That's cool that Danielle is going to be in Chicago (I think she used to live there), I had thought about going to the London convention but I think the Europe ones are so disorganized. I would love to meet Danielle as I knew her career since her Sunmerland days but I would love to have an in depth conversation with Stefania about Italy and coming to America as I am 1st generation American from Italian parents.

Yes I think she dated someone who lived in Chicago years ago. It does seem like some of the Europe cons are chaotic and unorganized, especially the Dream It ones. But the Milan one seemed pretty good as far as I know? And it seemed more intimate given that it was only four Station 19 cast members last year. Didn't feel like solely a money grab and so far it's Danielle, Stefania and Alberto so almost the same as last year. (I'm hoping it's Giacomo instead of Grey this year though, no offense to him).

It would definitely be great to meet both of them I think. I'm sure it's an amazing experience but I would also be super nervous lol even if they both seem so warm and caring to everyone they meet. It sucks that everything is so expensive too though.

I’m curious, is it always a given that a medium is automatically a strongly empathic person? I was reading your post and I was going to ask you, for example, if you’ve ever felt a friend’s emotional distress, not physically, but online (even if the friend hasn’t said anything negative to you and lives far away) but of course that’s dealing exclusively with physical people and not the metaphysical shadows and otherworldliness that you speak of.  

An Empath as you mentioned is sensitive to presence and shifts of energy. This typically relates to the energy of living people or even animals and plants. Basically, it’s perception of what pertains to the physical plane on Earth. It’s not restricted to the emotional energies nor does that mean that the Empath is capable of understanding and always feeling positive towards the energies they observe.

You can be an Empath and be totally indifferent or negative towards the energies you perceive. For instance, you can pick up that your friend is upset—but, you can do so without adapting to their feelings of being upset. It can be like observing that the sky is gray.

As for Mediums, it pertains to people who have learned to channel higher frequencies of energy and usually it’s the energy of anything external to being a living human being—energy of spirits and spirit realms, usually (ie. the deceased, fair folk, sunmerlands, fairy realms, etc). It can be energies not strictly limited to the earth (ie. shadow people, angels, demons, heaven, hell, etc) as well. There are many Mediums who remain grounded in reality and many others who will reject it’s relevance.

There’s varying kinds of Empath (ie. physical, emotional, intuitive, etc) as well as different types of Mediumship (psychic, intuitive, dream, spiritual, etc). Both can share some similarities in abilities pertaining to areas of spirituality and perceptions of phenomena, but this doesn’t mean they’re synonymous with one another.

I am predominantly a Spiritual Medium, so most of my experiences I am sharing and expressing are pertaining to that; although, I am capable of many other varying things relating to dream worlds and intuition, too.

And yes, I can become receptive of people’s emotions regardless of location and distance if I get to knowing them for long enough time. As far as what people experience on the subject of practice and belief, I try to remain neutral. I do vent my frustrations and feelings of isolation, but I do not expect to be empathized with and do not care for the idea of being emulated. I can give you general information and point you to resources, relate by sharing my experiences, but I don’t encourage people to base their own reality around mine. People need to find their own reality they’re comfortable with.
