’m really not in love with her-”

And like on cue, you of course just had to come into the practise room—right in front of him. “Oh, sorry..” you said to him. A few of them wave at your bandmate, who was close with a few of them. But Jungwon’s friends don’t miss the pinkish blush rising on his face and how his eyes have widened.

His mouth opens at the close proximity and he finds himself stuttering. “I..it’s uh.. it’s ok.” He smiles nervously and looks down immediately. Your group mate waves to the others and you close the door again.

He lets out a sigh of relief once you leave, but freezes up when he sees his friends grinning at him. “You’re really not in love, hey? What the hell are you like when you’re really in love?”

notes: teen gojo, based off of that one scene in the credits, title from wayv - let me love you, i started watching jjk s2 PREPRARE TO BE SICK OF ME

“y/n!” gojo smiles brightly, peering at you over the rim of his black sunglasses. a clear umbrella is perched against his shoulder, protecting him from the downpour. he splashes through little puddles lining the streets, kicking up water in his path until he reaches your side. 

his umbrella is only meant for one, as evidenced by how close he has to lean in to cover the both of you. his side brushes against your own with each step you take. if gojo notices your embarrassment, he’s courteous enough not to make a comment about it. 

“fancy seeing you here,” he teases, leaning in towards you. deep cerulean eyes meet your own; gojo’s lips curl upwards into a soft smirk. 

you roll your eyes, chuckling beneath your breath. “we’re both headed back to jujutsu high. we were bound to run into each other.”

“always so cynical,” gojo whines. 

his complaints are cut off when you perk up, glancing at something in the distance. “hey, look!” heat spreads across gojo’s cheeks when you grab onto his wrist, tugging him along with you as you rush off towards a nearby alley. 

you stop near the edge of a building, only a few meters away from a nearby plant pot. hidden among the terracotta ceramic and the overflowing greenery is a small, unmoving, white form. gojo squints. “what is it?” 

instead of answering, you carefully step forwards. water soaks your hair and drenches your uniform as you kneel down, hesitantly reaching your hand out. 

gojo’s eyes widen slightly when a small kitten emerges from behind the vines, rubbing its face against your hand. you turn to look back at him with a bright smile, coaxing him over with a soft. “‘toru, come here.”

you take the kitten into your arms, cradling it against your chest. gojo smiles when it purrs as it nuzzles itself against you, leaving stray, white hairs against your uniform in its wake. you miss the way he tilts the umbrella forwards to protect you from the rain. “look how cute she is.”

gojo smiles, kneeling down beside you. the kitten shifts slightly in your arms, blinking up at him with beautiful, golden eyes. her ears flick when stray droplets of rain land on the top of her head. her fur is damp to the touch when he tentatively extends his hand out to pet her back. “she is pretty,” he murmurs.

“can we keep her?”

gojo bites his tongue, swallowing the “yes” that wants to crawl out of his throat. taking in a stray cat isn’t exactly the most responsible decision, but then again, saying no to you has never been one of satoru gojo’s many talents.

what’s left of gojo’s resolve crumbles when you hug the kitten a little tighter. she responds by stretching out in your arms before blinking at him as if expecting an answer. “please?” 

maybe you should leave the kitten behind. set her back down on the ground and hope that she’ll be able to comfortably fend for herself. or perhaps you should take her to a shelter; you could drop her off into the capable hands of a vet and wash yourselves clean of the responsibility.

but maybe you should take her home. maybe having a friendly face greeting you at the end of a hard day wouldn’t be so bad. maybe - if gojo gets to see you smile like this - the risks are worth it. 

“fine,” gojo smiles softly, welcoming you - and your new kitten - back underneath the umbrella. “we can keep her.”
